Honestly I think Japan and the other Eastern Region will play gardevoir more and the rogue deck when compared to NA and EU. Im feeling like Im going to see a lot of raging bolt and zard in na. Just because a lot of NA player really like the deck. But overall your explaination and reason seems to be right and I can agree with it. Cant wait to see how wolrds turn out to be.

I disagree that Dragapult, specifically Xatupult, has a bad/awkward Drago MU. Yes, you have to survive the Kyurem threat. When you survive that threat, you get to take a 4 prize turn and disrup them with Unfair Stamp.
The deck also LOVES night streacher and Fez.
Not saying it's gonna win worlds, but I'll make the call that Xatupult will be the highest placing pult.

I think whenever lax is hyped it does badly. I remember it being hype before EUIC and it flopped. Azul won in sweden with the deck when no one expected it.

Cannot believe banette got a shout-out here unfortunately it just takes a tough matchup into drago, bolt and miradon even with the item lock.
no it has a fine drago and miraidon, bolt is manageable depending on setup. the deck is only an item lock deck early and pivots to tank and heal late, which is a very effective strategy against miraidon, preventing an early hands and then sweeping their board with double Dori gardy ex. into drago and unfair stamp into gardy ex is crippling if they legacy starred for setup, and their Dragapult attacks just get munkid back. early item lock builds damage to KO the drago aswell as slowing setup. a keen eye on bolts resources can completely lock them out of the game with late item lock, but an early lock can allow for you to gardy ex kill their ogerpons following an unfair stamp.

Hawlucha plus attacking with Dragapult can knock out two 70 hp charmanders, etc., making it hard for your opponent to catch up.

@@ldfptcg2022 The Raging bolt list you showed had 1 boss and prime catcher. I don't recall Iron bundle, but even so with Iron bundle you can control which prizes are taken if you bench a one prizer
@Shadow01974 most bolt lists have 5 gust cards. 1 Boss, 1 Prime Catcher, and 3 Pokemon Catchers.
Sometimes they add bundle as a 6th gust option. Noivern is pretty bad in regi. Rad zard is a better win con for regi
