After 30 plus years I landed on D'Addario, they have been the most consistent string regardless of the gauge. The NYXL sets last longer than any other string I have ever tried. Ernie Ball strings feel "gritty" when you play them back to back with the D'Addarios.
@@user-ql1pc7pi9x Dude, these are acoustic strings. Thisis not compareable to electric guitar strings, lol. Anf for me it´s about the material! Pure Nickel, nothing else. Everything else sounds "dead"
Thats exactly my reason for sticking with daddario. I tried ernie balls twice and they broke in a matter of a day or two. Also, they were 0.010 mind you.
Highly doubt this story happened
Weird flex but ok. 👌
@@User-gfys-0icu81 Weird to think I was flexing but ok.
They also sound awesome!!!!
That's all I use on my bass and guitar. They're the best 👌
An actual rationally defined reason for strings. Amazing. I use D'Addarios, but I don't use a tremolo.
he smoke that shi+t

My cobalt Ernie balls were rusty
Welcome to my world Kirk - they really work🤘
Welcome? He’s probably been playing them longer than you lol.
@@I_Will_Just_Be_Honest I seriously doubt that since I’m twice his age😎
@@I_Will_Just_Be_Honest That’s an old profile pic btw
@@vudunof half his age? kirk is 61, so I don't think so.
@@pap1140 yeah true, I forget we’re the same age🤘
I thought he used to play dean markley?
Rusted strings 3 times got from a new seals in Malaysia. Really upset with the quality.
I just like saying ball
Ernie Ball 2253
D'addario XS are the best strings out atm. They leave anything EB make for dead.

@@Akasha92Ive been using daddario for over a decade and they are way more resistant to corosion than ernie balls, also they dont break as easily.
Daddario r better imo slinky's don't last long
D'addario for me, guess you really just need high quality ones

labella benders or ernie ball. there are none better.
Pay me millions too, and I’ll say what ever you want me to say about your strings.
