Tower Of Terror is actually pretty good. I usually watch it in October. I loved spooky child friendly stuff as a kid, especially AYAOTD, and I thought Kirsten Dunst was so pretty. I'm a few years younger than her so it's funny to think she was like an exciting older woman when I was like ten. It's so weird to think about how young I was back then
Ok but for some reason “The Country Bears” was one of my favorite movies as a kid, I still watch it every now and again for the nostalgia. While it is not an amazing masterpiece as it was to 6 year old me, it’s not as bad as other shows/movies I adored as a kid.
Also, holy cow, Mr. Boogedy is on Disney+?! That show scared the hell out of me as a kid and I wasn't able to find it for decades like it hadn't even existed.
@@NecrochildK I highly recommend it if you're brave enough. (I'm kidding--I'm sure it doesn't hold up for adults at all. I remember it did add a lot of "lore" to the backstory of Boogedy.)
ok but lets be real, the country bears soundtrack goes HARD though, the songs they wrote and the performances are way higher quality than they have any right to be
I watched the Tower of Terror film on Holloween while helping my friend give out candy (she's a Disney and also recent horror fanatic.) Let me tell you an outdoor theater set up, a table full of party food, a group of early to mid 20 somethings, and some movies to load up on a PS4 out in the autumn air is a great way to spend a halloween evening.
I really loved Tower of Terror (partially because my dad was such a big TZ fan, we ended up taking a trip to WDW around that time), but I mostly remember all the promotions leading up to the night it aired. Disney really knew how to advertise back then, now it seems like they don't even like the people they want to sell to. Wind in the Willows is charming too, and I believe it was a real passion project for Terry Jones. It must have been a blast to make too, with some of the best British comedians rounding out the cast.
Not sure you could call it based on the ride so much as based on the original animated short that the ride was based on. 1949 The Wind in the Willows as part of The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, the other part of the show being The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
Country Bears is the best of the films listed. It exists in it's own little world and is just a fun ride of oddness you can't help, but enjoy. I personally think Walken should have been nominates for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar.
i vaguely recall the existence of the mr. toad movie from childhood and i think i heard about the tower of terror movie but never saw any of these movies save a few trailers
Last time I went on that ride 8 months ago, he was not in the ride pre-show. Disney might have overlooked something: Yes he’s Republican but he’s a not a Trump Supporter
Wind in the Willows (UK title) or Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride (US title), I’m not sure if it’s based off the ride or part of a live action remake of the Adventures of Mr Toad
@@theothervault The movie footage. It’s just I download it from UA-cam and yours seems to be a much better picture quality, So if you could please provide a link to that it will be truly grateful appreciated :-)
Ahhhhhh... Sorry, wish I could help. I manually restore and upscale all SD footage used in my content, so unfortunately/fortunately this is the only place you'll find it.
@@theothervault Can you not at least upload/convert the whole movie into upscale footage and put it unlisted or perhaps to Google Drive? You may not have to worry that much about copyright Since like I said I was able to download a lower quality copy and it’s been on UA-cam for a while and it’s not really fully owned by Disney or major company, so you don’t need to worry about that kind of stuff if you upload it anyways
I loved “The Country Bears” as a kid, and can imagine if I watched it today I’d wonder what I saw in it 😅.
Totally! Definitely one of those kinds of movies.

AYAOTD was the BEST! I remember so many episodes scaring the bejeezus out of me.

Oh totally - there are a ton of movies that I loved as a kid and are still some of my favorite guilty pleasures as an adult.
Also, holy cow, Mr. Boogedy is on Disney+?! That show scared the hell out of me as a kid and I wasn't able to find it for decades like it hadn't even existed.
YES! Definitely covering Boogedy in a future video
Oddly, because I scared easily as a kid, Boogedy wasn't too scary for me. But then much to my parents' surprise, the sequel Bride of Boogedy WAS.
@@EricMontreal22 XD I don't remember if I ever even saw the sequel. I know I had to have, but I can't remember a thing about it.

XD Nevermind, I see you kind of covered that a bit. I jumped the gun and commented too soon.
Ha! It's like I could sense this comment coming while I was putting it all together
“This is the greatest story in history!”
Bold you to assume this is better than Theodore Rex. Look that up.
LOVE Theodore Rex!
Wow! Somehow I'd totally missed "The Wind in the Willows" movie! Thanks for filling me in!
It’s really fun and totally worth checking out!
I agree with you on the majority of these films except for Terry Jones' The Wind In The Willows which I adore.

I had literally no clue that Mission to Mars was inspired by a ride.

I loved Mr. Toads Wild Ride as a kid. It's honestly a solid family adventure film.
Legit hidden gem status.
Country bears , Muppets 2011 are blues Brothers updated. An i still watch them still.
Better than most movies in 2023.
Ah. Brian De Palma. Maker of the classic Phantom of the Paradise.
Gary sinise used to be in the mission space pre show coincidentally. Also I think mission space would make a good theme park ride based movie
I always thought of Mission Space as spiritually linked to Mission to Mars. So, a theme park ride based on a movie based on a ride...
Last time I went on that ride 8 months ago, he was not in the ride pre-show. Disney might have overlooked something: Yes he’s Republican but he’s a not a Trump Supporter

The beautiful toaaaad

The ending song at 18:31 : mi ni ni mi ni ni minimini mini mi ni ni ni
Yeahp, I'm new
Wait a minute, that country bears plot sounds familiar.
That is the exact same plot as The Muppets(2011)
True story!
Where’d you get the Mr. toads wild ride footage?
The opening day coverage or modern on-ride footage?
