Thank you so much for coming back for another episode of my Thrift Across New England series! Today I visited Woonsocket Rhode Island! I shopped at their Salvation Army on Memorial Day and I found some great pieces! I can't wait to show you!
What a great Salvation Army! That old woman in the background is so cute watching you guys going through your carts lol. Also, you nail color looks so beautiful with your skin tone and matches your adorable birds in the background!
I LOVE US! How fun was this?! Also, "I think I found this" had me dying LOL This haul was brought to you by Daniela and her amazing sourcing ability 😂 Can't wait for part 2!!
I know exactly how you feel about the holes from tags.. specifically from Goodwill. I've had to put so many things back because of this. 🤦🏼♀️ Great video, as always!
Hello from Tiverton, RI! When you come back to the area to visit Newport, I suggest checking out the Salvation Army in Taunton, MA and the Savers in New Bedford, MA (both about a half hour away from Newport, give or take). I sell shoes and men's clothing, so I cannot speak to the quality of women's pieces, but for what I sell, I have had the best luck at these two locations. The Salvation army has 4 out of 5 tag colors half off on Wednesdays. :)
I used to live in Attleboro. Never went to goodwill but did go to the savers in North Attleboro. I was very casually thrifting hard goods at that time.
Omg I am sooo excited to finally watch this! That Salvation army is one of my faves in RI, the savers in Woonsocket (less than 10 mins away) always has gems as well 😊💖
That vintage Golf Sweatshirt is so cool! I hope Daniela got that Vince Bomber Jacket because the quilted leather was super unique. I am loving this series! Great haul and video!
I am from rhode island. You should definitely come by providence, east side, or even Narragansett area. Woonsocket is ...an interesting city.. but I feel like it'd be a hit or a miss
I love that UO skirt. Great find. The Vineyard Vine and Free People shorts too. I love the low COG from the Salvation Army. Goodwill in Boston has gotten so expensive. I have to hit your honey hole again sometime soon. I got some great pieces last time I was there.
What a fun video! I'm loving the thrift across New England Series! PS: I've had luck getting weird spots out of leather with a 50/50 mixture of vinegar & water + a small bit of rubbing alcohol apply on spot with a Q-tip, then wipe dry with a cloth.
With the Niki Biki piece, you may have been thinking of Kiki Riki. That's a brand that used to make lots of long sleeve fitted layering pieces that were popular with some communities that do modest dress, though now they make more mainstream items.
!I had a pair of those free people denim shorts. I couldn’t sell them I couldn’t give them away. I sent them to thread up and thread up couldn’t sell them
Hey Lori, thank you for another great video! We’ve just got back from Cape Cod, we’re in love it was sooo beautiful 🤩. Did you make it to Provincetown they have the best ever vintage store spendy but very interesting Vintage in Vogue. Also made it too Consigning women which was fab to buy bits for yourself but too spendy to flip. Thank you for the inspiration to visit Cape Cod 🥰
You spent so much time, energy, and money on the rights to that song and what you guys did with it is AWESOME!!! I think you should make the intro and outgo longer with the 🎵 . Seriously!!! I get bummed it ends too soon!
This means so much to me Jacqueline! It was really tricky navigating the licensing for the song. I included more of it in my Vermont thrift at the beginning and the end! I hope you like it. xo
I’m going to try S. Army today! I’ve been thinking about it but you made it a hard YES! Check bundle I made you! I would never of checked out robes if not for YOU💕

I’m really bad about asking about things behind the counter. It can be a pain. I need to look more often.

I don't understand why they don't put the tag through a side seam or on the label. So frustrating.
@@Sarah-pc6sc I know, I have to pass on so much because I know once I cut that tag, the hole will be too big 😐

I’d list that Brahmin for at least half of retail, it’s gorgeous. You could use the keywords coastal and summer teens because of colors.
