I love these Tesla tutorials even though I don’t own one because I am 13 but hey if I do ever own one I will be a pro with it because I watched Everyday Chris’s Tesla Tutorials 😂.
Woohoo!
Yoo me too, watching to help my mum who previously owned a car for 10 years
10 years old.
Literally relatable,same thing here! 😂
Keep your head down and grind. The work you do in your teens can set you up for the future. When I was 16 and got my first car I thought I might be able to afford a tesla by the time I was 30. Mine comes in tomorrow. I’m 22.
I watched a lot of videos on driving a Tesla for the first time. Your video is by far the best in terms of presentation and delivering clear and concise directions and instructions. Thank you!
Thank you!!
You legit help me so much, I've had my Tesla over a month now and don't know what I'd do without your amazing videos. Thank you so much, you rock Chris!
Woohoo I’ll keep posting more
@@EverydayChris you shouldn’t restart the screen whilst you drive as it wont reboot until you leave the car but great vid
@@EverydayChris Can you do one of these vids for the Model X? Please I will be taking delivery of my Model X soon and I have no idea on how to drive it.
thanks for teaching me! im getting my tesla tomorrow and i wanted to know everything about it before i drive it.
Thank you for this video because it made me more confident about welcoming my tesla in December! The footage is cleared and easy to understand!
I am normally not leave a comment on youtube, but I would like to say "Thank you very much for these tutorials" because of your video, It helped me gain more confident on driving my new Tesla!
Yay
I had to move my husband’s Tesla because he was traveling. Although my son tried to explain to me how to start and move it “in less than 20 seconds”, the day before, I forgot everything he had told me. I was terrified to crash the car and hit the garage door. Also, I thought if I step on the gas pedal, It was going to fly all the way across the street😅😂 Thanks to you sir, I did it without any problem. God bless you!!🙏🙏🙏🌸😊
wow. i really appreciate it! Glad to help people like you!
Chris, thanks a tonne dude! My wife was like “make sure you read the manual page to page” and here you gave me a spark notes version! Picking up my m3 tomorrow and I feel prepared! Big thanks!
Hahaha no problem!
Our Tesla Model Y is due in December. Your tutorials will be the first thing I look at.
Thanks
Bob
Thanks bob!
Great video! Thanks for making these tutorials 😀
I just got a model y and I didn’t know how to control nothing until I watched this video. Thank you so much.❤❤❤
I remember driving a Tesla for the first time in 2017. Before that, I was always a die hard manual driver lol But the second I drove the Tesla (and had a little fun with it) .. I fell in love.
One day hoping to buy one .. when I can afford one :(
One day! Keep grinding!
I've wanted a tesla since i was 13, and promised myself I'd get one as soon as I can affort it, without caring about savings. Took delivery of my model 3 yesterday. Found it at a GREAT price on the used tesla inventory
@@arrowtlg2646 My man .. I’m jelly. How did you do it?
@@PeaceNinja007 Became a software engineer for the sole purpose of owning a tesla in my early 20's :)
@@arrowtlg2646 WoW that’s cool .. congrats... I should’ve done the same but i made stupid $$ decisions lol
Appreciate this video… we’re renting a Tesla this weekend and although we’re already familiar with EVs, we haven’t driven a Tesla before and wanted to make sure we knew all the quirks before we’re trying to figure stuff out after two flights in a new city. 🤣
Seriously I wouldn’t know how to get out the lot! Now I’m nervous driving from dealer 30 miles home in L.A. traffic😅
@@othersbyuri Same! I decided to rent from Hertz and I'm like how do I drive?
Haha making a new video on hertz rental too
@@thehypnoticgamer7746 😀Question, how do you use the supercharger when it's a rental? I'm renting one in a couple days to see if EV is for me, just curious. Thanks!!
@@cdf8821 Renting one tomorrow. I believe that its the same process. You just tap on the handle of the charger itself or open the charge port from the touchscreen and it automatically bills to Hertz at the end of the period from when you first started renting. So you should see a bill for the total charging sessions either when you drop off the car or a few days after I believe.
Thank you! Will be driving a Tesla for the first time next week and this was great!! ❤
I may be living in a country with a low average income, but I swear I dont care what everyone says, Imma get a tesla model 3 one day
Very useful new owner's tips. Going to pick up my M3 this weekend so definitely being armed with this knowledge will help. Thanks dude!
Just ordered and glad I came across your video as this is the tesla for dummies I needed! :) Thank you!
Your videos are great! Appreciate the tips, tricks and learnings that you share.
Thanks Patrick! More to come!
Useful information, thank you 😊
I finally bought the Garage Opener from Tesla and now I wish I'd bought it sooner. Tesla Mobile Service installed it and set it up. Door opens and closes automatically now based on my gps location. Super convenient.
Yeah pretty awesome
Your videos are so helpful. I have been driving my new Tesla Model 3 for 2 weeks and I love it but I reacted to different thins even though I test drive twice before I bought the car. Lol. There are times, I freak out, not knowing what to do but your video helps me. It is so nice having a car.
haha yay thank you
Thanks for the video Chris, helped out alot! Im over here in the san fernando valley! Just ordered the MYP after the recent price cuts! excited to get it!
Woohoo! My cousins live in porter ranch so I’m always there.
Awesome review, thank you! I get mine on Wednesday. Excited! Thank you for being so thorough and positive!
Thanks Kathleen!
Currently learning to drive so in a few years or so hope to drive one of these!
Thanks. I did discover a few things I haven't understood yet ( I have had my Y for 3 days so far). Very Helpful,
Very good tutorial, i would recommend this to anyone that never been in a tesla
This helped out so much thank you!
One great thing I learned was that "You don't have to keep the key card there" (behind cup holder) after it's started!! Didn't know that! Was even thinking I should get something to hold it in place better... well duh, I found some place... my pocket/wallet!
This video is genuinely an excellent easy to understand a tutorial. Thanks for the great work and assistance!
Wow thanks!
@@EverydayChris Can you do one of these vids for the Model X? Please I will be taking delivery of my Model X soon and I have no idea on how to drive it.
I had a demo drive recently and watched this video before. It helped me be prepared. Thanks
Glad it helped!
Just got my Model Y this week. Thanks for all of your advice- everything has been spot on; is there any way for the cord (if you plug in the 12v) to come out of the central console without getting crushed by the armrest?
Not really theres a slight gap so it does woek
@@EverydayChris Can you do one of these vids for the Model X? Please I will be taking delivery of my Model X soon and I have no idea on how to drive it.
getting my new 2022 Tesla model 3 next week. thanks for all these advises chris!
Woohoo!! No problem!
Thanks for this video! I ordered a Model 3 a couple of weeks ago. I cannot wait to get this cool car gadget thing-a-ma-jig!
Woohoo
I’m about to get a Tesla hence watching this video which was super helpful by the way and what I’ve been looking for and I’m Techy. Anyways I would recommend this re garage opener
Step 1
My Q garage Hub for 19 bucks (also compatible with other brands) this modernises your garage opener if you don’t already have an existing MyQ garage or Wi-Fi smart opener. If you do then you can pair to IFTTT directly if supported via the manufacturer
Step 2
Pair MyQ with IFTTT and it has geographical triggers for arrival and departure boom you have that automation for only 20 bucks you even set it to alert you when you enter or leave your geo zone while you’re ensuring it works
Your welcome
Interesting I’ve seen it before but never tried it
@@EverydayChris I’ve been using that automation for years in my Mercedes’ and it’s free if you already have a MyQ garage
Would you recommend changing the driving settings when renting a Tesla from someone? I’ve never driven a Tesla and I’m slightly nervous 😅
Thank you so much! This video was a life saver!!
Wow, this video was so well done! And so informative as well! Will definitely watch more of these tutorials when I’m closer to getting my Tesla, so thank you Chris for all the lovely insight!
Awsome! Thank you!

Very useful tips! Try a demo drive this week, wondering if any of you guys found the interior rear view mirror so small (and dark) ?
Wow, 1st video of yours I’ve watched. Terrific info. My 1st Tesla is arriving in September 2022. It’s hard to wait! Lots of good QUICK tips , simple and to the point!
That off white tray organizer is nice. I think it would make it much easier to see what you are looking for. What are your thoughts on window tinting and protective wrap on front of car to protect from rock chips etc
Thanks bruce! Check out my other videos as I talk about all that! But Yes and yes. If not a full wrap, definitely a full front wrap! And tinting is a must as well!
Hey mate ! Just came across your channel, awesome work ! Loving the videos.
Thanks so much Ryan!
Your videos are way better then 100s I seen, you explained it in such non technical ways
Aww thanks Jackie!
Thank you I learned sm from all of youre videos
So i'm renting a Model 3 for upcoming trip, since i dont own the car or wont have a Tesla account or app, how does one pay for charging?
Thanks! (We lease out one of our two Tesla Model 3s and always recommend they watch your excellent intro video BEFORE they lease our car!)
Wow thanks so much for the support!! Appreciate you!
Curious can you or do you monitor if they super charge?
Great video, big help. Getting my Tesla Y Performance in 3 days, can hardly wait. Cheers
Lucky! Have fun!
Can we charge Tesla either a Flo charger or?
I just have my garage and gate opener remotes on my key chain. It's always handy to be able to open those gates even when you're not driving.
I got mine in the summer but I still have to learn things 😂 thanks For this
Great video. I am sure I will refer to this video several times when I get my new 2023 model Y long range vehicle in a week or two
Take care.
One of the best Tesla channel hands down. A few that I follow.
Wow I’m honored
I pick mine up Saturday. This is helpful.

Yayyy
Very useful video!
I work for a delivery company and they use nothing but tesla cars..i love it!
im getting a tesla model 3 performance in 2 weeks and im so excited
A built-in _Driver Reflex Training tutorial,_ to develop good driver reflexes, is a must. I tried FSD on a rental after watching only a few UA-cam tutorials, and was frightened badly several times. Especially when alarm type chimes started repeatedly *blaring* without context. (The escalating alarms should be alternated with a voice notification and suggestion.)
Another scare occurred in a -quaint- bizarre New England "traffic -circle- square" (which surrounded a building!) when the car accelerated hard when it should have maintained speed. I wasn't prepared *at a reflex level* on how to override smoothly, or how to report such a dangerous behavior.
Thanks for the tips.
My husband has a Tesla and we had to move it out of the garage and use it when he had to have surgery and couldn’t drive. You Tube saved our bacon (sons and mine). Even if you think you’ll never have to drive one -- if there’s one in the family it’s a good idea to have basic competence with it. It wasn’t a joy to learn something so different at an anxious moment in life.
Nice!! Glad it helped!!
Just picked up a tesla and your video provided me more info than the dealership 😂😂😂 amazing job bro!
Haha thanks
Good video man! Been watching your vids to get ready for my M3. Whenever it gets a real delivery date 😂
Hahaha everything is sold out! Thanks for the support bro!
I felt this comment on a spiritual level 😂 any word on your date? I just ordered too!
@@Aj808s haha glad you feel my pain. I ordered early June and dates keep changing. Sad part is I got appprved for a loan through Tesla and it only last 60 days. And at this rate it looks like it’ll expire before my delivery date. I’m hoping I can get it extended really don’t want to apply again and have another hard pull on my credit. Really feel like this is the worse car buying experience I’ve ever had. I’m at the point I don’t even look on the website anymore. I’m almost not caring about it anymore. I hope your experience is better!
@@RetroExhibitCollective I hope you are able to extend! I really was hoping delivery wouldn’t be such a hassle with the delivery windows not being as bad at the time of our purchases. I ordered August 1, and it’s been a steady date, and then once the earliest date comes, it moves up again. Like they’re really winging it with the estimates lol. Hopefully it stops moving around and just lands on a day already.
Wow, same I order it august 20 and apply the loan within the same day. I didn’t know the loan only last for 60 days, have you successfully extended it ? My estimated date started at Late November and early December, but it was push early twice for some reason. Now it is sitting at late October and early November.
Great Vid I'll be getting my model 3 in the summer!
Woohoo congrats
Thank you, i have question, i want to buy tesla model 3 (150.000 km used ) is it ok in your opinion? I have to pay for change somethings? Or no ?
80 k miles.. So only 20k or 40 k left on the HV battery. Any way to test the battery health before purchase?
Thank you for helping me not look like an idiot on my first model 3 test drive
Woohoo glad it helped
Where did you get your dash board wrap? I’m looking for a place to wrap it for me in OC? Thanks
Check for my accessories video! It’s in there!
Chris, just got my model y. Been getting some motion sickness. Any advice? Change to chill mode? Drive slow?
Chill mode. Ease accelerator use. Creep mode instead of hold. Feather the accelerator!
Super Helpful! thanks a bunch Chris. you deserve to have more subscribers! make the channel grow.
Thank you doctor !
Good video men , thank you for information and I watch your video from Canada 😁👍
Canada aye??! Welcome!
Hey Chris
New to your channel.
I had drive Tesla this week. Was cool. And fun. Very smooth
Thanks and welcome
This is so helpful
So the controls are exactly the same as my Mercedes❤️ I feel a lot better about it now lol, Thank you!
Yeah teslas actually came from Mercedes parts in the beginning!
Sounds pretty cool to own one, here in Chile we have electric cars from other companies ...but Tesla hasn't arrived yet ...and seems like tej better deal for the money
Good video. Hope you get the chance to do one for the Highlander with its control changes.
Nice video, thank you!
Thank you!
I've booked a model y testdrive for over 2 weeks 😀 I'm very curious to it. Currently driving a Ford Focus from the year 2000, is also nice, but i'm missing all the luxury driving assistance gimmicks, and the safety. My Focus doesn't even have air conditioning which was really horrible last summer when i was suffering from post-covid stuff.
Haha

15:34 I don't get this about the no center organization tray thing. Don't most people clip their garage door opener to their sun visor?
My used 2018 came with homelink :)
Putting on decent attire, especially for a professional company like Tesla. I would think would be required instead of a a tank job
