I am a newcomer to your channel, but I am enthralled by your videos. And judging by your screen name, and the poetic wrap up to this video, I think Dr. Sagan would be pleased with your work. :-)
Thank you for this documentary master work! I can't imagine the energy & research involved, to write 20 minutes of the latest science, the oldest history, and a look far into the future... all with beautiful clips & artwork... and keeping it fascinating to the end. Well done! 👏
Just have discovered you channel. I love the calm nature, as you take us on a journey through the history of our understanding of the sun and then exploring the future, while a chill calming music is playing in the background. I love it.
You make the most awesome videos of all the "space sites". I just "discovered" you and I'm hooked; already on the 4th one of the evening. Nice measured commentary; great explanations of complex systems for scientifically challenged people like me, and beautiful graphics all weave a spell that pulls you in and keeps you riveted to you screen. Thank you so much for taking the time and expending the energy to create these videos for us, your humble viewers.
I've seen so many videos of the Sun up close and set to music, many in different wavelengths (mostly on Sean Doran UA-cam channel) and they are mesmerizing. This is an excellent video that I'll be playing for my grandkids!
Fantastic amazing wonderful video. Thank you! Also, you took a breath right when you transitioned to talking about the birth of the solar system and i thought that was very fitting, almost like you were breathing life into the sun itself. Just a funny little coincidence.
Pet pieve : when people say got as the surface of The sun. When in fact temperature is a really bad indicator for it's energy and it's also much cooler then the inside
In June of 2004, I was able to see a large group of sunspots with naked eyes and not even any filter - the setting sun was dimmed by haze near the horizon so I was able to observe it without getting blinded! Too bad I had no binocular with me, let alone my 4.5 inch Newtonian...
That's pretty awesome, however I would advice against looking at the sun with binoculars or a telescope, even when it's setting or hazy. The lenses concentrate the light and can damage your eyes. Always use a filter to observe the sun.
Ouststanding work, Blue... Quick exception to a comment you make in this particular video, however. You say/suggest Anaxagoras had no way of proving his beliefs about the Sun. That's not quite true, actually. He could have invented the telescope then---and saw for himself. (Not looking directly and only at the Sun, of course:) Had he done so---and ushered in with it the scientific methodolgy that wouldn't come for another 20+ centuries---we (Earth dwellers:) would've likely gone to the Moon and beyond 2000+ yrs before we did. The Greeks might have gone to the Moon and beyond, and we---just perhaps:)---might be probing the galaxy by now:)
one day, after the sun has engulfed the earth, intelligent life will evolve on one of Jupiter's moons and they will wonder if our planet existed before the expansion. Hopefully we will still be around to tell them...
@@skyw4278hee hee yeah, it will micro Nova every 3.14159 years 🙂🙂🙂 and then reset! And then be normal and then turn green!! I like this game. Maybe the sun will smell like roses 🫣 🌹 🌞 teehee

Nicely done. I especially love hearing about the ancients and the sun. Poor Galileo. He should've just waited for your video.
I don't think my video would've happened without Galileo and the likes!

I completely love making videos and it's amazing to get such positive reactions from viewers!

You're making the best space videos 🙏🙏 great work 🔵
I’ve been eagerly awaiting your next video.
Thank you so much. You make this old science nerd very happy each time you release a video 😊
That means a lot, thank you!

Thank you, I thoroughly enjoyed your work here. Well done.🤘☕🧠🧑🔬🚀🥇🏆⚛️.
I can actually sort of understand this one, thanks!
You're kinda like Daria being into astronomy and It's cool
Has one of these dark cold stella core ever been found? What would it be made of, iron?
My new favourite day is a Blue dot day. I always learn a new thing.

9:02 lol you said NUKULAR. It's nuc-lear
Great presentation, people should learn more and not just dream on this rock ( Earth )
Come on people! Let's get this channel the views it deserves. Share , like and subscribe if you can. It all helps.
Have we reached solar maximum yet (December 2024)?
This lady is very smart :)
Thank you :)
Thank you for the excellent science videos.👍👍

It's a giant magnet if you could amplify a magnet enough you would create an artificial sun.
George Carlin loved the Sun.
You know what! So did my cousin Jimmy. And--believe it or not, they say Marie Antoinette did, too. Just incredible
What do you think of that guy who says the sun is not a plasma, that its a liquid..?
I think he's mistaken because, IIRC, the magnetic prominences on the sun wouldn't be present with a liquid.
@ro4eva why wouldn't there? Do they not happen with liquid metal magnetic dynamos when they get chaotic with convection?

the sun will micro-nova in 2047 and the reset cycle will begin again.
