Awesome! Generally, screwing anything into workpieces that are 3/4" thickness you would use the 1 1/4" screw. I use it the most as most things I build frequently use 3/4" boards (1 inch nominal), plywood, etc.
Thanks! Table was built as a non-permanent solution to fill an empty space in my friend's restaurant. He needed it for some temporarily required documentation and the shelf was just for some simple "storage." I expect it will take much more of a beating in that capacity than any expansion issues would cause. At least that was my thought behind it. Thanks again!

The paint needs to be fully cured, but since it's going in a restaurant, I wanted to give it some more protection!
