No actually, in Multiverse of madness, i belive we see The Living Tribunal, which if you have or have not read the comics, is the 2nd most Powerful BEING of all time in the comics
Watching Gorr's face turn from having no life behind his eyes to remembering himself back then definitely brought out a tear. For a second I emphasized because I remember what it was like being bent on revenge. I forgot who I was, and why I was ever like that. I forgot what I was missing, and how blind I had become. When everything felt hopeless I thought to myself what was the point? And I became bitter and out of touch. All I seek is redemption, love, reclamation, and forgiveness in myself. But I have a long way to go.
@@1991mikerisumfeldt Yeah don't worry revenge is actually really sweet, it's honestly really awesome when done right and can be the most fulfilling things you can do, especially as a male. The problem is that you have to PLAN and the DO the revenge, it can't be mindless actions for lashing out. Otherwise you get lost in the sauce, and then it isn't actually revenge at all. Whoever tormented the original poster won, they won so completely it took over their life. The is the opposite of revenge, it's just continuously being a victim. OP never truly got their revenge. I'll teach the proper steps: 1) *Identify the Cause* - WHY do you need revenge? Revenge is 100% always retaliation, never an opening aggressive act. Bugs Bunny was the MASTER of revenge, and you know he never did anything until someone hurts him and he says "You know.... this means war". Same to you, this is only for when people have done something to you directly with them knowing they did it to you. They deserve revenge! Recognize they they had the choice to NOT do this thing to you, and decided YOUR SUFFERING was LESS important than THEIR GAIN. They shouldn't have done that to begin with. Now you just have to make sure you know everything they did, this way you can formulate a proper response. If you don't know, you can fall into the trap of not being satisfied with your revenge due to not indulging enough. They did this first, now it's time to retaliate. 2) *Plan your Actions* - If you still want to be socially active with the person, then you plan your revenge to make sure they don't know it's you. If you wish to send a message, you have to make sure they know it's from you but without you suffering social consequences from others. Do you plan on causing physical harm? There should be no "accidents" in your plan, or "mistakes". You are delivering precise suffering to someone, plan it, don't wing it. Otherwise you might end up with egg on your face if you don't plan on the actions correctly. This also includes how far you will go. Always plan how far you will go, and then plan on stopping there. Understand WHY you are stopping there, if not you may have to pull plans back, or do even more. In order to be satisfied with revenge, it should be at LEAST about 25% more severe than the action that was done against you, up to double what they did. This way you know that you not only balanced the scales, but it was worth doing it due to you now having MORE than the person did at the start. This is key, you have to do more than what they did to you. 3) *Take Responsibility and Go All In* - There is no half-way for revenge. Once you commit, commit. You're an adult, you are smart, you have planned this action against someone who has wronged you and got away with it. Now it is time to deliver revenge. Do the thing, and don't back out halfway or you're going to regret it thinking "what-if"? You take the burden and responsibility of doing this action to it's complete, planned end. "He who dares, wins" is the motto of many successful people for a reason. 4) *Reflect and Indulge* - You won, you are actually better than that person. If they were better than you, they wouldn't have done that thing to you to begin with. If they were better than you, they wouldn't have done something to you. If they were better than you, your revenge would not have worked. They thought they could wrong you, but they can't. Justice has not only been served, it is now understood on a new level for you. They did something to you, then they suffered the consequences. People who don't learn, are just bound to do the exact same thing to someone else or worse, escalate. Then also reflect on how you'd improve in case this happens again. Always learn from your experiences, even if everything goes well. OP didn't follow the steps. They didn't fully understand the wrongdoing, so they acted out of instinct. Then they suffered the consequences of their actions, because they didn't think it out fully. Then they didn't go all the way properly since they didn't know were that was, and either didn't take enough or got lost in the sauce. This is what happens when you aren't responsible with revenge, as it is serious and needs careful planning. Revenge is so fucking good in the end. Do it, or you'll likely be a victim full of regrets. Don't let others do ill to you without consequences. Jesus taught us to treat others as we wanted to be treated after all, you're just the other side of that coming back at that person and showing them it's REAL.
@@DamienDarkside You sound very young from how you write, and if so then you have time to learn this and experience why it matters - move on from the past so you can focus on your present and your future.
You're not alone my friend. I at times wanted revenge on the people who broke my heart everyday when I go into work I keep hoping for a better day and all I get is a broken heart in return most of the time I'm just angry and I have this sudden urge to want to hurt someone but I choose not to because somebody is preventing me from doing this and I believe that it is God and I believe he is telling my conscience to never succumb to evil. I even confess then I fought against my father and he fought back all I did was break our hearts because of all the times that he has punished me all the times he has disciplined me and even over disciplined to me at times most the time it filled his heart with regret and to this day he thinks I have never apologized him for it but the truth is there are times I wanted to fight him to the point where he was so afraid of me but I couldn't do it because he has so much to live for and now look at him he found God he became a member of a non-denominational church but he still has a long way to go because despite the fact that he has found God he is still a very judgemental man because of his personal hatred towards gay people something that he doesn't want to admit and he also chose to push himself away from my godfather. Regardless of how it is said what my father is missing is 5 Decades of good friendship he may have his other friends he's known since he was a kid but he's missing his best friend because from what I understood your best friend is your brother for your sister for life. I hope that my father will try his best to talk to my godfather even if I have to convince him to talk to him tomorrow on Christmas the point is we need each other more than ever in regardless of how angry my father gets we lost a lot of people since the covid-19 pandemic and we are losing hundreds to thousands because of the war with Russia. So you see my friend we need everybody more than ever it's like the old saying I need you more than you need me but it should rightfully mean we need all of you more than you need us. I believe that there is still a sense of hope I still believe in God regardless of how cruel the world is we must remember that we are not alone and though the days seem long and the road may be longer but with the aid of God and good people in our lives the road becomes shorter and life becomes more simpler. If you don't mind me saying so I would like to pray for you I admit that I'm not a good Christian because I still have sins I got an answer for but I'm hoping that God will forgive me and I hope to become a better person in life but the prayer I want to make for you is simple. How was he ever the villain? There's clearly a universal being, and there are "gods" that make a mockery. his job as the good guy was to kill the "gods".
they probably meant "antagonist" not villain. villain implies that he is inherently evil, while antagonist is just someone who opposes the main character

Exactly. Instead of a stupid road trip story, we could have had a deep, actionnpacked film about accepting loss and grieving and moving on. Thor and Jane vs Gorr and his daughter. But nooo, instead Taika gave us screaming goats, naked Thor, and jealous axes.
I dont know why people enjoyed ragnarok back in the day. Same situation there, tons of shitty jokes, barely flashed out story, main character seems powerless and a joke for most of the movie. Glad i torrented both movies, because i still feel robed
These are comic book movies and they're supposed to be entertaining. Not all of these movies can be serious all of the time. Nor should they be. They are supposed to be escapism. We need all the humor we can get in this humorless world we're all having to live in. Maybe someone needs to release the director's cut like how they did with Justice league. People who had too high of expectations almost deserved to be disappointed. Not all MCU movies can be endgame.
@@Lidoe that is very true however the really serious ones don't make the money that they should. That's why they have to go for the entertainment Factor. And it's true they're also trying to bring women into enjoying the MCU. There are a lot of women if you say it's a comic book movie they're not interested. They're just trying to be inclusive.
I know this movie has its problems but losing Jane just breaks my heart, Thor lost more people than Wanda did, he lost his whole family, his friends from Asgard, his whole planet, half his people, and half his avenger friends, and now Jane, and he just got the chance to fall in love with her all over again.
They should have had Thor arriving, Gorr already made his wish, they had this exchange, but then they realize Gorr wished for his daughter back the whole time.
I love how this all plays out. The layers to this scene and how it pays off all of the movies themes are freakin immaculate. I especially love that Gorr (wordlessly) comes to understand that Thor truly is a virtuous god because of how much he loves and cares for a mortal woman. You can see his entire worldview and view of his own mission get blown wide open. Gorr believes the Gods are incapable of love, and then he sees Thor commit to it.
That's the most complete victory over a villain ever depicted in the MCU. The fact that he was able to convince Gorr to not take the path of vengeance, and to fight for love, means that Thor provided a message that could extend far beyond just this battle, to many more. It's like a Cosmic battle between Gods, and the God of love won.
ETERNITY is so powerful it can curbstomp ALL THE CELESTIAL SIMULTANESOUSLY, including KANG, THANOS, INFINITY GAUNTLET and ALL THE TIMELINES and the OMNIVERSE. ETERNITY is SOOOO POWERFUL it might even be able to bring the MCU back from the dead.
Of course. Eternity is the embodiment of a present multiverse. In fact, the 'first' iteration of Eternity, the First Firmament, was the one who created the Celestials, their own 'rebel children'.
Thor, Zeus and Valkyrie sure know about Eternity, and Thor could have reached the place ever since he got Stormbreak, since it's the only key he needs. Would have been convenient to use after thanos wiped away half of existence!
Bro Bale is outclassing all mid and low level actors like the one playing Thor with ease! There are levels and I'm happy Bale is showing what a masterclass actor he is.
I thought Bale was an extremely weak villain and the worst part of this movie😒He was getting thrown around like a ragdoll in his " toga",and not very intimidating in my opinion. The kids going into battle also sucked🙄..I did like Thor's opening battle scene and the one in Olympus. Actually i thought the coolest thing in the movie was ( lady) Thor's hammer reforming itself after separating into pieces and wiping out the monsters attacking that village 😮Loved the metallic sound of the pieces rapidly flying back piece by piece reforming the hammer🤘🤨.. now that was pretty cool. I hope the next one will have the same 300 style visuals ( like opening of Ragnarok, with the Dragon ) ..and would be cool if he battles Hercules, then they end up joining together to fight some demons or dragons or some other Gods. (maybe some comedy..ok..but mostly action/battles) and just generally more serious tone.Hercules was always the hero in other movies and i would want him to be a hero with Thor as well💪🤨.. and please let " Lady Thor " stay in Valhala guiding them from there🙄... the " serious tone could come from Gorrs daughter being killed and Thor seeking revenge.( that should tone down the jokes🙄)
Based on this scene Thor: Love And Thunder doesn't seem as bad as people said it was. I skipped it, but now I've got a good feeling about this movie, so I'm going to go watch it now.
Christian Bale's back was nearly broken from carrying this whole movie. They made Natalie Portman a better Thor than Thor, and seemed to turn the movie into a spoof. Christian Bale really made what could have been a throwaway part into something due to this acting.
This movie makes me sad. Because the pieces were there. Such a clear parallel between Gorr and Thor and losing people they care about. This and that deleted Zeus scene. So sad that Taika had to Waititi all over the film.
I haven’t seen this movie, only clips. But Christian Bale just kills it. For a villain he’s not someone that I just can’t stand and just want to see him meet his end.
I didn’t look at the cast before watching this movie so I had no idea who played Gorr and you can’t really tell throughout most of the movie but when his yellow eyes start to fade away, you can see Christian Bale
Loved this movie, not as much as Ragnarok but I still had a great time and gorr was amazing. Just wish he had more screen time and less “sweet child o mine”
The design of Eternity is so awesome, I knew there was no way anyone involved with the movie was responsible for it lol. Good translation of Ditko’s art though.
Indeed, its not the fault of the actors that the storyline and script should have been trashed. This movie was a pitiful excuse of a continued saga and completely revolved around kissing up to Natalie Portman for being there.
Gorr wasn't done right in Thor 4, that Taika Wytitty guy should've been smarter and used Gorr's (Not actual) pappy Desak instead cuz his origin was more like what Takia did for M.C.U.'s Gorr and Desak was actually a guy who SHOULD BE DONE with makeup & whatnot. His costume was also more colorful, with ACTUALLY fitted with Taika's take on Thor"s chunck of M.C.U. now
It's kinda funny that watching this scene out of context, without watching everything before this, is actually better than seeing this after getting through most of the movie. This "win" that Thor got is just completely unearned.

I'll teach the proper steps:
1) *Identify the Cause* - WHY do you need revenge?
Dear patient and Heavenly Father I pray that you watch over this person because this person has been through so much I want you to protect this very soul my Lord I asked you Almighty Lord to absolve this person of their sins can I ask you about my Lord to wish this person and their family a Merry Christmas because this is more than a time for presents this is the most important day of Our Lives because this was the birthday of our Lord Jesus because another birthday for our lord Jesus is another day of Hope. I wish Almighty Lord that you give this person peace show passion and mercy to this person so that there will be passion and mercy passed on to others help this person to find you I ask you Almighty Lord to deliver this person from evil deliver this person from Darkness into light I pray that you heal this person my Lord if you answer my prayer can you save this person can we hope that others will be healed and saved and brought to your presence and in Hope to be in your kingdom where there is no more pain no more suffering no more regrets but Eternal peace in your kingdom such a beautiful kingdom that Reigns Supreme by you the almighty father the almighty Lord the almighty creator the father of your son Lord Jesus. In Jesus mighty name I pray amen. I hope that this prayer will help you and I wish you a Merry Christmas to you and your family and your friends
Couldn’t have said it any better. It’s heartbreaking watching Gorr remember who he is, and I felt the same way as you bro. It struck a deep chord with me as well.

Gorr the God Butcher is one of the most tragic MCU villains
im kinda happy they decided to give Gorr the W here, villians need to win sometimes too
How was he ever the villain? There's clearly a universal being, and there are "gods" that make a mockery. his job as the good guy was to kill the "gods".
they probably meant "antagonist" not villain. villain implies that he is inherently evil, while antagonist is just someone who opposes the main character
@@ilovetweek000 its easier to just say villain

You could say that Love(the name of that girl) is one of the avatars of Eternity entity. Meaning that Love is the strongest human like character of the whole UCM. Only living tribunal and OAA is stronger.
Damn, i forgot how awesome that last shot was with the reflection of Gorr and Eternity revealing his child at his side.
What most people don’t know is that they made Eternity have a comic book accurate appearance
that's not even eternity. he's a god, not a wishing well.
as is usually the case, comic accuracy (in appearance) does not matter and MCU fans are finding the worst things to praise and complain about
@@shum8104 Jesus dude, the bitterness in your reply.
He only said that Eternity *looked* comic book accurate, which it does. The movie clearly states that this is the MCU version of Eternity. If you choose not to believe that, that's up to you, but that's what the movie says it is and it looks exactly like the comic book counterpart, just like OP said.
Nobody is praising the movie here. They're just making an observation that Eternity looks comic book accurate. That doesn't suddenly make the movie good, but it is nice to see, if you're a comic book fan, which I am. I don't like this movie, but I do like little touches like that. It is still possible to find a few small nice things in a bad movie. It just means the movie is only 95% ass, and this one little thing is part of the 5% that isn't.
@@shum8104 It does actually matter. Just like making Galactus a god damn cloud mattered.
@@thewingedringerI’m pretty sure that was supposed to be like a mix of galactus and the black winter which ye is a dumb choice
@@Xylarxcode and that it looks like the comic book version doesnt matter, when the "comic accuracy" that actually matters of the essence of the character is lost. it's not good just because it looks like the comics, this is what the average post-COVID mcu fan fails to understand.
Imagine if they cut out the useless stuff like the goats, or the over the top Thor jokes and instead, Gorr got more screen time, especially of fight scenes of him killing other gods.
@@919thedaveNot all comic book stories are happy-go-lucky
I cried watching gorr at the theater. Christian is legend
They should have had Thor arriving, Gorr already made his wish, they had this exchange, but then they realize Gorr wished for his daughter back the whole time.

Looking back, I just realised that Eternity’s realm looked like the Soul World we got in IW. It’s completely uncanny

Loved it when gorr shouted at the light guy for doing his job, it was emotional
If you only watch this scene , youd thunk it was a serious movie instead of a sitcom that it has become.

They probably do... but eternity's existence is in the cosmic level... representation here is probably limited in mortal eyes.
Eternity is what you see the universe, galaxies, stars, black holes, nebulas etc. This eternity is a embodiment.

I hope the next one will have the same 300 style visuals ( like opening of Ragnarok, with the Dragon ) ..and would be cool if he battles Hercules, then they end up joining
together to fight some demons or dragons or some other Gods.
I genuinely liked this movie. I do see why people don't. But this ending was perhaps the best in the entire MCU.
Based on this scene Thor: Love And Thunder doesn't seem as bad as people said it was. I skipped it, but now I've got a good feeling about this movie, so I'm going to go watch it now.
The plot aint bad, it’s just the director wasn’t serious and made jokes that fell flat
Amazingly a great act many people absolutely hate or love bales performance 💀💀💀
Great acting from Bale!
I really liked this movie despite its campiness. Thor at the end learns lessons that makes him even more worthy.
This backgound is not CGI, its a real place that has miles of water shallow enough to look like you are walking on it but only once a year
Christian Bale's back was nearly broken from carrying this whole movie. They made Natalie Portman a better Thor than Thor, and seemed to turn the movie into a spoof. Christian Bale really made what could have been a throwaway part into something due to this acting.
Oh man the reflection she IS the child of eternity.❤
This movie makes me sad. Because the pieces were there. Such a clear parallel between Gorr and Thor and losing people they care about. This and that deleted Zeus scene. So sad that Taika had to Waititi all over the film.
Ok, but we have to admit that the movie looks beautiful in this scene
This is the depth that I wish that the whole movie had.
Can we just appreciate that thor turns around before he says you seek love 1:00
The most amazing scene in the movie. ❤ The feeling of seeing eternity, the one and only. ❤ The OST, the watery atmosphere.
I haven’t seen this movie, only clips. But Christian Bale just kills it. For a villain he’s not someone that I just can’t stand and just want to see him meet his end.
Sometimes I just watch the beginning and the end of this movie because it is SO GOOD...but yea, I skip the middle.
1:17 Gorr Wayne
I didn’t look at the cast before watching this movie so I had no idea who played Gorr and you can’t really tell throughout most of the movie but when his yellow eyes start to fade away, you can see Christian Bale
Loved this movie, not as much as Ragnarok but I still had a great time and gorr was amazing. Just wish he had more screen time and less “sweet child o mine”
Best scene in the movie.

If the movie had been a more straight forward melodrama it probably would have been much better
I love this scene and people say this is a bad movie, this scene alone proves them wrong
