I need much simpler than this. Nice table though!

As always, a pleasure to watch you at work. I really like your drill/router technique to make those mortises. 😀

I tried this and I liked it, it's pretty accurate and easy to make! 🤠

Yes, in theory the table's simple, but if you don't have a workshop with all those power tools it's really not that simple.
    Anyway, nice job. 🙂

I agree, but there are many ways to get the result, even using more hand tools, anyway, thank you and hope this was helpful for you mate!

What these videos don't show is the amount of skill/equipment required to properly mill the wood. Those panel glue ups look so simple if you don't realize that wood doesn't come perfectly flat and square. I suppose he could've bought S4S but that's wildly expensive.
This isn't a knock on this guy, it's a good video. But when I first started woodworking I saw all the videos like this and thought, "wow this will be so easy!"... but it's not.

Better title: Building a simple table with my 20.000$ workshop.
If I look for "beginner" builds, I expect beginner techniques.

Great looking but you gave no provision for the top to expand and contract. It will break.

Thank you for your advice, I will consider this for the next project, there is so much to learn from experience.

Exactly he should off attach the top using cleats underneath onto the frame so it can compensate for movements during the various seasons
