i don't think Amaury is a miracle worker, I think he is a rare find, a person who is so talentedly skilled and passionate in what he creates and does, and many other things he also turns his hand to, who works so hard to produce above and beyond what is asked or expected and so touchingly humble on top!

One thing that really sets the Château Diaries apart from other château shows is that it's never forgotten that it is a vlog about people. I just realised I smiled all the way through the video. The blue bells inside and outside, Maria's spring themed "special herbs" and blossoms in the dessert, Phillip's design efforts and Amery's building skills were really special too.
Sometimes - well all the time - I am so blown away with just how hard everyone works at LaLande! Each and everyone of you must have your thoughts on just how you can make things amazing for yourselves and most importantly your guests. The attention for detail certainly shows in the results, when you walk into the room and gasp at how stunning everything is. This also shows how kind and caring your hearts are! When I look for good things to heal my heart, I look to you all and it makes me smile.

There is nothing more perfect than walking through a bluebell wood. We have blue, white and a pink/lilac colour bluebells that grow wild in our front garden.

Stephanie…Wouldn’t it be magical if in a future landscaping project you were able to clear a beautiful path through the bluebell forest and put a little seating area in there. It can be an annual tradition for both you and your guests to take a stroll through the magical place and sit in quiet reflection.

@@seaglass777 When a lot of people walk through a certain area, there will be many paths, it is better to have specific ones so that there is no damage to the area as a whole.
Have an artist paint your "fairie" garden of blue bells to capture this magnificent special spring at your chateau. A permanent memory. Have post cards or stationary made from this live view to give to guest or your Patrons. What a joy to see this in your forest.

That wallpaper in the bathroom is just fabulous! Change out the skirting on the dressing table to coordinate better with the curtains and wallpaper; keep the chandelier (yes, lower it!) and those side lights (I didn't like them before, but now I do, and they coordinate with the chandelier!). keep the paint color selections relatively neutral, let the wallpaper have the starring role!

Yes, a skirt for the dressingtable in any of the colors featured in the wallpaper would look great! I actually like the white below thr wallpaper as all the porceliane is white (ie bath, wc, even that figurine etc) it makes the whole lower part very harmonious and calm to the eye, so I'd probably just put in a beaded "chairrail" painted in a bleubell blue or matching green to mark the transition and like you said, let the wallpaper, mirror and sconces grab the attention as they do, or it may get a bit busy for a really relaxing space. The green curtains are to die for there!

I love the color of the dressing table.......it throws a vibrant color and matches the wall sconces above the sink and also the ceiling chandelier.....I say keep it the same.....clashes of color are what art is all about...matching it all is boring

Here in Sweden we were celebrating the last of April, which is called Valborg, with lighting of a huge fire and songs to welcome the Spring, so I came late home. Now I have just looked at this bluebell episode, and it´s among the most beautiful scenery I have seen, the working of team Nati and Amaury, Pavlina and Maria, and Stephanie and Philip ´s quiet moment in the woods, a pleasure to look at, all romantic and blue, which in this case is not melancolical but hopeful. Paint the ceiling in the new bathroom a light (and delicate) skyblue! This might give the room even more of an outdoor-nature feeling and could go really well with the pink of the wallpaper. Maybe even a little hint of an Trompe-l’œil effect with different shades of blue (like lighter towards the center)? I think this could open up the room even more and painted ceilings are certainly chateau-appropriate :)
🥀 Good idea…& (to add my two cents worth), possibly an ombre’ effect from the pink of the wallpaper gradually into the blue to diffuse the line of demarcation a bit. And paint all the jarring white stuff! Oh what fun to be a back seat decorator!🥀🥀🥀🍃

Thank you, for showing us the bluebell woods. It is so long ago that I have seen a bluebell wood. Nearly, 30 years now. I used to go regularly in the spring for a walk and picnic amongst the bluebells. One of the highest joys of life in my estimation. Now I live a world away from where any bluebell could grow and there are many beautiful things here but when spring arrives in Europe, I still yearn for the bluebells of my youth.
And thank you for showing us the wisterias. Way back in the beginning of this series, I asked you to please plant wisteria and viewers said you would not as they would damage the walls but I knew you would plant wisteria. I never for one moment doubted it. You and Philip are romantics. There is no way, you would not have wisteria. They are not something a romantic would ever be able to resist.
You know you've got the right wallpaper (and mirrors for that matter!) when it looks like it has always been there. Gorgeous work! Excited to see the room completed if it looks this good now! Stephanie, The bluebells frequently proliferate with the assistance of the squirrels. I know that my bulbs and other plants get eaten or moved around by the critters. But the squirrels and the bluebells seem to have a special relationship. 💙💙💙

I think it is called being young as in physically young ! I still remember sleepless nights, going to college then doing a nightshift on a switchboard, one hour sleep in between then one hour in the school library. Another night I worked all night wallpapering a sitting room for the family I was staying with and then going out at 3 am with my girlfriend to steal rhododenrons from in front of the town hall only to find on arriving home that despite the large array of colours we both ended up with mauve ! I had just hung the curtains when the family got up for breakfast and off I went to college ! NEVER again !
