- On today's special episode of Homeworthy we're taking you to the small town of St. Joseph, Louisiana where one of our most popular hosts, Rebecca Vizard, takes us on a tour of her rural town that has just under 1,000 residents. You remember Rebecca and her beautiful home from a previous Homeworthy episode, but now she's going to show us her favorite shops--including her own! Plus, we'll visit art galleries, restaurants, and more--so come along with us for a hometown tour deep in the Louisiana delta. You won't want to miss this.
Rebecca is a textile designer and owner of B. Viz Design.

If you missed Rebecca's stunning home tour, you can watch it here: homeworthy.com/watch/the-ecle...
Nestled within a bed of oak trees her grandfather planted in the 1950s, Rebecca's home is a wonderful celebration of artistry, community and - most importantly - family. Her vast collection of rich textiles, artwork, and tokens from her travels are graciously layered in each room. Rebecca’s imagination continues outdoors, where you’ll find a former trailer base turned into a chic wagon where they watch movies and eat popcorn--and not to miss--a flourishing garden overflowing with the most beautiful zinnias.

Rebecca needs to be a Homeworthy regular. We LOVE her! :)
Absolutely
Agree!
I think she has already promoted her town and business.😂
So agree.
YES 🎉
Rebecca Vizard, to come out like that and go all out, probably shooting all day long for an even longer episode having withstood a dog attack is admirable. St. Joseph's is worthy of lots and lots of visitors. Thank you Homeworthy.
Hands down one of the most authentic, down to earth, videos so far. I would love to see more videos like this showcasing those little hometown gems that we don’t know about!
The Blues restaurant tour and Blues music assembly were excellent. It was great to see additional heart & soul added to this video! I love that this community created an economic base to grow their town forward! Not only did Rebecca have her own Home Worthy tour, but she also came back and shared the wealth with her community! Wishing the entire community plenty of success! 💫
Every town should be so fortunate to have a Rebecca Viszard. She's a treasure. I started making plans today to make the 3.5 hour trip to St. Joseph. Cant wait to visit.
Rebecca Vizard is my kind of woman. Despite her talent and worldly travel, she drives a jeep, is not the least bit prissy, and isn't afraid of a dog fight. Her love for her sweet little community is contagious. Thanks, Homeworthy, for another Rebecca video.
I love how Rebecca is so proud to show off her town and local artists and friends. Sharing the spotlight in the most unselfish way. Wonderful!
Her home, her personality, her authenticity was one of my most favorite episodes of Homeworthy.
Thank you for bringing her back.
Rebecca Vizard is such an engaging hostess she never stops smiling thru all her interviews and videos She personifies the Joy of Living! I loved her wonderful home tour and shared it with friends. And I look forwards to seeing her again on another Homeworthy Adventure
I COULD WATCH HER ALL DAY. SHE NEEDS HER OWN UA-cam CHANNEL.
Rebecca is so warm and inviting! Love watching her it's like spending time with a treasured friend. Love her exquisite taste. Hope to see many more episodes with Rebecca V!
Great episode! It shows that home is not just your home but the community where you belong!
YES!!!
Perfectly said ❤
Rebecca and St. Joseph’s have a great vibe! Thanks, Homeworthy, for this fun moment of Americana.
The Soul of St. Joseph, Louisiana. Great! Thank you, Dear Mrs Rebecca Vizard 💚
Dear Homeworthy, Rebecca should be a candidate as your next host. Her video and audio presence is soothing and inviting. I would binge your channel if she were hosting multiple videos, but oops, I already binge your channel! But just know I’d be binging on repeat if she were a host! Clearly I love @homeworthy 😊
Oh Rebecca, I loved your house tour ! The town of St Joseph is such a special place with such friendly people ! I hope to visit one day. God bless you all. J xxx
She is such an inspiration and joy to watch. I could watch episodes with her over and over.

So glad I live next door in Texas so I can plan a road trip to St. Joe's! Blessed people to share a resurrected little piece of heaven. Thanks to "Becky" for sharing a place so special to her and all her neighbors. Such a fun episode!!
I almost didn't watch because I was looking for Christmas videos. I'm so glad I stopped to watch. Wonderful and delightful video.
Absolutely loved this episode I've watched it 3 times already. Rebecca is such a great soul. Wow she really got bit good by breaking up a dog fight. Hope she's ok. I love HOMEWORTHY. I could watch Rebecca again .
This was so much fun! It was so interactive I felt like I was in person
So incredibly heartwarming and uplifting. One of your best videos yet. :)
When I saw this pop in my feed, I felt like Santa was coming down the chimney early!
Love this sweet lady…would have also loved to see her home during the holidays! ❤
There's an idea. A return Homeworthy visit to the home of Rebecca Vizard and her town of St. Joseph during the Christmas season. 🎄
Loved the tour of Rebecca's home...my favorite of all of your offerings - I've watched it twice. A tour of St. Joseph was icing on the cake!
What a wonderful town. Love all the different stores and businesses. Your store is fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks for touring a very special place to my family! My father's mother grew up in St. Joseph and I happened to visit in 2021, along with Lake Bruin (formerly King's Lake). Hope it continues to grow
She is such a trooper with such grace after her trauma earlier in the day.
What a fun episode. Love the enthusiasm of Rebecca and the revitalization of this gem of a town.
Such a good one! Rebecca is so comforting and soothing to watch… something about her inviting personality and diction makes it so easy to watch.
What an amazing and inspiring woman! ❤
I loved everything about this episode, Rebecca is a wonderful host, definitely a favorite of mine on Homeworthy, I can’t wait to visit St Joseph♥️
An absolute delight to watch. 🙌🏽✨
I am just amazed. I own a business in this town. I am currently renovating a historic home that will be office space for mental health counseling services. I didn’t know that all of this was downtown. Thanks for sharing.
What a delightful tour. Loved this episode.
What a fabulous spot to crawl out the window... The town is adorable and I love following HomeWorthy. It is a sweet town. I also live in a small town but not that small. There are about 3K here and during the summer it hits 30K visitors. The Lake effect. Beautiful art and a town filled with creatives.
Thank you for sharing a wide variety of house, garden and decor ❤😘❤️
Lovely town, wonderful to live in somewhere so culturally rich, but with all the advantages of a small place. Thank you for the video! I really enjoyed it.
Becky is an icon. I’m obsessed!!
Brillant episode! Loved the ending with the band.
Shopping, eating, entertainment and relaxing in a beautiful setting. What more can you ask for in a vacation!?
I think it might be good for some shade to park under if Driftwood wood plant some trees- It must get very hot there in the summer. Nothing like trees to add atmosphere too.
First think we do any where is over plant trees!
What a delightful lady. She does love her town and her accent is divine. I loved her in the episode that showed her home
I love these people! Creatively revitalizing their community!
BEST HOMEWORTHY EVER
I grew up in the Mississippi Delta. When I married we moved away and have been gone for 30 years. This video felt like going home.
Rebecca Vizard is such a positive and engaging woman. Her house tour was my favourite and now this too ❤❤❤ thank you xx
What a treat!! Loved her episode, and all your fabulous content! Thanks for producing it
The Best Homeworthy Ever. God Bless you for doing such a great job after being wounded!
Great video, loved learning about this small town and all of the artists and people that call it home❤️
This is so fabulous. I loved the first video, but this tops it all. What a lovely woman. Bringing a small town back to life, that’s where it’s at! Thank you so much. Enjoyed every minute of it!
She has so much charisma and joy. Really made me wonder about the story of the town, which people alluded to in the video…did the fire cause it’s demise?
It really was the decline in family farms, falling commodity prices, and equipment mechanization. Jobs dried up and people moved away to find jobs.
That art studio and those windows....... ahhhhh love!!!!!!
She is so dang lovable
This woman is a relic, I love it here at her space 😊
Love the fact that this lovely lady is so vested in her community! Gorgeous place I want to visit…
Omg 🎉 Mrs. Rebecca this home tour of your community make me want to be there with all of you. From the Northwest .🙏

She’s the best! I immediately jumped on this video the second I saw it.
How exciting l really enjoyed this video of your hometown.... nothing like the Mississippi Delta..... Memphis Tennessee 💜
That’s how my small town is in Indiana around 1,100 residents and I love it this was fun 💚
Amazing how designers can help rebuild their towns just through their vision ( thinking Gaines in Waco, Napier in Laurel etc. ) love it
Oh man I just loved this video so much!! What an amazing community with just the most interesting shops and artists. Thank you Rebecca and the people of St Joseph's. Love from South Africa x

Please come visit! Natchez is close!
I'd like to drive down from Maryland, but that's a hike. Maybe someday. Love all your unique items and Southern hospitality.
How joyful - The WHOLE video! Not likely that we’ll ever get your way from the left side of the country but it sure looks like fun! ❤
More of these Homeworthy!
Great tour. Rebecca is incredible. I loved this visit.
I'm from the Mississippi Delta. I just researched this cute lil town because of your video. Thanks.
Well now I want a blue and white pottery piece to hold that salt you sell! ❤
Am making a bottle cap covered table so was attracted to the bottle cap light, the camera skimmed over. Then you walked into that bakery & I fell in love with those counters.
Very interesting and lots of fun 😊
