    “Utsurundesu”(Global name:QuickSnap) contains an aspheric meniscus lens. For this high performance lens, it is still popular among many photographers.
    With “Utulens” you could enjoy the lo-fi and emotional taste of photography on your mirrorless interchangeable lens camera as if you were taking with Utsurundesu. It is a thin and easy to carry pancake lens. A perfect size to snap photos!

    This is why I periodically grab my old Pentax. Load up film, grab a prime lens and go wander. Having fixed film speed and focal length, combined with that knowledge that each shot you take is one of a finite number available, makes me think a lot more about what I’m shooting.
    That and getting home to process the film, the smell of darkroom chemicals, the rhythmic nature of agitating the tank, it’s meditative for me :)

    I have a bunch of silly things like this, I take them for walks and give myself a task or limits. se a select lens or only take pictures of a certain color. This has made me a better shooter by far. When I get bogged down with my craft and what everyone else wants I turn to stuff like this.
    Great video and I hope people learn from it.

    i remember using those disposable cameras on school trips, they always gave terrible photos. i'd like to see you do a bit of a challenge in your spare time, purchase one of those disposable cameras and try to actually get some decent photos from just one roll of film. could make for a bit of a challenge and also cheap video as well.

    That was awesome thank you. I've gone and taped of a third of my lens and go into the city and make myself shoot every picture with a third of the lense blacked out. The other thing I did was tape a large projection TV lense over my lense and take pictures wich distorts the image in crazy ways we need to remember to try things for shits and giggles as they say. No gain just a harmless laugh a good time and if your lucky you get to learn and create.

    Good vinyl actually sounds pretty good. I really wish people had taken up SACD instead, because it is far and away superior to both Vinyl and CD in every way that matters. But the pageantry of putting on a vinyl record is a warm and fuzzy feeling you don't get with digital, and is diminished for CD's simply due to the ease and size of putting on a CD. Vinyl is fun, anyone who likes it for that I have no problem with, people claiming it is superior to CD's give me serious rage.
    I'm pretty sure you have not used the same type of 3D printing before, that is CLEARLY no typical desktop FDM, probably powder based with a laser to fuse or "sinter" it together. Those prints can be VERY strong, and incredibly versatile, some can even work a little differently with an almost ink like binder added that can produce parts with varying levels of flexibility, even varied levels within the same part. The metal adaptor is still a good idea to improve longevity and compatibility.

    • @BluntyTV
      @BluntyTV  3 роки тому

      Yes, the 3D printing here is very likely powder bed fusion, but the issue I was talking about is not the strength of layer bonding, nor even detail fidelity... it's simply; plastic is still plastic! and ALL cameras this will be used on have METAL lens mounts. It's simple material physics here, of the plastic was the direct mount point it WILL wear down, and make the flange fit complete crap, rather quickly (and worst case, leave behind particulates worn off it, potentially jamming or wearing the moving parts of the camera's shutter, or settling on the image sensor). This is why I praised their simple solution to the issue.

    • @PAPO1990
      @PAPO1990 3 роки тому

      @@BluntyTV oh it is still certainly a better solution, but not all plastics are created equal. You’re not quite giving this plastic enough credit. Additionally, something like delrin or acetal would be fantastic to use the lens mount directly, even though they are plastic.

    • @EchoWinters
      @EchoWinters 3 роки тому

      I love both vinyl and cassette, especially chrome cassettes (I have yet to try metal) there's just a certain "realness" to analog sound you don't get with digital, even if it is a little more muddled and has a little less range.
