Edith reminds me of one of those teachers you hate on the first day of class who scolds you, teaches you and then dismisses you. You keep coming to class and realize years later that she was the best teacher you ever had!

This is my favorite home I've ever seen on home worthy. She gave me so many ideas and tips. We have blue sofas in our gameroom/family room and I was lost as what color to do on walls and with the decor. This home just makes you feel warm and cozy just from viewing it. She's done an amazing job. Thank you for sharing this home. Thanks to the lovely designer for allowing us in their beautiful home. Also all the great tips she gave throughout this video.

So what color will you put on the walls? A darker shade than the blue sofas? What Edith does on the walls is artistic genius.. all these comments make us come alive with ideas.

@@user-ml7dn4rv6j I'm following the thread as I also want to know what colour Rhonda is going to use. I painted my bedroom Blue and wasn't sure when I bought the paint, but once it was on I was sold. I fall in love with my room every time I enter it and Edith aided me in a video I saw on the Potted Boxwood of her home. I then upholstered my couch baby blue and introduced patterns into my upholstered chairs.

What a beautiful home! She really put a lot of heart and soul into designing this home. 💗💚💙 Edith Anne has a natural ability to educate as she goes from room to room on the tour of her home. I don't ever decorate with green, other than live plants. After watching this video, I might have to pick a room and redecorate with green. 💚💚 I can imagine that she is a great person to work for; just think of everything you would learn about design. I love Oriental Jars, as well, and loved all that she had. ❤💙💚

So informative. I appreciate Edith-Anne’s depth of expertise. Her phenomenal gifts, especially with light, are evident in every inch of this stunning home. I particularly love the finishes and gorgeous “jewelry” that sparkle throughout with warmth, joy and ingenuity. This is the only tour I’ve seen with not a single thing that I don’t love. Wishing her and her family all the best in their beautiful home, framed with sublime views, where family of every generation is clearly cherished.

Me too! I always bought navy ...but after seeing her home on The Potted Boxwood...moved more towards cornflower blue (as we were in process of redecorating at the time). I can't tell you how easy it is to add in and looks SO good. Pops of orange, pinks, reds, greens go so well with it. I use a lot of wicker elements in most rooms too...as we love touches of coastal...but are not directly on the coast. I learn so much from EAD and she has a lot on Instagram too!

Especially things you don't use every day like those umbrellas on the dining table. Yeah, they are cool, but you have to have some serious storage space to have a ton of decor for tablescapes that are switched out for every occasion with a different "look" each time. It was a lot. Not simple at all. Pretty, but super fussy. So time consuming.

This is a superb master class in design and decoration. Not all of it is my taste but frankly that is secondary to the myriad of information and ideas presented and explained throughout the tour of this home. Everything is intentional but there are pops of whimsy throughout making it a very livable home and not a museum. I am not an interior designer but I love design and have always enjoyed mixing patterns -as you see with Bunny Williams's aesthetic - and evident here - but Edith Ann has made it her own which is the fun part. I will be using this video for reference going forward and thanks very much, Edith-Anne for your generosity and sharing your expertise! Healthy and joyful 2024 to all!

This was a very informative tour. If I were to design, build and decorate a house it would be exactly like this. However, I think I would smile when showing people around.

I like the simpler, lighter quality of the master bathroom with the green and white fabric touches, huge windows, and lovely, long vanity.

Think I've said this before. I love this woman 💙 and I love her home. How inspiring! I love Chinoiserie & I didn't even know it ❤. Does anyone think it's to late to take an interior design course at 50?? She's wonderful in sharing her traits as well 👏🏽 loved this one 🥰.

Love every time she says “SCRATCHY”. She’s over the top in the most delightful way!

Don’t think I’ve seen silver china storage cabinets with glass doors featured here and I love them.

How blessed with talent this lady is, every container beautiful, and useful.
I'm not as brave as Edith Ann is, with color and patterns. But, with such large rooms and tall ceilings, she makes it look easy.
Her eye for detail as in her bathroom window seat, "Headboard style." It was right in front of me, I as noticed how pretty... but missed (why) it was in the "seat back!"
Her use of tiny details makes all the difference. Mirrors with rosettes, beautiful faucets, trim on kitchen cabinets. Then showing the beautiful things we all have... but hide away, using them as well as decor!
But, my favorite, a little thing with a huge impact on the eye... to avoid the confusion of too many lovely smalls. Her use of trays and pedestals to let the eye rest on them.
Just a wonderful job! Thank you, my dear, and Homeworthy!

This by far is my favorite house tour ever. Live every corner of that house, you can tell she put lot of love and thoughts into. I saved this video to revisit from time to time because all the tips she shared. Thank you 🙏

I am absolutely in LOVE with this home. I totally agree with what she said n regards to what you wear should be reflected in your home. Which is why mine is also colorful because that is who I am. Her explanations are on point, a true designer at the core.

Such a wealth of knowledge. I learned so much from her and she has such a range of design… going from 60’s cabana style to romantic glamour.
