Actually, yes the gall they offered him was refused. But the cool thing at the end they offered him “sour wine” (not mixed with gall). That “sour wine” was new wine. When wine is brand new, it is sour. Jesus said “I thirst” as in to speak for our flesh. He drank the new wine then said “It is finished” and gave up His spirit. Old wine can’t sit in a new wine skin as to why he spit out the old wine mixed with gall. He accepted the new wine for the new wine skin.
I heard that recently they (archeologists) have allegedly found Peter's house in Capernaum buried under the earth. My question to you since you've been to Israel is if that house was found buried, why hadn't the garden tomb and golgatha been buried after 2000 years? And golgatha is still a main road leading into Jerusalem!

The wrist part they used is directly under the hand and part of it (I've studied this for years). It's where the median nerve runs through into the arm. That snapped his thumbs back into the palm and forced hands into a claw, fastening them to the Cross. His hands became swollen adding to His pain. As did the nail piercing the median nerves. The feet were nailed to the Cross, as the bottom one sole down, the nail piercing through His heel, and the top.. ankle over arch.. piercing through the ankle bones. Our Lord did suffer excruciating trauma pain and torture on that Cross! The Father crushed Him from Gethsemane to the Cross, after Jésus-Christ prayed "Not My will, But Thy will Be Done." After praying "Father, all things are possible to You; Take this cup from Me!" 3x! After four bad beatings, being dehydrated, in shock, and sleepless, after being in agony, crushed in the garden, sweating drops of Blood, in sorrow and fear, bearing the sins and guilt of mankind, His beard ripped off, face and body bruised crushed bloodied lacerated swollen welted and marred unrecognizable, the severe flogging from neck to the calves.. both sides.. striping Him up, tearing into muscle down to the bone into the arteries, ripping His skin to quivering shreds or torn off completely, the Blood-loss and hypovolemic shock He endured, shaking imbalanced pale cold clammy and sick, the intense migraine suffered from the crown of thorns from the gundelia tuneforti thrust onto.. shoved down against His scalp.. and tied to His head, piercing and cutting into skin capillaries and veins, causing a lot of Blood-loss and eye sensitivity, being mocked struck blasphemed and spit upon, being stripped naked (no loin cloth) and humiliated, bearing the Cross-bar tied to Him and falling onto the ground onto His Face, the explosive pains shot up through His arms and legs rushing into His brain, His climbing asphyxia! This is How Much Jésus-Christ and the Father Loves us! How Much God Loves His Creation: Mankind! He Suffered and Died for us, in our place, for our sins and guilt, Bearing our sins guilt and burdens, and Paying our Debt In Full! Thank You Jesus! Hallelujah to God's Lamb! He Died of heart failure, for the pericardial sac round the heart was ruptured filing with fluid, fluid filling His lungs, and the fall bruising His heart. He was pierced after He died and Blood and Water (serum) flowed out of the spear-wound.
Brother I had a vision concerning this Jesus refuse the vinegar they tried to give it to him and he swing his head from left to right to avoid drinking it. He was like a innocent lamb bearing our iniquities

Jesus was crucified, not impaled. You interpret wrong when it says Christ "hung from a tree." For the Wages of Sin is Death, but the Free Gift of God is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus our Lord!
