Hey Robert I like structured tailoring I think it is timeless and has a more classy look.

Soft tailored is better for me because I’ve been going to the athletic club, shoulders looking good without pads. Great video ✌🏾

I use soft shoulders for everything, both formal and non formal.

A couple of years ago, I bought several overcoats from J.Crew. Took em to the tailor and told em to remove all of those annoying shoulder pads. I hate em, didn’t even know “soft tailoring” was a thing.

Yeah too much padding is very annoying! I always get stuff unstructured.

fun fact: spalla camicia doesn't need to be pleated. It basically translates to "made like a (dress)shirt aka the sleeves go in and under the shoulders as apposed to meeting halfway :)

Different look serves different purposes and that's the bottom line. I wouldn't wear a fully lined and structured suit to an event, in the Caribbean, unless I want to be burnt to a crisp.

Why not go for the best of both worlds? For jackets, I always go unpadded shirt shoulder and full canvas: the jacket’s torso looks more alive, and then there’s the beautiful lapel roll, while the rounded natural shoulder helps balancing out the formality, so the jacket is more versatile. Plus, fully canvassed jackets hold their shape better, and they are more durable over time.

It’s a discontinued model. All of their peak lapel stuff is now MTM only

What if you have broad muscularshoulders but a soft chest or gut or big belly?

I would suggest wearing a more structured jacket.

In my own opinion Soft Tailoring its looks like very nice and i think it's comfortable if you wear this than structure tailoring ,but there are both nice its depends on how you wear it.
