27:20 The first game Zelda is the main protagonist of ever since the CDI games!
I like that zelda gets different abilities to link so that she's more distant as a character, but I'd rather her have more regular magic verses just the gimmick of the game. To me it feels like if tears of the kingdom only let link use ultra hand but no swords or bows. Still, I'm very excited for a new 2d zelda! They've always been my favorites

This was very enjoyable! The knowledge you have of different games and their series is a lot of knowledge that I don't have, and you sharing it is very pleasing. I never did things like read Nintendo Power magazine. I would very much like more videos like this!
When I saw the start of the prime 4 trailer I was kinda confused. The font was clearly Metroid, but it said 209X so I thought it was mega man since those games usually do that with dates.
Then I saw “galactic fed-“ and coffee may or may not have been spilled.

I'd love more videos like these! I've been watching your videos for so long that I'm always shocked to hear you reference common memes, though the Hobbits are definitely yassified LOL The Funko commentary also made me laugh. I have a couple but mostly because its the only merch for more niche media (I have two Leatherface funkos...) Interesting to see Chucky and Freddy Fazbear in the same game for sure lol

People that are big fans of all the Mario RPG games are eat well! Expeshally with the Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door remake that came out recently and now a new entry for the Mario & Luigi series

Ahh okay - it still looks pretty overhauled to me, but I see now looking at them side by side that it's meant to be the same one.

Zelda isn't a sword fighter, she's a mage
Why does nobody understand this???
Depends on the game really, but she does use a sword occasionally like in Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, & Hyrule Warriors - not to mention her as Sheik.
It's less that I want her to use a "sword" necessarily, just that there's a history of double standards when it comes to letting Zelda or Peach have their own games that feel like proper entries in their series. I'm definitely hopeful & excited for everything unique Echoes of Wisdom looks to be accomplishing.
