Have ran in alot of versions of the kinvara and it always been in my rotation. This is more in line with the kinvara 13. The original had a heel puck of powergrid or progrid, with the piston lugg system. I wish they would bring back the lugg system in the forefoot for that grip and rip feeling it use to have.
Just know the K14s are a diversion from what the Kinvara is... I don't hate it, but to me it's not a Kinvara. (And the forefoot width is too narrow for long runs, despite it being the most cushioned version)
This looks promising. Little worried about that high heel tab. Kinvara 3 had one like that and it would always rub against my achilles, leaving it bloody on longer runs.
We already have the Saucony Ride as a thicker daily trainer. Why does this shoe need a 29 mm stack height? High stack height is not the Kinvara's niche.
Yep, agree. 19mm in the forefoot and 23mm in the heel, but once you throw the sock liner and add rubber it adds up. Xt900 rubber was thick and the piston lugg system was so good that people used them on trails.
It seemed like the 14 and 15 was taking the place of the ride while the ride moved towards the triumph, and the sinister took the place of the type A and the kinvara.
Kinvara is Kinvara again. Appreciate.
Perfect. Good to know the stack has been reduced. That's the spirit of the Kinvara and why I'm using it even if I got other shoes

Personally I love the Kinvara. It’s a nice break from the max stack and plated shoes. It’s light AF.
I still run in a pair of Kinvara 14s. Works great for treadmill miles

@tsubakichan i know. I also wesr the wide footed version

Last good Kinvara was the 13. Luckily this looks similar.
Will Saucony be continuing with an updated Kinvara Pro or is that shoe done?
I think it may be evolving into the Endorphin Trainer - check out the videos about that one.
@@gtromble thanks, yes that seems to be the case.
Hi. The Kinvara Pro is dead.
!!!! Saucony kinvara 16 for ever!!!. Like to Risa. A nice weekend for everyone.
3% more Rebound than the 15 ... 😂😂😂
y is that funny :DDD:D:DD:DD
I would love if saucony put rubber on this shoe... i don't need a kinvara to be 7 oz

The 15 are already 29 mm / 25 mm. If the 16 is firmer, that's good. But the OG was like 23/19 mm ...
I wouldn't be surprised if Saucony got sued by Nike for using their "Fly Wire" technology 😬
The ORIGINAL Kinvara was not 29mm heel. It was closer to 23mm...
That’s what I was thinking

I hate that they think 29 mm is a selling point...
@@itsaclark a good selling point would have been "we've gone with a full pwrun pb foam or full HG foam."
I’m so glad they’ve gone back towards the original Kinvara. The 14 & 15 were both complete garbage.
Totally agree.
i thought they made 15 similar to the OG kinvara while the 14 was disliked by kinvara diehards??
It seemed like the 14 and 15 was taking the place of the ride while the ride moved towards the triumph, and the sinister took the place of the type A and the kinvara.
@@roostermiller yeah I agree. The sinister is surprisingly pretty amazing! My only gripe is the fit. Really hoping for a Sinister 2
14s rock so light and great all around shoe. The 15s stink
