@@Stratos53100 I'm a tow operator. I've met people, sometimes with old trucks. Most often when someone's got an old truck like this, they bought it cheap, and they'll run it until it dies. @@Billybob-go8hn That really makes no sense. So how long were you a cop. How many unlawful pits did you do. Because the law says your not supposed to pit if it endangers the life of the flee'er or the public. He could have pitted him before or after the bridge. He did that on purpose. I think he was trying to kill him. Notice noone rushed down to help him. Cops don't get in trouble for killing people anymore. The only time they can ignore this law. That was quite the chase. I pray for the safety of the Troopers and LEO's who have to engage in these high speed pursuits. I salute them for their ability to remain calm and professional after all of that! Amazing. As dangerous as these pit maneuvers are, I feel it's necessary to get these maniacal drivers off the road. If they won't stop for police for a minor traffic stop, do you think they'll stop if they cause accident or injury to someone? Heck no. Dangerous drivers don't deserve to operate a vehicle on public roads, putting the rest of us at risk. They need to show these videos to our youth BEFORE they drive to educate them of the felony consequences of running. I think too many video games not based in reality have jaded their judgement.

In an hour long chase that included no other cars and ONE house, where do you figure another camera angle is going to come from? A tech savvy fish??😂😂
I know the sound of his gasp when trying to move off the car to get in the EMT bed. I've had lower back surgeries. His back is messed up for sure. Such a shame for a young man who should've pulled over when the lights came on.
I lost track of how many PIT attempts there were. And contact too. This was epic. Honestly surprised they didn’t run out of gas.
I did hear Trooper Price say at one point, he had just filled up before chase started. Good thing!
48 minutes of insane speeds with death defying turns on asphalt and gravel and finally caught. ASP "Now your facing a felony charge." Man in cuffs, "for real!?" I LOVE IT!!!
I consider these educational videos, but I don’t think enough people pay attention; because they keep making them.
I was thinking the statute of limitations was going to run out first for what ever they were chasing him for.
That's funny, love it.
Or he would be an old gray man!!!
Hi-Beams.
NO, that only happens in california
Ha ha ..funny
Motor pool manager, “Trooper Price, is there any damage on your squad?”
Trooper Price, “Yeah, all of it….”
These guys just DO NOT GIVE UP!!! They goin' get you no matter what. I would HATE to be a criminal in Arkansas.
As an Arkansas resident I've never entertained the idea of running from cops, especially the ASP. Truth be told, I've been ticketed a few times when I should have been arrested. Other times I talked my way out of a ticket. The Troopers let me go home because I didn't run and wasn't an a$$hole. Word.
Trooper Price, “Don’t you watch us on UA-cam?”
ASP is no joke. They must have a great command structure that supports them for these guys to get out here and catch these criminals. Kiddos to them.
Arkansas has a great governor. No BS.
As long as the courts back them up...
ASP troops are like ticks on dog, they never give up....
These are some serious back roads
Good job trooper Jacob Price. This guy absolutely had to be stopped! Too bad we don't have a body video
All I have to say is if you try to outrun the ASP, you better bring a lot of fuel because they are not going to give up.
They will play tag team and never run out of fuel while the perp will just run dry.
You might out run the cop but you ain’t gonna out run the radio.
@@suzannepatterson5548 The 2nd motorcycle I owned when I was a young and dumb 17 year old in the late seventies was an RD350 and I outran every radio many times. The bike only topped out about 100 but, it got there very quickly. A couple of lefts and rights and the police never saw me again. Most of today’s riders think that because they can go up to 200 they can lose them in a straight route and that is where the radio and helicopter will get them. Again, I was young and dumb and don’t condone running from the police. Today the cameras are everywhere.
Good job Trooper Price!! On multitasking! Driving them country winding roads while on the radio. And VERY NICE PIT !!
This runner knows felony eluding for 5 minutes has the same fine as felony eluding for an hour!! Props to the runner for the entertainment!! He did the Duke boys proud!!
He should have to pay for all the gas that trooper had to use to catch him !
And the damage to the cop car and bridge!
And for all the touch up work on the Trooper car from all the nicks and dents from the stones on the gravel roads.
Every police department will complete an investigation form which charges the suspect the cost of everything. It ever charges the sergeant who has to sit and read and approves the report. If there any repairs to that bridge, it’ll also be charged.
It was a heck of a chase, enjoyable for us, irritating for ASP, and ended painful for the perp.
I’m almost expecting them to pop out somewhere in Yellowstone !
Craziest chase I’ve seen in my 20 years OTJ. Damn
When these things happen, who forks out the big bucks to pay for all the damage to everything? Guardrail, vehicle repairs, other property damage etc etc etc. Wow what a muck!
When I was in insurance, the bad guy got billed.
Holy crap what a wild chase, excellent driving Trooper! Outstanding professionalism!
I've lived in alot of different states, but ASP are the most aggressive i've ever seen. It's fun to watch.
Yea they don't stop chasing
1:45
…that was legitimately, technically speaking, a steezy, absolutely perfect drift around a 90° turn. It’s so perfect in fact, I think it was actually a “save” when the brakes locked up 😅. Regardless of his “drift intentions” before the corner entry, the dude is an operator for making it work.
That 90 right caught every Scandinavian's attention. Prolly triggered Amber alerts in Finland.
He even tapped the stop sign as if it were a professional doing a trick!
Kudo's to the officer for staying with him, great pit! Much respect!
I love trooper Price. He is so professional even after these chases. This man really loves his job and actually cares about the people.
Gay, huh, RH?
A very effective PIT! The creek was an extra bonus...baptized!
I love ASP and I live in SC. They will PIT you at 35mph or 135mph. Keep the roads safe. Excellent job ASP....
"how stupid are you?" this video answered that question
An A-A, VERY stupid
Too bad the courts are not as aggressive in dealing with these people as the State Police.
How do Arkansas residents NOT understand that their State Police will PIT them if they run and ruin their car?
Stupid is as stupid does. Arkansas seems to be blessed with a wealth of idiots...
It's not usually their car.
They don't have internet out there yet, they don't watch UA-cam
@@austint1151 we all have internet and we all watch UA-cam.
Bc their stupid
Trooper Price - 1 / Running man - 0. There’s no better videos than the Arkansas State Police to watch if you like P.I.T.s. If you watch UA-cam videos, you learn really quick don’t run from ASP. If I ever find myself in Arkansas, I’m gonna have to buy these guys a nice cold drink. ASP must have to budget a lot for vehicles, they will P.I.T. You and not worry about the damage to the Police vehicles.
We was screamin' through the valley
Where the Nishnabotna flows
Through the mud and crud and cornfields
Where the marijuana grows
'Cross the railroad tracks of Persia
Down the hills and up the dale
Had a CJ5 with a four-wheel drive
And Smokey on my tail
Well, he picked me up at exit 12
On the I-680 ramp
I was doin' 67 per
When I rumbled through his trap
He commenced to whirl his flashin' lights
And he made his siren wail
I slipped on down to four-wheel drive
With Smokey on my tail
Now I got racin' stripes and dual pipes
And Smokey's got a Ford
Got a mill with a four-pot carb, you know
But Smokey's stroked and bored
Well, the chase was on, but I had the edge
With a rig that'll never fail
Got a CJ5 with a four-wheel drive
And Smokey on my tail
Yeah, he was
Well, I dropped on down to granny low
And I made a hard right turn
My big ol' fat commando tires
Went slashin' through the corn
Well, the tassels blew
And the kernels flew
And it looked like yella hail
Just cookin' alive in a four-wheel drive
With smokey on my tail
Well, we went screamin' through the valley
Where the Nishnabotna flows
Through the mud and crud and cornfields
Where the marijuana grows
'Cross the railroad tracks of Persia
Up the hills and down the dale
My CJ5 with four-wheel drive
And Smokey on my tail
Look out, now, here he come
Oh, we gonna get it on now
Don't hit that fella with the banjo
We gonna swim this here creek now, Smokey
Yard wide and a foot deep
Nishnabota river, they call it
Might hafta winch ya out
Gonna do a wheelie on that there gopher mound now, Smokey
Can you dig it, Smokey?
Got four on the floor and four in the air on that one, didn't we?
Goodness gracious
Like ta bust my shocks
Well, that Jeep of mine made Smokey whine
His rig was made of lead
He was mired in 14 feet of mud
So he radioed ahead
I pulled up onto the blacktop
And went crashin' on through the rail
Sakes alive, I had 25 more
Smokeys on my tail
Now I had racin' stripes and dual pipes
And Smokey had a Ford
Had a mill with a four-pot carb, you know
But Smokey's stroked and bored
Well, the race was on, but I had the edge
With a rig that'll never fail
Got a CJ5 with a four-wheel drive
Settin' out back a' the jail
-C.W. McCall
Something about those CJ5’s. They do tend to find trouble.
That was brilliant, thanks.
C.W. had several great songs! Grew up hearing them played by my papa❤
Good job trooper.glad your out there protecting us. God bless you trooper.
These ASP pursuits are easily the most interesting thing I've ever seen about Arkansas.
😂😂😂
Really interesting is that in this entire video of over an hour, we don't see _a single vehicle_ on the road that was not involved in the pursuit other than the ambulance. Beautiful. This is where I want to live.
Just curious as to what the front of that Charger looked like after all that. Excellent job Trooper.
Gravel is hard to drive on! Those speeds are crazy
U gotta watch out for rocks too Can flatten tires , on em Dirt Rds. ,, we have alot of dirt rds in MAINE
Thank you officers for your service and please stay safe.
The police need something extra, imagine trying to pit a 9,000 pound Hummer EV.
I have an 11,000 lb F-350 that would do it with no problem
Ever heard of the Rhino?
@@ricker024 Yes, beautiful animal.
@@ryanhummel7714 No, the swat kind. Yes they are pretty though.
What a fantastic PIT, great pursuit, great lack of excuse, this one covers it all. A clean record to a felony and probably lifelong injures. The idiocy just amazes me! I imagine he threw something out but still I hope he learned from this
Could you imagine being the poor soul who's vehicle this does belong to? Just having to watch someone tear the hell out of your truck?
His buddy gonna be mad lol
That's what insurance is for
@@angeschannel73 Not if its Liability only...being an older truck doubt if the owner ( whoever it may be) has full coverage.
@@Stratos53100 I'm a tow operator. I've met people, sometimes with old trucks. Most often when someone's got an old truck like this, they bought it cheap, and they'll run it until it dies. They got plenty of good use out of it, and it doesn't owe them anything. It's been "time for a new one" for the past three years. They just don't because they don't need to yet, 'cause it still runs. Somehow.
If some lowlife stole my rusty 96 Dodge, I would have no problem if the law Pits him to terminate the chase. These creeps put everyone else on the road in jeopardy because they think they're Bill Hickman or one of the Pettys.
This video gives new meaning to Arkansas' state motto of "The Natural State"!
Too bad they didn't have a mounted minigun to immediately terminate the pursuit
Or antitank gear.
Oak A for President.
If not of thes United States at least of the ASP .
He's got My vote !
"You may run many a time,
You won't outrun the Minigun !"
I LOVE your suggestion. Puff The Magic Dragon would put a quick end to any chase!
ASP usually get their driver, but the question is, will they remain behind bars or be back out to pit again.
They'll be out in the blink of the eye...!
@@dudleydeplorable5307 Sadly true, and a waste of ASP talent.
I give the driver some credit for his driving skills (not for fleeing). This was a good ole' country chase. Didn't end well for him.
Trooper Price, I'm betting that pit made Trooper Bryd proud ! That looked to work out perfectly. To all the law enforcement in Arkansas, thank you guys for what you do !
You mean pull people and truckers over and give them frivolous tickets. You should try and get ALL the videos. Watch how hard it is. They only let you see the good stuff they want you to see. Most depts do that. Anything outside their norm. Is a lot of red tape and aggravation.
@@hiwaystrailingadventures byrd is the word
Wonder if Tpr.Bryd was his FTO
@@Billybob-go8hn That really makes no sense. So how long were you a cop. How many unlawful pits did you do. Because the law says your not supposed to pit if it endangers the life of the flee'er or the public. He could have pitted him before or after the bridge. He did that on purpose. I think he was trying to kill him. Notice noone rushed down to help him. Cops don't get in trouble for killing people anymore. The only time they can ignore this law. Is if the flee'er hit multiple vehicles or shots were fired. And neither of these had happened. Alot of videos have been sent in on illegal pits. In every state it happens. You'll support them until it's you. Just like thousands of others
@@hiwaystrailingadventures well I don’t live in Arkansas so I couldn’t give a shit, I’m white, have a nice truck with a ccw. Cops never go out of there way to pull me over. But Byrd is a badass and you’re jealous of him obviously!
Me taking notes: “don’t fuck around in Arkansas”😂
Most cool, calm, and collected aftermath of a PIT ive ever seen......... No drama, no yelling, no rise in blood pressure ....... just business as usual- straight to the point- and done!!!!!
He was a badass behind the wheel and driving the shit outta that truck! But humbled by the officer's excellent pit maneuver turning him into a big crybaby! I want to know why he ran just doesn't make sense 🙄
This really pisses me off that they usually reduce felonies to misdemeanors and then the judge just lets the fool go. That idiot could have killed trooper Price many times over. Good driving Jacob. Thank you for making Arkansas citizens safe.
I feel sorry for the fish in the creek. Probably got the fright of their life - poor guys. 😂
Love the velcro driving by cops who grow up on country roads and never forget where each goes. Brings back good memories of. Also love that driver was forced to make his own way out of his wrecked truck.
“Awraht, Ah pitted him. He’s in the crick!”
Up the creek, without a paddle!
Then when he gets out in 2 hours, they can chase him again. Over the river and through the woods...
Yeah maybe chase him on a bicycle cause his truck is gonna sit in that creek for a bit then impounded and auctioned for scrap.
