Hello Internet!
I am a real-world motorcycle enthusiast who loves sharing the passion of motorcycling through fun and useful content (hopefully) in this channel. I currently own a 2020 Honda CB650R, and I intend to create videos related to the bike throughout my ownership experience.
I also love riding various motorcycles and testing out whatever I could get my hands on, which I will also try my best to share the experience through reviews and impressions. Like many bikers out there, one of the aspects that has drawn me into motorcycles is the sound. I also love to capture sound clips of various bikes out there and post them as part of my content.
Enjoy the content!

In this video I share my first impressions during my brief test ride on how this bike is a worthy contender if you happen to look for a sports tourer yet looking for something that sticks out.

The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 and the Honda CB650R both belong to a similar category being the ~650cc entry level big-bike sub 100hp range. Both were built for different types of audiences nevertheless they are both really good value for what they are. Naturally after I tested the Triumph Tiger Sport 660, I gave my thoughts on comparing this bike against my own Honda CB650R and shared my preferen...

Ducati Monster Review | Finally arrived in Malaysia 🇲🇾
I'm about to get the same exhaust, is it true that you don't need to tune the bike after installing it? I've heard that the bike runs lean and you get power loss/long term engine reliability issues. If you actually don't need to tune it I feel like it's the best option hands down.
I would put in clip on bars or at least flip the handlebar upside down and definitely get bar end mirrors that can fold in. My current custom 250cc has very low and very tucked in clip on bars, so much so that my handlebar passes below sedan height mirrors; I've been spoiled by it so it'll be something to get used to once I get my own CB650R. The tank itself isn't actually too wide for low clip ons; it's the air intakes that get in the way; but I don't think there's a way to reposition those.
Apparently no longer being made for the 650
Do you wear earplugs? I wear earplugs to protect ny ears from wind anyways so it makes me want to remove the db.
In which country you live dude? Nice bike, nice sound
No! Me 😂!
Thanks very much for your video and hello from London. I’m looking to get my first bike this summer after passing my test. I am 6’4 so maybe the 1000r is better fit wise. But I think 650r is more sensible choice.
The gearbox sucks. yes.
These Statements are peanuts. You can actually change the brightness of the screen, so there is really no downside of this bike. Im in love with riding it
i mean hahaha this bike will just fall into gear and out of gear with a slight throttle blip like it was meant to be without the quickshifter.
"I thought that Muslims are not thieves."
I have a 1100 monster Evo in México. I totally agree with your comments. Te only difference is that mexicans robers do not bother stealing Brembo brakes nor Ducati bikes (specifically) I guess thefts do not find this bike practical for robbing because all what you pointed out :). However I truly love this bike and i am not planning to change it any time soon. It is not a rational decision, it comes straight from the heart. BTW, the monster Evo comes with traction control with different degrees of intervention.
Good Video. Good English.
MT-09 is sstraight-up DOWNGRADE in every way on the aesthetic front. Camel-hump tank & "darkside boy" styling just cannot even compete with the Neo-Retro Honda.
I love your energy. My QS finally arrived after 4 months lol. I will try to fit it this weekend. It's the middle of winter here but hopefully it will be sunny enough to go out for a ride this weekend. The roads have been icy though so I will be taking it easy haha.
do you wear ear plugs while riding?
I don’t actually.
Excellent video, thank you!
Great video comparing these two bikes man. I have the cb and was thinking to change it for the mt (because of lots of electronics and more power in lower rpm). But you changed my mind - it’s uglier and unstable. You can improve cb brakes with brembo pads (extreme stoping power). And I’m thinking changing front sprocket one tooth less, so the power is delivered in lower rpm
I’ve got this bike in red with a lot of accessories, didn’t bother with a top box though. Toured Europe on it twice now, once In 2023 and then 2024. Used a Lomo roll bag on the back instead of a top box. Lomo are brilliant used in conjunction with rok straps. I changed the front sprocket 16t for a 17t and that sorted out the short gearing between 1st and 2nd. People say they’d have liked a cruise control but personally I don’t feel one is necessary. Never even use the one on the car. For the price this bike really is exceptional value especially as the build quality is so good. Touring I was doing a lot of miles and mostly very comfortable. The ability to switch between mph and kph and road or rain mode is very good too. I switched of automatic cancellation on the indicators as I felt it was cancelling too soon but that’s just my opinion. All In all it’s a great bike.
This video, and the battery video, helped me get this done with ease. Thanks so much!
I am between a NX500 or a CB650R
False neutral destroyedmy 2° gear trans fork, has to opem whole engine to change
You should push the bike. The engine wont last as long if its not used with all rev ranges. Same as cars the commuter cars fail fastest since low rpm and contant long ride speeds.
its a gentle beast when you get to know it, and its a beast if you cant control it
I had a 2002 GSXR750 and while this bike is intriguing but its too much engine for me in the city, going to get a 24 CB650R instead.
Even a 125cc can benefit from traction control
Great review mate. Do you have an update of how they have lasted?
nothing cheap? for example, the non-adjustable suspension , and clutch lever? the lack of a rubber cover on the footrest?
Gruss u Danke 😊! Cb650R Thailand 1959.
Dang! Do they still make them? I want one🤩
Have the switching paths become shorter/longer? or stayed the same? after installing the switching stabilizer?
I used to think I wanted a Ducati then I discovered the SV650.
These are rare where I live and therefore not cheap when there is one. I imagine it’s a Ducati monster without the maintenance schedule and cost.
Having ridden both, which is more suitable to a shorter person?
Definitely the CB650R
What a crap review, how many people in Malaysia…..any large bike in those busy cities face the Same problems
There’s quite a lot of new riders and actually a lot of monsters in Malaysia. Quite a crowd that Ducati tailored the 795 specifically for Malaysia using the 696 chassis and 796 engine. Obviously you didn’t get my main point of the video. And there’s a lot of new riders out there who don’t foresee the typical issues from riding a bigger bike in a tropical urban environment.
Thanks for the Vid man....i have the same thoughts..i have a 2013 1100evo. I was wondering when you are riding through the city how hot does your bike get? Is it over 100C? If you have that information i would greatly appreciate it.
Wow that’s a nice bike you have there. Unfortunately I’ve already sold my monster and didn’t measure specifically how hot it gets but in slow heavy traffic it’s scorching hot.
Although I do own a 2024 (3d gen) MT09, I agree with your observations 100% solved my wobbling issues with an Hyperpro RSC. I still think the CB is more stable and planted. I'm currently somewhat interested in the new E Clutch CB....
Brother i ride a monster 795 around kl/pj area too and i agree with your frustrations 😂
Haha it’s more like fun frustrations. Superb bike I sold mine and miss it dearly. Need another monster soon!
Do you still have the bike bro?
I do. Just don’t have that much time to ride or do reviews nowadays :( it’s still good tho.
Always great to have a battery tender and an SAE connection cable from the battery available.
You think is worth to buy this model (Old model 2023 not e-clutch) brand new? Here in colombia is 14.300 USD
Great informative video straight to the point. Thanks! Keep it up!
I just get mine year 2022 at this march, last two week i had try ride from johor to penang and back johor..great experience with my leg and butt.jb to penang 8hour total in raining 6hour.penang to johor 7hour total with 3 hour rainy.3 stop filling petrol.thinking to install akra titanium rm5k
Is there a way to turn that off? Because my bike never flashed that led lol
thank you for this video, very informative. got mine tuned to my liking right after watching this.
My bike is on 500 km right now im not really sure a qs will be allowed right now because of the break in?
does this quick shifter work on going from neutral to 1st gear ?? if so, how do you do that ?? do we have to rev above 1500rpm from neutral to quick shift to 1st gear ?
Seat cowl dapat mana bro
Shopee je bro.

Hi, I've been driving a car for close to a decade in KL and I'm applying a BFull license to get a motorcycle. I've been eyeing out the CB650R for quite a while now and I've managed to test ride a 2022 2nd hand model for sale and something clicked in me and I love it. Should I commit to getting it as my first bike or should I look for something of a lower CC?
Shopee should damn near sponsor your build after this video man.. dunno if I would trust a Shopee slider - they are not made of composites that will react the good ways to impact and high-speed drag.
