Amazing work! Great graphics and examples making the concept so easy. Thank you very very much Dr. Randy. The Best Biostatistics & Behavioral Science Channel for USMLE.
Dr. Neil, you are awesome! I am so glad I discovered your channel as I am getting ready for my step 1 exam this summer. I was wondering if you were or had made a video on pediatric brain tumors? I loved your adult one and couldn't find the pediatric counterpart. Additionally, if you have any material on arrhythmias and antiarrhythmic drugs that would be extremely helpful. You are the GOAT
Hi, Thanks for the great explanation. Wondering if you could make a video explaining the difference between Attributable Risk and Attributable Risk percent and when to calculate each value? Thanks in advance.
thank you so much sir. all your videos are amazing. can you please make a video on bradford hill criteria as well (and just a request sir, if possible can you make this video before 1st march. i have my exam on 1st. I will be really thankful if you would.)
Your videos are really helpful. Specially with biostates. Thank you very much for making them. Are you planning to post about oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes anytime sooner, please?
from first aid 2021 Bradford Hill criteria A group of principles that provide limited support for establishing evidence of a causal relationship between presumed cause and effect. Strength Association does not imply causation, but the stronger the association, the more evidence for causation. Consistency Repeated observations of the findings in multiple distinct samples. Specificity The more specific the presumed cause is to the effect, the stronger the evidence for causation. Temporality The presumed cause precedes the effect by an expected amount of time. Biological gradient Greater effect observed with greater exposure to the presumed cause (dose-response relationship). Plausibility A conceivable mechanism exists by which the cause may lead to the effect. Coherence The presumed cause and effect do not conflict with existing scientific consensus. Experiment Empirical evidence supporting the presumed cause and effect (eg, animal studies, in vitro studies). Analogy The presumed cause and effect are comparable to a similar, established cause and effect.
I like the soothing music at the end with coastline in view. Thanks Dr. Neil, for such amazing and informative videos. You are a gem 💎. P.S. Do share the link for the music :p

I had a question on my step 1 test with an expansive graph and I really had issues deciding between 2 answers: (I’ll write a similar example of what I can remember) Where should the government invest $? a- Hiring more nurses/getting more primary care professionals (I thought this was a good answer since it could help with the low life expectancy) B- Hire/invest more on kindergarten teachers and education (I chose this one since the infant population was so high) Again, don’t know if I this was the right answer.
You never should hire more teachers man, answer would be option a. The school system is turning into garbage and parents need to be homeschooling so never get more profs, I hope you passed though!
I have a question - why it is not birth control measure? It is classic picture for country with birth control. Like China. One baby per family, well they were doing ultrasound to find out the gender and after termination of pregnancy if it is a girl( sad situation). But I see why work migration is the right one but birth control is quite good answer too.
Hi Dr. Neil! How can I your one page laminated notes from all your videos!? You've mentioned posting them on a web site but I cannot find them! Thanks so much!!!
