But this is not history. The argument that teaching under the shade of a tree is brought up just to even downgrade teachers and education. Just to make teachers look bad if they refuse to teach with a low wage. They want to put the blame on teachers if they dont teach without infrastructure. Everyone will pay for services but if a tutor charges even 500 per month, everyone will cry and scream that it is too much. This is the mentality of all...no one wants to pay teachers. That is why schools can pay only 5000-8000 per month (7 hours in school per day + corrections at home) They dont value teachers. No policy value teachers. NEP is even worst, teachers who have no certificates or degrees in art and craft and public speaking and whatever will be asked to teach these skills to students because the government and the schools and colleges do not want to pay for an extra teacher.

We all know that skills are needed. Who will teach them? Just take a look at all the private schools where teachers have to teach 6 or 7 periods per day. And then they have to go home and do corrections. And at the end of the month they are paid with 5000-8000. And then they also have to train the kids in sports and games, craft, arts etc. They expect that a single teacher should have all the skills but then they should work at a wage even lower than daily wage labourers. The only thing that can change education for the better is if you employ more teachers especially at the lower classes. But Government or school management will never do that. I really question these reputed deficit schools and colleges with huge enrolment. Where do you keep all the fees from the students? Why dont you employ more teachers and pay them like they deserve. Is the sponsoring body sponsoring the schools and colleges? Or are institutions sponsoring the sponsoeing body. If there is no increase in the number of teaching faculty. NEP will be totally useless. In fact, increase in the number of faculty should go side by side with NEP. But who can do this with hasty implementation.

The policy is good but we are not at par with thw implementation of this policy, we are lacking in every respect to implement, we should not believe in Jemino he is concerned only with the politics not with the welfare of the students. This haste implementation will destroy students carrier. Even big states like Kerela still rejected this,who are we to implement it. Stop politicise this matter
