7 Metrics You Should Be Tracking on Facebook: ua-cam.com/video/dssGTv5AAeY/v-deo.html
This is indeed a super informative video. I have gone through and practiced them, but I'm not being able to find website purchase metrics, Is this gone away?
This was great! I don't see enough people sharing what metrics are important and how to analyze them, let alone how to create reports! I will say that these are more "custom views" inside your Ads Manager rather than reports, but still helpful nonetheless! ROAS, CPR, CTR, and CPM are the top 4 metrics I always pay attention to. Everything else is usually secondary.
What do you use for reporting for ads, Mei?
Love laying down the foundational basics. Anyone who watches this and gets familiar with these metrics will INSTANTLY become a better Facebook advertiser.
Absolutely! Thanks for serving this community, Bond! -Mitch
@@SocialMediaExaminer you guys are the greatest. Thanks for the opportunity.

Hey Amanda,
The first report, includes purchases made from customers who visited your site through the ad (If I understood it correctly).
As you go into the 2nd part of the video (leads report) you add some additional elements such as the registrations/leads but you move those so that they are placed in the beginning of the columns, after those elements you have the website purchases made. Does this 2nd report mean that the purchases made came through the people who signed up/registered in the first place? Or does the website purchases (in the leads report) include customers who did or didnt sign up?
This is just awesome! You really helped me out with understanding how to use my Ads Manager and make sense out of everything I have been doing. A BIG thank you!
Wahoo! So glad to hear that it helped.
very nice also impressed by your style of presenting
Thank you, Praveen. Very kind of you!
Thanks for sharing such informative reports to help , rather than do by ourselves to create ...many thanks

-Megan🤓
amazing...
great useful content
This was super helpful, thank you! However, as someone mentioned, I'd also say these are more of "custom views" rather than reports. Do you have a video on how you do reports?
Alejandra, great distinction between the custom views versus reports! I primarily automate the reporting aspect for my clients using Zapier and Google Sheets. The only thing I manually add is the total ad spend for every different entry point.
This is because my clients don't actually care about the ad-level metrics - those are only for me to make media buying decisions on. They only care about ROAS and results. So the reports I provide them with automatically pull in those metrics each week.
Great content 👍
Thank you
Thank you for the kind words, YaSsine!! -Megan🤓
Thanks for watching, YaSsine.
Excellent Amanda did you ever answer my question from the last video? I will ask again Do these metrics also apply to boosted posts? Thanks for your excellent videos.
Hi, Chris. Yes she did. Here is Bond's response: "Yes. However, you'll want to be cautious when boosting. Boosts typically are done without much thought or strategy behind them. Give this post a read: theadstrategist.com/facebook-advertising-strategy"
Great Video! What's the reason you don't track "uniques" and prefer "general"? Clicks and not just Outbound Clicks, ATC and not Unique ATCs or IC instead of UIC or PUR instead of UPUR etc? Doesn't that dilute your results with lots of actions that don't add to the KPI-Funnel?
My niche is the course creator and infopreneur audience. We typically don't need to be as granular as this with our metric tracking. In fact, if you go for overall vs unique, you can see how your sales process is working from a macro view.
The metrics that you mentioned are also important (especially for high-traffic advertisers and e-comm) so they have their place-just not in this introductory video.
Does that make sense?
oh am not having words to say for this content ........ damn awesome
Glad you found value in it! -Jen
Whoop whoop! I'll take the compliment. 💪
Great content! What KPI do you think is the most important when running a Facebook ad?
Hi Aaron- It depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If click throughs to a lead page is it, look at that. If sales is it, look at conversions, etc. It's all very individual - start with the end in mind when putting together your ad STRATEGY. -Megan🤓
In the comment below = You replied saying "niche is the course creator and infopreneur audience". So what what are you using it for, are you sending them to a landing page and collecting leads? Or are you sending traffic to a website what is a conversion in this case?
Thanks
If you have troubles with your Feedback score just use Feedproctector.
Is it possible to make a report from one single ad account but only few selected campaigns, for example if a had run 10 campaigns and I just want to make a report for 3 of them? Thanks.
Thank for this. But for some reason in my ads manager, I don't see the "report" button to share.
Reports should be on the right-hand side of the Ads Manager screen. Under the tabs for Campaign, Ad Sets, Ads. Click on "Reports" and then the option listed is: Share Link...
It is very useful video and I have a question should I use these reports in every campaign I create ?
It definitely depends on the goals and objectives you set out to achieve with your ads.
can i do that changes in running campaigns ????cuz sometimes when u do changes in active campaigns pixel got itself errored
Yes, this only updates the view of Ads Manager, not the campaigns themselves.
Seems like there have been a lot of changes in categories since this video was posted only a couple months ago. could we get an updated version of this?
Hey Bryan-
Thanks for the feedback! We are always adding new videos.

The Facebook interface may have updated by the metrics used are evergreen.
Great video... Why I do not see “website purchase” on my column list?
Are you adding it in manually like I show in the video? It's not going to appear unless you tell it to show up.
It’s not there period to select
