- Based on a study of the Municipality’s job, population and housing growth trends, there is a need to identify additional lands to accommodate future growth. This will be achieved through an expansion of the Municipality’s settlement area boundaries in Strathroy and Mount Brydges, informed by a comprehensive technical review and evaluation.
The Municipality held a virtual Public Information Session for the Comprehensive Review from 6 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 13, 2024. During this session, information about the project was shared and the preliminary proposed settlement area boundary expansions were presented. No decisions were made at this meeting and all feedback received will inform potential revisions.
