This museum is a gem!
Thank you for this tour of renovated Carnaval. I have wanted to see this the two visits I have spent in France and haven’t managed it yet. When I return to Paris this museum will be my priority. It’s beauty and quiet reflective displays are the way I would choose to spend my time in this remarkable city. Thank you for your carefully curated review.
It's actually one of the most beautiful museums in the world and has a vast art collection. The building and grounds, though, are works of art unto themselves, and the cafes in the museum are awesome. Another great museum in the Marais district is the Picasso museum - another beautiful chateau turned into a museum housing a large collection of Picasso's works.
mon musée du coeur ! Plein de mémoire, d'art et d' énergie pour l'âme
I had never heard of this museum, until now. Thank you. This was a beautiful presentation, unto itself.
Fabulous museum. Absolutely beautiful buildings. Thank you for your glorious video. Definitely on my list next time in Paris.
Le Carnavalet et Cluny are my favorites; I visit both each time I am in Paris. The exhibitions can be viewed repeatedly with admiration.
I was there a decade ago. Now you’ve made me longing for going there again! ❤️
My husband and I visited the Carnavalet several years ago and enjoyed it tremendously. Would love to once again see Georges Fouquet’s jewelry store, which was designed by Mucha. My husband just stumbled across it while I was much too slowly viewing other exhibits😂 It would also be great to see the bust of Madame Sevigne, who recorded volumes of history in her personal letters as it occurred and which fortunately was preserved for research in the many years since.
Love this museum we had a lovely lunch in the garden. Wonderful
Must visit this gem once we visit Paris again this spring. Thank you for bringing this to my attention
What a fantastic quality production very beautiful music and by the way what is it? Thank you so much for this I will go there in the spring and yes I will be a tourist hopefully I won't disgrace myself..........
It says so in the credits above -- Le Valse du Moquer (Waltz of the Mockingbird) by Kurtz Martin
Thank you for the tour. Beautiful museum, actually simply sublime. Very well done with added history of the city. Your channel just popped up for me, and thus I subscribed. Can’t wait for another of your video creations….
Thank you for subscribing, and I appreciate your kind words.
@@Allons-y.Charlie you did a great job you deserve the credit.
🩷 Thank you for sharing this lovely snipet of the vast collections stored there. 😁
Impressive, and I'm sure much more functional since the renovations, but in its older form it had its own special charm.
I know this museum very well. Certainly one of the finest in Paris. Thanks for the video !
Je connais très bien ce musée et c'est effectivement l'un des plus beaux de Paris. Merci pour cette vidéo !
OUI MOI AUSSI.
You chose beautiful music!
Thank you so much.
New subscriber! Impressed by the elegant, quality content and I hope your channel goes from strength to strength as I can see you have the artist's eye and have put a lot of work into this beautiful video. Thank you!
Merci beaucoup!
Красиво и музыка отличная.
Very interesting thank you for showing us this amazing view well done 👍
Maybe I'll add this to my list if I get to Paris next year.
Beautiful!
Very impressive !! Happy Easter !!
This is a great museum no tourists go to and is free. Only thing, it’s hot! And some of the art is wavy like a bad poster frame job. Probably wonderful in the winter
Excellent video. Thanks
Thank you Luciana
Why would make the font different sizes? Does that make it easier or does it make it harder to read?
The Louvre is older than this museum.
That is up for débat. During the French Revolution, the National Assembly did decreed that the Louvre should be used as a museum, and it did on 10 August 1793 hold an exhibition of 537 paintings, however, due to structural problems with a wing of the palace, the exhibition was closed in 1796 until 1801 and Napoléon and Napoléon III still used the edifice as a royal palace.
🥰🥰🥰
Not underrated by me. One of my favorite museums anywhere.
