My favorite is the Wellfleet flea market in their drive-in

Loved the shop along! I live in CT, on Long Island Sound and I’ve not had great luck thrifting here. The Goodwill Bins is fun in Hamden on State St. not far from New Haven train Station. I found a Vintage Boston FD vintage 80’s sweatshirt at the bins, with the station # and flipped it quick on eBay, it had the denim collar which was a dead giveaway to vintage. I’ve done well there the linens and vintage clothing. I go to Savers and 2 Goodwills on the Boston Post Rd in Orange, CT. they are just ok. Ive sold my house and moving back to NH where the thrifting is good! Im from Lake Winnipesaukee area. Looking forward to rummage sales and thrifting!

I always call the thrifts to verify times. Google and websites are often wrong, I have learned the hard way. You made the most of those 20 minutes in the SA.
I do shop at the Bourne/Buzzards Bay shop. it's a hit or miss but if the racks have just been filled in the mornings when they open at 10 am you will do a lot better! They also have half-price days and will be overstocked for those days. You went late and maybe just had an unlucky moment with the stock. If anyone wants to stop in and check them out, they should, it's worth the trip! I've found Prada pullovers for $4 there! I just wear the clothes, and I am not a dealer, but it;s a great place to shop.

I love the yellow Pendleton sweater! You find such nice things! My sister, cousin and I spent 6 hours in my local Salvation Army recently! We are not resellers. Just shop for ourselves! ❤️🥰
Huh, there's a Consigning Women near me. When I found it, the name made me laugh. I thought that was a great pun, but realized that people younger than I am would probably not get it - anyone remember the TV show Designing Women? Anyway, they have a $5 rack, too.

I was in providence last week visiting with my sister. I went to 2 thrift stores. I was not impressed. Next time I'm going to research different thrift stores in the area.

That Salvation Army was closing two hours after they opened? Maybe the people wanted to go to the beach That Dooney and Burke bag had puckering it was probably a manufacturing defect and that company usuallly uses quality materials.

This is a great road trip for me and my friend who loves the thrift store, I live just a few minutes, from Lakevilla, Massachusetts, and we can just head up,to Cape.

Can't wait to see where else you have been. I live just 10 mins away from that particular thrift shop. There used to be a ton of Church thrift shops when I used to go with my mom when I was a teenager...Now I'm in my 40s and do this part time. I wish I had this passion 20 years ago. It's so fun and rewarding...Hard too, don't get me wrong. Anyway, I have a few spots in my area that I go to. So interested to see if you do as well. Also five minutes from the Lakeville store on Thursday there are two church thrift stores in Middleborough. I could look the names up if you are coming back through this area.
