    Good review. I came from a mt10, the mt10 is simply animal and prob even a little more fun than the new mt09. But I just ordered a new mt09 because it’s amazing in traffic, great on fuel and still very very fun! Can’t wait to get it 🎉

    • @RUBBERNMETAL
      @RUBBERNMETAL  2 роки тому

      Wow you went from an mt10? That’s new and great to hear tho. Was the mt10 too powerful for town tho? Hope you get your mt09 soon it’s a fantastic bike!

    • @garyrayner6330
      @garyrayner6330 2 роки тому

      @@RUBBERNMETAL have owned the 09 about 6 weeks now and it’s amazing, it’s much lighter and more nimble than the 10 so slicing through traffic is easier and funner. Also you can just use a lot more of the power, the 10 wants to wheelie all the time, it’s a true psycho, the 09 can be controlled much easier but it’s still a hoon when you want it to be and will properly power wheelie 3rd gear if you lean back and tug the bar a bit.
      10 maybe the better weekend bike, 09 is hands down the better do it all bike.

      Oh man if I were you I’d go for the xsr900 based on the looks alone hehe. I’m not sure if I’m correct but I heard the xsr900 already comes with better suspension than the older MT09.

    nice video and review. keep the content coming, stay connected. the xtra power kicks in after 5rpm, that extra punch kinda pull you to be back. at higher speed, when that happens, the handle wobble alittle..

    I have a beautiful '18 that guy before me spent ridiculous amounts of money on, far more than I would spend on a mt09. I bought a new '21 and it's a totally different and drastically different bike than before. You think this one is a little unstable at speed, you should have ridden the old one! MUCH more stable at higher speeds than old bike. A dog down low though until it is flashed/exhaust. Nobody currently has exhaust available except for akra and I think they're UGLY! Yoshimura is what's on my '18 and their new system for mt09 is shorter than akra and tucks in more, looks WAY better. Yosh says the earliest they will be available is July (it's April now). That's life.

    • @RUBBERNMETAL

      From what others are commenting it’s not a common thing that this bike does so it could be just from the bike I tested which is weird. I’m sure Yamaha wouldn’t produce a bike that jarring.

      @Marchautowerks 2 роки тому

      I’m debating the 2 bikes. Mt-09sp and monster+ 937. My heart says I like and want the monster it looks better and that’s what I want. My brain says mt09sp, ohlins shock, adj kyb forks, and oem cruise control. Yamaha is more reliable and cheaper to maintain and way longer between service. Has less cc’s on paper but faster on the street, and parts are cheaper if you drop the bike. The Yamaha cp3 stays cooler around the legs and seat then Ducati L twin in city traffic.
      I don’t like the colors of the Yamaha or the headlight. Love the way the monster looks.
      I live in the us the bikes are close to the same price. What do you think and why?

    • @RUBBERNMETAL

      The MT07 was just riding along there and the truck just pulled across arrogantly.
      I’m not sure why the handlebar wobbled but around 180+ it just did. Wasn’t a one time thing it was consistent during a few pulls. Never had this issue even with smaller bikes.
