A lesson that when people violate your boundaries multiple times, cut them off, NO more chances. After Rowe tried to force himself on him Lenny should have kicked him out. But instead Lenny gives the other guy the condom to put on himself. Let this be a lesson to others. If someone makes you uncomfortable in anyway, you tell them and they continue, that person cannot be trusted and you need to get away. My prayers for Lenny and may Mr. Rowe rot in jail.

I was in a relationship with someone who withdrew the fact that he had HIV until he got meningitis. For whatever messed up reason, he was trying to infect me with HIV, although I was never infected; we were together for almost two years. It makes me furious knowing that such people exist. Don't ignore red flags especially if you're going to be on the receiving end of any sexual encounter. If a person tries to get you to lower your defenses it's because they're trying to hurt you. Good people respect boundaries.

@Orange Blossom Absolute bullshit. This guy stated Rowe asked him for unsafe sex. He said he didn't do that. At that point he should have walked away, said no, he had the choice. But he didn't. His choice. Rowe then attempted to enter him without a condom - at this point everything should have stopped. Indeed we're at the point of illegality. But he decided, HE DECIDED, to carry on. He stated he GAVE HIM the condom and said 'I'm trusting you' - when Rowe had proven he was not to be trusted. He let him put on the condom, he didn't supervise or check the condom was on and then let him enter him. Moreover, he could have felt that it was an unsheathed penis - there is a difference. He made all the choices, decisions to go through with it, he abnegated responsibility for himself. He let it happen. He is not Rowe's victim.
I do believe however, given his history he'd been looking for a surrogate father to finish off the job his father started on his mother. This guy is as mentally ill, in his own way as Rowe.

Where I live (at that time, dont know what it is now) U were allowed free hiv testing every 6 months. If u came in between 6 months it was sliding scale, so still affordable. I dont know if people forget doctors exist or what.....AND I still used condoms. But I wanted to know what I was looking at in case of condom mishaps. And this is why.

@@Soul56293 I don't know or I don't care if you're trolling but if you're not and you genuinely don't know this then this is kind of how it goes, cure is an umbrella term for anything that treats you of any sort of ailment. Surgery could be a cure. Penicillin can be a cure, and maybe rx glasses, prescriptions, you name it, well all be you actually did! Vaccine would definitely be a cure! So yes, there might be a vaccine! But, it could also be CRISPR-Cas9 injected with saline very similar to how we are given vaccines but, just a little bit different so technically would be named something after the individual that perfected it more than likely or whatever it gets named. But, that could very much be a cure where it can rewrite our genome to just naturally have a resistance to it all together so we can't catch it at all. But, like a lot of things, there has to be a lot of hardcore study on this so we will see what happens. 💛

I mean, that’s a good thought but at the same time you need to realize the gay community has a lot of repressed sexual tension. Not using it as an excuse but when some people finally come out, they literally go ham because they have had to hide that part of themselves for so long. The best thing anyone can do is take the right safety precautions. That means wearing a condom and not putting your trust into those who give you multiple red flags.

People have antiretroviral treatment that makes the virus undetectable and untransmittable to others. Hiv+ can have babies... that's why bareback sexual activities came back at full speed around people. Misinformation of yours and stigma persist in part because of poor sex education you may have at this moment. One pill a day can make HIV undetectable... accept this as a vaccine every single day of your life until the cure is ahead. Hiv is not a death sentence anymore!
