if your having difficulty in fights, try swapping out your companions. if your in a conversation and a fight is inevitable, click the change character icon on the bottom left of your screen (its the middle icon) so that you can position your 3 other companions before the fight. always examine your enemies by right clicking them to see if they have resistance or not and what's the lowest stat they have for a save throw. explore and use any means necessary to win a fight, use explosion barrels if you have to. my designated fighter is always carrying 1 or 2 explosive barrel just incase some shit pops up. never underestimate utility spell like sleep or blindness, they can turn any fight into a child play.
Did this fight yesterday, I had gotten the Thayan ghouls to paralyze him, knocked him prone with repelling eldritch blast, and I whaled on him jojo beatdown style
Most attacks are done with an attack roll, this is calculated against the enemies Armor Class, when you attack you will automatically roll a 1d20, the result must be equal or higher than the enemy armor class otherwise it will miss. If you keep missing attacks, that means a lot of things, first you need to ensure you have a decent amout ot attack bonus which is made up of things like your weapon proficiency, the type of weapon you have agasint your abilities (dex for finesse weapons, strength for everything else), you also need to do your best to not forget to include buffs in your stategies, Bless skill is a very good way to start, it gives you a bonus to attack rolls and saving throws, you can also debuff your enemies, things like blindness or faerie fire will help you hit more often.
At 11th level, a fighter can make three attacks per action point. One base point. One point from Haste. One point from Action Surge. And one point from Elixir of Bloodlust. There are 12 attacks in total.
@@MeguJenZi he could probably get 15 if he used the mindflayer power to make bonus actions be equal to regular actions. There is a helm that gives you a bonus action at low life too, so potentially 18 attacks.
Okay I feel a bit dumb, I get you can have an extra attack from haste for example and when you're a barbarian class, but she is just spamming the hell with attacks. Can anyone elaborate on how to do that?
Its extra attack feature. You get 1 additional attack per action (green dot). Fighter, barb, monk, ranger, paladin, warlock (blade pact) get it at lvl 5 and at lvl 6 swords and valor Bard. Fighter have extra attack x2 at 11.

I took him out in less than 10 turns or so, I just had Gale use Dome of Invincibility and just had Shadowheart, Gale, and Astarion hide in there while range attacking everything while I go out and whack the pillars, then once those and the minions are dead I just held Raphael and had everyone body him
raphael: "You came into my home uninvited, and you stole from me!" this guy: "don't care, didn't ask, cry about it, stay mad, get real, L, mald, seethe, cope."
wish i had anywhere near this level of a plan. unfortunately for Raphael he did get caught in a hold monster for 5 straight turns while everyone circle beat him to death so. any solution so long as it works
And here i am just shooting him with regular arrows....and realizing to turn on and off sharpshooter....do you pick up arrows from a specific vendor or just randomly obtain the ones you see them have. I literally took the longest approach ever....i stunned locked him with my fighter/ monk la zael....destroyed all his soul towers, and the only healer i had was hope.

I wonder if you can give her the Death Ward buff or Survival Instinct , have her half nuke them, and use another cleric to finish them off.
Omg I didn’t look at all her spells, didn’t realize she had that. I used her perma banish spell though, was fun saying bye to two enemies.
High level fighters are brutally powerful and I love it.
I like to imagine that Raphael is inwardly screaming once he's halfway through that first round
Shortly after that first six second barrage, Raphael had exactly one thought.
He may have fucked up.
I walked into this fight spent. All spell slots almost used up. Lvl 10. I was not prepared for the gauntlet leading up to the fight. And my party was F’ed up. Probably the hardest fight I had in the game.
This was so fun. I can’t believe how amazing this game is even after a hundred hours in.
do you know you can regen in the room with the water ?
Love the music during combat!
I always find it funny how Yurgir walks in as if Tav didn’t just kick his @ss that very day
The music is masterful.
Dude literally has his own Disney Villan theme song
having the blood of lythander and spirit guardians made this fight quite easy as well. i love the armor you get
only if you don´t play tactician :D
Spirit Guardians with Necrotic damage instead of Radiant works as normal
love you man! one thing i need to ask, how do you get no disadvantage being close range with bow?
I do get disadvantage, but I paralized Raphael so every attack in 3m range is auto crit.
The music is a thing to behold
Casters that think they're better than martial never fought a truly awesome one.
I thought Sin-Tee was the only one pulling content like this :O
Nice massacre, gratz! Can't wait to get roflstomped by him in my current tactician playthrough :P
How very Disney Villain of him to sing during his own fight.
fitting his health starts at 666 the number of the beast
Crazy how build and positioning can make this game a 100 times easier lol.
My first playthrough (stopped at the start of act 3) at balance difficulty, I had issue on so many fights lol. Some fight took me hours and I raged so much. I made a second playthrough same difficulty, but went paladin and looked at a build for 1 of my character and Jesus its a piece of cake lol. I've had issue on one fight in act 3(not done yet with the game) and its not even comparable how my character is strong.
I even started a dark urge tactician playthrough and I haven't had any issue so far(only level 4 though).
if your having difficulty in fights, try swapping out your companions. if your in a conversation and a fight is inevitable, click the change character icon on the bottom left of your screen (its the middle icon) so that you can position your 3 other companions before the fight. always examine your enemies by right clicking them to see if they have resistance or not and what's the lowest stat they have for a save throw. explore and use any means necessary to win a fight, use explosion barrels if you have to. my designated fighter is always carrying 1 or 2 explosive barrel just incase some shit pops up. never underestimate utility spell like sleep or blindness, they can turn any fight into a child play.
@@justsayin2085 oh yeah, since I've new how to position and adapting myself, everything is a 100 times easier.
@@justsayin2085 there are some fights however that swapping characters during a dialogue scene where a fight is inevitable doesn't work.
Did this fight yesterday, I had gotten the Thayan ghouls to paralyze him, knocked him prone with repelling eldritch blast, and I whaled on him jojo beatdown style
It knocks back not prone
The bonus of listening to Raphael's disney villian song while watching you own him
Please can you explain the machanics of the extra actions and how to miss so many attacks? thank you
Most attacks are done with an attack roll, this is calculated against the enemies Armor Class, when you attack you will automatically roll a 1d20, the result must be equal or higher than the enemy armor class otherwise it will miss.
@@johnjohnson-ss4vu in the new video, he has 19 attacks XD
You know you're fucked when you're paralysed against high level fighter with action surge, that amount of attacks is ridiculous 😂
Lore accurate Tav:
Seriously, what the actual hellish fuck?
i still had a runepowder bomb left over after destroying the steel watch foundry so i used that and hopes divine intervention to give a long rest to my party cos they were out of spells
I clicked this video just to hear the song again
I love this game because you can do so many different things. I AOEd them all down with a cleric barrels and a warlock, and then went on rapheal. it was an epic battle taking like 20 turns at least. Then you fucked them all up solo in 2 turns.
Everyone having their own ways of doing these fights amazes me. My preferred method is me and astarion (both as monk/rogue hybrids) and folding Raphaels clothes with him still in them 😂
👏👏👏 GG dude, GG!
Raphael must be so embarrassed to lose like this while your own hype song is playing the background
Would love a build/gear video.
espero ese video tambien
Can you please do a build video for this? I really want to try it
really insane. i have rogue x socerer with 3 attacks (fireball, icestrom or lightning) but the devils have so much resistence. so i blow them up with gunpowder.
me, as a demon, watching this freaking guy attacking 800 times: 🙂
apparently it's possible to not get the Gontr Mael, at all, if you do things in a weird order in BG. Somehow the factory just self destructs if you don't go there before killing Gortash. Of coarse, almost mass murdering everyone has this small side effect of nobody trusting the pc... so it's attack on sight. lol
Wow bro that was amazing. You using a Dex based fighter?
yep 20 dex and sharpshooter
We found Ip Man in Baldur's Gate 3
Legend ❤😮
GTFO!!!! Raphael wiped my Party 4 times. Mad respect Sir
I swear smokepowder arrows are the ave in the hole because you can shoot like 10 of them in 1 turn it’s crazy
how do you have so many attacks per turn? O_O
saw a vid today with a similiar setup killing the whole squad turn one with 19 attacks. that game is crazy.
I just thread a rucksack with tons of explosives at him as well as a void bulb to pull every enemy in and Y'all-Quaeded him.
Raphael should’ve known better than to try and make a deal with a devil
Wait, I always persuade the demon boy to help me kill Raphael. He drops a 2nd purple hand crossbow? I’ve been playin myself
He didn't have one when I killed him in this fight. He just charge at me. Went invisible and then died. No crossbow. Might have been bugged.
As a 5e vet hearing about coloured rarity is actual painful.
I took him out in less than 10 turns or so, I just had Gale use Dome of Invincibility and just had Shadowheart, Gale, and Astarion hide in there while range attacking everything while I go out and whack the pillars, then once those and the minions are dead I just held Raphael and had everyone body him
Yeah that's the way to do it. Kill the minions first, meanwhile getting the pillars. Then go after Raphael afterwards.
raphael: "You came into my home uninvited, and you stole from me!"
this guy: "don't care, didn't ask, cry about it, stay mad, get real, L, mald, seethe, cope."
Fuckin amazin, gj there man
Hell, hell (ow) hell has its laws (ow)
wish i had anywhere near this level of a plan. unfortunately for Raphael he did get caught in a hold monster for 5 straight turns while everyone circle beat him to death so. any solution so long as it works
I did same. I’m surprised he didn’t have a lot more wisdom saving throw for a devil. But took the opportunity nonetheless.
I tried to push "space" two times. Didn´t affect the experience at all...
I don't understand how you can play with the log fully expanded on the right. Takes up so much screen space
Great video sometimes i wonder if we play the same game 🤣
hold monster was basically cheesing this fight
Raphael rap performance 10/10
i couldn't save hope, but im glad the reward is not worth the reload
