    Black women should always go natural. It is just so beautiful! You are ***flawless. And this is coming from a gay, white, 23 year-old male. I LOVE AFRICAN HAIR!!! 😍 Fucking iconic.

    I have been watching you videos. Pretty interesting. I love health of your hair. My hair is almost the length of yours. I have been natural for about three years and what I found out to be true is trimming your hair does not make your hair grow, it grows directly from he scalp. Your hair is REALLY beautiful. Are you looking to grow to waist length? Also yes, heat can cause damage but you should trim it like every once a year. I know that sounds crazy, but many people do it and that how there hair grows to be so long. Beautiful hair, keep the videos rolling looking forward to seeing how long your hair grows in another year!

    oh my gosh your hair looks awesome! Definitely see that you've recovered tremendously from your breakage set back. I also wanted to add that I used all of the same products you used in this video and an argan oil foam setting on blow dried hair for massive volume..and my hair came out silky and huge! Thanks you so much for sharing!

    Just a tip: if you use a barrel vent brush while blowdrying with the nozzle attachment instead of the comb attachment it will come out smoother and flatter :)

    BEAUTIFUL hair Lady!!! If I may, just wanted to caution you about using those doo-rag scarfs directly on the hair because they aren't made of satin or silk & have microscopic holes that can pull out & break the hair! Just thought I'd share & hope it helps someone! Happy journeying....

    I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your videos. I just stumbled on to it because I was looking for advice on a black rinse. I have the same pattern of baldness you had, and issues with thinning edges. I'm doing the big chop for the summer. I've just had my last relaxer. I'm kinda scared because this means I have to break up with my stylist, but I have to do what I have to do. Thank you so much :)

      @L1558 10 років тому

      Hi Morrisa..I think the comb attachments are a must :-) they help with smoothing the hair so that when you flat iron you only need one pass or two for good measure. Never really need more than two :-) your hair is very pretty btw!

    • @WhatRissaKnows
      @WhatRissaKnows 10 років тому

      Thank you so much! Yea, if I use I blow dryer I usually just use a brush and it is super hard so I do think I will purchase the comb attachment so I can use a normal blow dryer :)

    I just tried flat ironing my hair for Christmas Day since my big chop 8 months ago! My hair is now an awkard length between the base of my neck and shoulder length! My results were horrid! Looks like I need to cut off about 2 inches because my ends were insanley dry! It's most deffinetly hot heat damage since I haven't flat ironed my hair since going natural so the culprit can only be dryness. So my question is (this is for WHOEMEVER can answer me, not just pashtash) am I able to nurse my dry ends back to health, or would it be better for me to just cut them off? I'm talking BRITTLE dry.

    • @TheStinalee201120
      @TheStinalee201120 7 років тому

      More than likely it was scab hair. For some coming from relaxers, the first couple of inches grow out damaged and brittle. Imo the hair is highly porous too. Daily doses of Aloe Vera juice and sealing with a butter can help lay the cuticle down and give a smoother feel and look, but can't really fix it. If you can't stand it just trim it through mantinence trims.

      We are black naturals. If you understand anything about African American natural hair, it is puffy and I think you meant to stay "stiff". Our hair does not move like our Caucasian sisters (like you seem to be), so its going to move a little stiffer. However, her hair is beautiful and for you to add a "but" in your compliment is kind of like you didn't compliment at all.

      I don't think she wanted to get it too straight. Pretty sure her goal was not to loose her natural curl pattern by obtaining heat damage. Which is what happens when you go for caucasian straight.
