Traditional docuseries focus on an issue and a region where the film takes place. Often, the profits stay with the investors, talent, lawyers, distributors and others. Rarely are the profits shared in a meaningful way with locals or communities. We are changing that.
What if a documentary was more than telling a story but educating humanity about all the wonders of a certain region and people?
MoveMe South Africa is the first project of MoveMe Studio where Briana will be guided by the Shangaan Royal Family, communities of Bushbuckridge and local business leaders on a journey that explores the history and heritage of the area, the local justice system, community-based development initiatives, environmental conservation efforts and so much more.
The docuseries will be interwoven with showcases of local cultural talent and highlight the value of the one-of-a-kind biodiversity within Kruger National Park and surrounding area.
Each topic in the pilot can eventually become its own show, driving revenue and profits for the people and region. We have filmed the pilot episode and the series production will continue in early 2022.
