@@redblackheartsproductions4230 Incorrect. It's Namco's and Monolith Soft's. X Zone is a follow up to Namco x Capcom which where Reiji and Xiaomu come from. It's part of the "Namco x" franchise. If it was Capcom's it would be Project VS zone, obviously. (IDK if Namco Super Wars was related as it was was made by Namco and published by Bandai and predates Namco x Capcom which is the first "Namco x" game. Also there's Cross Edge (a crossover between Capcom, Nippon Ichi Software, Namco and Gust Corporation) which was made by Idea Factory and Published by Complie heart (NIS America in US and Europe and Koei in Australia))

Some openings make me cry too especially if an anime or game is REALLY good like this one after finishing them I watch the opening one more time.
Totally got the A.C.E 3 (Another Century's Episode 3) vibe especially near the end where all the characters from different universes all flew together straight towards their common foe. If you never heard of A.C.E 3, it's basically another epic crossover game much like Project x Zone but with Mechas instead (Gundam, Macross, Robo Getter, Eureka 7, King Gainer, Nadesico, etc.)

Still depressed that Project X Zone never caught on in the west despite everything the series had going for it, probably because of the supposed fanfictiony story and fanservice. But somehow an overrated crosssovers like Blazblue X Tag Battle gets a pass for all that and gained more popularity because of Persona and RWBY.
I like the characters and idea, I hated the insanely repetitive gameplay. Every level of PxZ was fighting the same three bosses again and again and again. It gets old fast.
Lumino just like Home Alone 2??
Im a westerner and I loved Project X Zone.
BBTAG did not get a pass, at all, it was constantly and still criticized for its shitty story and shitty DLC practices. It only survived like it did because it was a solid fighting game with some depth If one was willing to explore.
PxZ failed because it only had a good story going for it. It had bland, repetitive strategy rpg gameplay that lasted far too at times. RPG games are already niche and often fly under the radar, and PxZ did nothing to stand out but be a crossover
Pxz works fine as fanservice but as a game it has weak points like
ULTRA repetitive gameplay and very Horrible story
I mean all the game chapters are fight lots and lots of enemies and the same bosses over and over again..i mean the game has good music and good character choices but both games are WAAAAAY far from being a enjoyable game even
when you realize that the project x zone series is a crossover that rivals super smash bros

Byakushin, if you've followed along anything relating to Namco X capcom, it's also the very same final boss from that game (Kyuju Kyu or 99), but far more powerful.
Main goal(s) is the fusion of all worlds, aka world chaos. Ever since its defeat in Namco X capcom, its been VERY slowly, but surely rebuilding itself into what you see now.
Its return was very mildly hinted in "Super Robot wars og saga : endless frontier exceed". Which also featured reji and xiaomu as playable characters. That game also recently got a completed fan-translated english text patch.
