Big thank you! One more thing if you have the patience you can sell the frames in The Den. You can slow walk from your ship to the vendor and then wait on the chair nearby while the credits are refreshed.
Might be worth it to go to a planet with a slower rotation cycle so you don’t have to wait 24 hours twice. You might have to slow walk to your ship then slow walk to a civilian/industrial/science outpost vendor, but I assume you’ll make up the time by waiting less.
You can carry everything at once. Carry 10 million pounds and still run anywhere. It’ll drop you to 10% health but as long as you don’t take fall damage or get into a fire fight you won’t die. Just keep running, it’s fine. You can even jump and boost nbd. You can also carry as much as you want on your person onto your ship and fly anywhere. Very tricky to find that sweet spot where the two meet each other. For me, I gave up and just went and found separate planets. Would be handy if you had the ability to show the exact location. Good guide though
This spot can be tricky but should work for everyone. Right at the bottom of the planet, as the craters meet the mountains. You can always just make two outposts on the same planet and cargo link them which will do the same thing. Different planets will require additional He-3 to generate power for resource sharing and a lot more traveling, which is not ideal.
So you know how these planets are randomly generated I found the area you were in at a different part of the map and I ended up finding iron and aluminum there thank you
Researching Extraction I requires "Drilling Rigs." I'm not seeing those available at the bench. The Mag Pressure Tanks are in the crafting list, but not the drilling rigs. Any help?
Wait, doing the isocentered magnets give you the exact same XP as the adaptive frames do. Why would they get you to level 100 in an hour but the adaptive frames take 5 hours?
Couldn't get a super reliable over lapping area but they were close enough that I just made two outposts in the one spot and linked the second resource to my area where I slept. Was really the distance of about the length of freighter ship.
Okay, i have a problem that I cant produce adaptive frames, even though i have a lot of aluminum and iron in my inventory. That shows that i dont have any aluminum even though there are hundreds of them, it also says currently built, even though nothing happens. I just dont understand...........

Why are there 2 outposts on two planets, that don't send resources to each other? Just make a bed at one, rest, and make frames again, then rest again and repeat?..

Is there any more easy method i want to get enough skill points to just get that skill that rises how many crew members you can have as there are 2 i want but cant start the quest where you can get them until then i already have 3 the full starting amount.
An hour driving around looking for iron near aluminium and I give up. Can’t find it anywhere. Guide isn’t very clear and the map has changed which doesn’t help.
Took me nearly a whole day to find aluminum with iron, and once i had it all set up I was steadily tapping the a button for a lil bit not realizing i can do it at 99 at a time. 😅
Also, I somehow have a problem landing my ship on the landing Pad on the Venus Outpost. The ship never appears on the pad but somewhere off in the distance. That is so incredibly frustrating that I would like to hit the wall. I tried to relocate the landing pad, that tore down the whole base and moved it to another spot but still the ship wouldn't land where it should??? Additionally, the area where the Landing Pad is located get somehow curved out of the yellow circle marking the end of the reach of the Outpost??? What the freaking hell is wring here???
I have been walking around this moon for more than 30 minutes now and not seen one vein of aluminum. Tons of Iron, but only rocks of aluminum and beryllium. Do I need to upgrade my scanner or something? Do the "rocks" point to a vein? I am looking for the "glowing" areas and I have seen nothing but iron.
I had the same problem but if you have your outpost out while searching it'll tell you at the top left where the aluminum and iron is. Once you find a spot that it says there's both place the outpost down and then look for the veins. The veins should be more visible now once you placed the outpost. If the veins aren't enough to place enough extractors you can delete the outpost and re place it closer to veins that you saw after first placing the outpost
Ok Why didnt you grab the resources from the storage units after you sleep. Am I missing something? Does it automatically deposit in your inventory? Not having to do that would save alot of time
Just do story missions and invest in the science tree first, won’t take long at all and you’ll need the credits from them if you don’t have them already
To be fair, the Venus base gives away the same amount of XP as the first one. I had in mind you'd receive more XP by crafting the magnets but nope. The only thing that makes it different is the fact you can get more resources while sleeping, meaning you don't have to sleep that often. Other than that, it's the same. Unless I am missing something. Also, it would be nice if you highlight the extra materials needed for Tier 3 Power and Extraction structures. Thanks for the guide btw.
Yeah I'm aware, I just wanted to point that out lol. Speaking of which, do you think you could upload a more advanced XP farm? I'm seeing people uploading farms of Exotic or Unique items (therefore more XP) but they explain way too fast and it gets confusing. I liked the pace you explained this tutorial.
I noticed that somewhere between 12-14 large containers per resource seemed good for the Venus farm. But it depends on some of your skills and the quality of your extractors. Better skills and extractors will require 20+ large.
I gave up hunting/questing etc. at level 83 and cranked out the last 17 levels via this method so thanks for the guide. It was still quite a grind. 17 levels may not sound like much but the XP requirements keep rising so it still took quite some time and it was mighty boring but I finally got the level 100 achievement :) . Now I need a long break (until 1st DLC) from the game.
This video is great as far as how to farm resources, but i didn’t hear in the video how it equates to leveling up. You can get 100xp each time you make 99 adaptive frames but it took me like an hour to gain one level. What am I missing? Is the part about 20,000 xp per minute just click bait or?
can someone explain how to make higher level extractors? What skill is that? I have my outpost maxed out but i dont have the option to create better extractors
I believe in the video you said if you do not want to sell the crafted items "just throw it away" since not worth the effort. Can you elaborate on that? Do you mean "Drop" the item "somewhere"? There are a lot of items, will they just be everywhere? Maybe I am missing something and you can just "delete" them somehow? I am crafting them and they are in my personal inventory until I put them in the ship cargo. But I really only want the XP at this point. Also, it would be nice if you could do this crafting in the ship (on the landing pad) like you do outside but it does not have access to the storage containers. If I use transfer containers (only 200 size though) you still have to move it from there to the ship. Seems restrictive. Thanks for the video and the help.
What in the world makes it faster on Venus?? Nothing, you still get just 1 XP per crafted Material. I wasted a two days setting the base up (getting the necessary skills etc). The bigger Containers and the better Extractors are helpful, but you also need two additional materials, drilling rigs and coolant, which you didn't mention (the rig is very hard to get :-/).
Not true, I found his exact spot. And spots with results from other videos. The planet and resources is defined..the individual nodes can move around, but not resource regions.
I got to level 84ish the normal way then just ground out the rest quickly. didnt take long. Maybe less than an hour? Learned to "click, e, click, e" as fast as possible
Well I already spent the time building a whole outpost system to bring resources from other planets. Wish I would have known about this moon but glad I had the right idea with the crafting for XP anyways 😆
The more boxes don't really seem to help that much? They only fill up once. If I sleep more than once in a row without crafting, my number of resources will not go up. I have to sleep once, craft, and repeat. Having more than 4 boxes seems to not help at all.
At Outpost 1 sleep takes about 75% of your time and resource crafting takes 25%. At Outpost 2 on Venus, you sleep for less than 5% of the time, and craft for 95% of it. The crafting is what actually creates XP. You’ll also have potential to have upgraded your skills for better yields.
Tip: using food that gives 2% more xp for any certain amount of time, gets skipped when you sleep. Only way for more xp % is having someone like Sarah and being married
I made several huge outpost and I noticed after adding more storage for minerals, my game started randomly stuttering. Would the huge outpost inventory be causing this? And yes, Im on ssd. Edit: there was no stitter or lag prior to adding much more storage.
@@BioTheHumanit would appear that way, I haven't really had any crashes outside of very heavy gun/ship battles but when I had 20k on me last night it crashed like 3 times by the time I could sell it all lol
Even faster if you have the ability to play the PC gamepass version with mouse and keyboard. You can hover your cursor over the quantity selector and the item to craft. Then just spam left click and E until all your resources are used up. Just make sure to scroll through the crafting list until the item you want to craft is the first item on the list.
As soon as you can get outpost engineering skill. I think you need at least 6 levels all spent on science tree to get that and enough credits for materials.
Failing that run to your ship with them whilst encumbered (don't worry your health will go low but you cant die. Unless you get shot whilst running) then travel to any vendor and keep selling them to make money

If I use transfer containers (only 200 size though) you still have to move it from there to the ship. Seems restrictive. Thanks for the video and the help.
You just drop them. They drop in a group.
Took me 2 hours to find a spot wih Aluminum, Iron and Helium.
Now my work bench won't work, it says its obstructed... help
Quick save then quick load, fixed
My containers don't connect properly so it only fills the first one
If I sleep there's only 700 amuminum and 500 iron max, sleep a second time but it doesn't add?? How come
I linked like 40 storage containers to the first storage container but they are with red lights??
For me, none of the storage containers links to the first, I have to connect each extractor to a container
Move containers sepwrating them all. Delete any links and start the linking process again. Hope this helps
Planets are different for everyone that spot that worked for you isnt the same for everyone else
Not true, I found his exact spot. And spots with results from other videos. The planet and resources is defined..the individual nodes can move around, but not resource regions.
@@CoachAndrew77 im not saying that iron wont spawn in crators or whatever just that every players worlds are different
I got to level 84ish the normal way then just ground out the rest quickly. didnt take long. Maybe less than an hour? Learned to "click, e, click, e" as fast as possible
Fun fact on my first oupost. On bessel 3b (i think. Its definitely a moon in bessel) it take 57 days Universal time. For 1 day local 😳
Well I already spent the time building a whole outpost system to bring resources from other planets. Wish I would have known about this moon but glad I had the right idea with the crafting for XP anyways 😆
I created the system as well but I am dumb and didn't come up with the idea to craft for XP. Funny that I did that back in fallout 4 though
The more boxes don't really seem to help that much? They only fill up once. If I sleep more than once in a row without crafting, my number of resources will not go up. I have to sleep once, craft, and repeat. Having more than 4 boxes seems to not help at all.
More boxes should increase how many frames you can craft before you run out. More time crafting and less time sleeping means more xp
What do i do with all these adaptive frames now
can someone send me a topographic, i cant find this, either its time of day or idk its impossible
Isnt the Xp about the same for both outposts? What makes the cobalt one better other than less sleep
Time goes by faster on Venus. It's more efficient.
The game starts running more poorly if you have a lot of manual saves.
People are saying that game stutters if you have 10k+ units in your storage
@@BioTheHumanit would appear that way, I haven't really had any crashes outside of very heavy gun/ship battles but when I had 20k on me last night it crashed like 3 times by the time I could sell it all lol
Even faster if you have the ability to play the PC gamepass version with mouse and keyboard. You can hover your cursor over the quantity selector and the item to craft. Then just spam left click and E until all your resources are used up. Just make sure to scroll through the crafting list until the item you want to craft is the first item on the list.
Can you just sleep on your ship? Thanks in advance
Brilliant! Thank you 👍
is this worse than bessel iiib ?
what's the point force leveling like this?
Skills. Achievements. Fun.
I was was thinking of doing this but am also enjoying the game as it is and things like these will kill my time spent on starfeild
100%
You play your game, we’ll play ours.
How long do you need to sleep on Venus for the storage to get full
Depends on how many storage containers you have.
Question: What Level should I start doing this process? I have just started and I'm at Level 5 is there any reason why I can't start doing this now?
As soon as you can get outpost engineering skill. I think you need at least 6 levels all spent on science tree to get that and enough credits for materials.
Thanks 👍@@lamport_
Do it once you completed the game and all other factions missions no point in doing it before hamd
Is this patched or does it still work?
why would it get patched? its a single player game..
@@swaee8667because other Bethesda made single player games like Skyrim and flFallout have patched out exploits before???
How long did it take to get all the points into your skill tree to achieve this?
A long time lol. I have 3 days play time, pushing 4 and I’m only level 47.
The grind is gross.
Dang I already have all of this ready to go.
Quick Question: Is all my research lab info gone once I NG+ ?
No, that carries over. Just like all earned skills
@@RBishop85 thank you !!!!! now I think Im ready to pull the trigger on this NG+
What is NG+?
@@garyphillips6949 New Game Plus
I might actually do this before heading on to new game plus. Probably sell or get rid of all my cargo first?
You legend, thanks Maka
How can you easily get rid of adaptive frames when encumbered?
Drop them on the ground
Space littering: inventory, resources, drop.
Failing that run to your ship with them whilst encumbered (don't worry your health will go low but you cant die. Unless you get shot whilst running) then travel to any vendor and keep selling them to make money
