I completely agree with you on the plot and pacing. For such a slow burn, it really did rush through major events near the end. Also the lack of backstory of Longlegs was super annoying. I do hope the next film will be a prequel.
@@jackfran2188 cerebral horror is different than your run of the mill horror flick. It requires you to think as opposed to just reacting to jump scares. Some people don't like cerebral horror and just get bored with it. Other people like to have their brain tickled as opposed to just knee-jerk reactions.
Longlegs didn't have an "apprentice"... he had an accomplice. Not to be nit picky but that's a huge difference. Also saying "the mom we seen that is clearly possessed by a demon" is weird when she is not possessed and there's no demon. She's willingly working foe the devil to spare her daughter. She is not possessed
Yeah you’re night about both points. When I said possessed by the demon, I more meant that she was acting like she was possessed by a demon. I probably could’ve been more clear though. Thanks for watching the video and thanks for the feedback!
And what does the film say about autism if *****spoiler***** She was being controlled by the devil doll metallic ball brain the whole time? Autism = semi-catatonic devil’s curse?? If she’s autistic (which is never explicitly said…) then the implications are ✨problematic✨
Love this movie ❤ saw it 3 times 📺 THEORY - Lee continues her father’s work and Ruby goes on the force (which agency tbd) 👮🏽♀️ Grade: 9/10 🍿

I really liked it. But I just saw Oddity last night also and damn…it was also very, very good.
Any movie with Nick Cage in it is a freaking masterpiece.
Other than the needless makeup on you know who, the movie was very thrilling. Never scary
not the scariest but very good film

On the spectrum or the daughter of a severely traumatised single mother?

I found it boring
