To me the best part of this game was the way new characters show up and everyone has to exposition them. It's like a celebrity holiday special from back in the day. "Hey! Isn't the Ryu the world famous street fighter?!" [Studio Audience Cheers]
That's the worst part, in my opinion. I wish they knew how to blend the worlds better in the game. The plot is just awful. I don't like the aspect of worlds colliding, personally. It feels cheap. I like how in Street Fighter X Tekken, the characters were already in the same world. They didn't really need exposition.
***** It would be actually hard to do so considering Namco x Capcom and Super Robot Wars OG series actually rely on this sort of plot devices in the first place if they wanted to include characters that will have conflicting history. Your idea will cause a situation akin to comic book's retcons and we all know how people 'appreciates' those. SF x Tekken was hated too, not just for its gem gameplay but also because that game has less plot than MvC 3, which had its own comic book prequel.

It's fun to see characters you know make their entrance, but it's also fun to meet characters you didn't know about. Like the crew from the Endless Frontier and Resonance of Fate. I had no idea who they were but they were fun to watch
This game really introduced me to a whole bunch of different games I never heard of. Now after coming back from playing some of those games it really makes me appreciate this series more. Here's to hoping there's a new one of these soon

I know, in Japan the game is called Dynamite Cop, it was Die Hard arcade here because of the movie tie in stuff. I still see it as Bruce Willis though.

Still haven't fully completed this game yet,, but it's so freaking insane with all the crossovers and potentional combinations when it comes to the battle mechanics. Plus it has a real sense of risk and reward in each chapter

I always think the way they stood thinking about stuff in this intro looks a bit sadder than the rest of the other characters.
