I always tell my mom to get into the truck because she's not safe out there at night. Where "there" is I don't know, but it's a trip to wake up and now know how you got there, but perfectly remember parts of the conversation you had when you were asleep.

Man, I loved Ambien. My doctors took me off of it because sleep walking. But I always felt really rested no matter if I went to bed or not. But I had a scary incident where I went to the gas station in my car trying to buy McDonald’s food (they obviously don’t sell). Luckily I was a regular there and they called my wife. I truly don’t even remember any of it. For me I went to bed and woke up in bed. The crazy part is when we checked the cameras to our house, I left 3 hours before I made it to the gas station….there’s no telling what happened or where I went

I am a sleepwalker and I spent almost 11 years in prison after committing a crime while sleepwalking from taking Paxil. In my state sleepwalking is a hard defense to prove. Its more than just Ambien.
Ambien does this, it’s a crazy drug honestly. If you fight it and don’t go to sleep you act the same way or it can make you sleep walk and act like this. My guess is dude already had sleeping problems which is how he got prescribed the ambien in the first place so his sleepwalking and sleep talk is probably doubly severe lol

This happened to me when I took an ambien once in 2011. I will never do it again. I don't remember any of it, and I have no idea if I was awake and hallucinating, or if I was sleepwalking, but my dad told me that I woke him up by poking at his bald spot repeatedly, and that I was walking around the house and talking about all manner of bullshit that made no sense. I wouldn't go back to my room because my posters were apparently coming to life and taunting me lmao you can't make this shit up. Ambien is no joke.
I'm pretty new to all this. Gotta say I'm feeling less anxiety researching sleepwalking. I'm 32M, 2 weeks ago I went to bed, I woke up in the hallway sometime in the night. I thought it was weird. But I went to bed early yesterday because I had to wake up at 2:30AM for work 40 miles away (local truck driver), I woke up on the freeway half way to work and it was 10:45PM, I was shocked and disoriented and couldn't believe the time on my dash, had to check my phone, then I realized I didn't know how I got there, all happened very fast. Good thing I'm a professional driver. Now I'm thinking back to all the days I woke up super tired and sore and now I'm wondering how long this has been going on and just what tf I've been up to at night.
Be careful I've heard lots of stories about hallucinations if you don't go to sleep. I actually took it in highschool because someone told me that and I basically was sleep walking like this.
I’ve been in the same state of mind as this guy before, in your head you’re making complete coherent sense and you feel like you’re talking to an idiot because they can’t understand you, when in reality you’re standing there blabbering nonsense like a psycho, although in my experience I usually come to after around a minute.
I gotta share this, someone guiding while you sleep walk is very effective, let me make this clear: during first sleep walk person may go out somewhere but if there is a person who guides to not to opean the door and go to bed or something like that the next time person starts to sleep walk he will go upto door and then comes back(person may opean the door then close it but does not go out) and go back to bed.
Ur definitely supposed to guide them back to bed. And once you get them to lay back down, it all becomes fine.. My mom would always guide me right back to bed when she found me sleep walking

I wondered if I had sat in it. Another time I woke up and there was one of my dresser drawers removed from the dresser and lying in my bed next to me. Once I found most of my silverware on top of my kitchen counter all in a perfect straight row.

People couldn't figure out what was going on with the trucker. I believe he was sleepwalking (or, rather, sleep driving?). He acted a lot like this guy (strange reactions and responses). But from my knowledge I grew up from it. Then while on Ambien as an adult. I drove 5 miles away to get chinese food with my 15 yr old daughter operating the steering wheel. Shes greedy and always down to eat so she knew I was under the influence but let me leave out anyway. The next day she showed me the video of me babbling and sleeping while driving. I was FURIOUS and she began to cry when I reminded her of all the people I couldve killed. Now she understands the severity of it all and I stopped taking Ambien on the spot. I found this video cause I heard of a woman that repeatedly stabbed her husband. Killing him because she was sleep walking and thought he had broken into their home. Ambien is very dangerous

I'm quite a sleepwalker and I've seen people do it, mostly my little stepsister, she stood in the middle of the hallway crying and I asked her what was wrong and she just kept crying, not wailing but like she stubbed her toe. A few times I've done it, my dad once told me what my deal was the night prior, I didnt know what he was talking about and he said he saw me in the hallway walking to the bathroom, took a violent horse piss and then walked back to my room, dad was tryna get my attention and I guess I just ignored him. I've woken up in my grandma's hallway with no recollection of how I got there. I've walked into my GF's grandfather's room and sat on his couch. And last night I guess I did the same thing but I just creepily stared and him and some of his belongings, looking back and forth, he doesnt understand the concept of sleepwalking so when we told him I was a sleepwalker and have no recollection of that happening he got pissed.
I sleeped walked on Ambian. According to family I was running into stuff, knocking stuff off counters, breaking stuff. I remember nothing it was crazy. Got off it shortly afterwards. The side effects scared me

On paper it is but speaking from experience, it is not a sleeping aid lol I once woke up sitting on the edge of my bed in front of my tv that was not on with what looked like a huge wet spot in my 🍆 area which did not spell like piss and to this day have no idea what it could have been. Several weeks later while going through my photos I came across a 13 minute video I don’t remember recording the day I took the ambien which consisted of me going outside, recording the building I lived in and random people outside of my building. Then I walk to the second floor of my building and start commentating on all of the artwork. There was no artwork. It stops there and I guess I must have gone back into my apartment at some point and either pissed water or spilled something on my lap. I’ll never touch that stuff again, spooky stuff 😂
It's all fun and games until you realize you live in a tall building and need to sleepwalk-proof your windows. And lock the cutlery drawer. And shut the gas supply to your stove and oven. And lock all lighters and hide all matches. Worse than having a toddler loose. Oh, and the medicine cabinet. The things we get up to (literally!) are scary af.
My oldest daughter used to sleepwalk as a kid. We had to put locks on the fridge and stove. She came in one night, stuck her pillow in the oven and turned it on to cook the “Turkey”. She was 12. She went into the living room corner once to pee as if it was the bathroom. She stuck her pillow in the freezer. It was always a pillow or blanket. I guess because it was in her reach when she woke and became, in her mind, whatever it was she was thinking about.
I sleep in my undies. After taking Ambien, the next day I had pretty strong feelings that I had walked out of my apartment, through the courtyard, and out to my car in the middle of the day, in my undies. I told my doctor this and he said, "yeah, no more Ambien for you." LOL
Sleepwalking feels like you’re in and out of consciousness in a dreamland. It’s darkish and reddish color everywhere. When I’m sleepwalking I have a second that I realise it’s happening but I just couldn’t wake up.
Ambien fucking sucks big time. This happened to me so many times when I used to take it. Army prescribed it to me and I would go to work the next day of videos of me dancing in the barracks and even drinking on a Tuesday night and would have zero memory of it completely.
I sleepwalk bad, when I was younger I slept with my grams and I would get out of bed. If I didn't come back for a minute she would come after me, she caught me getting ready to piss in drawers close baskets and everything 🤣👏🤣

he's on Ambien and that can make you hallucinate and do all kinds of weird things. they have done lots of testing and experiments to see if things like this really happen on it and it does and this isn't even close to how bad a lot of people get. but they aren't asleep this is when they take it and it kicks in and they are still awake. it's a sedative and it effects men way more then woman typically

My Dad once shaved his entire body in the shower when he was on Ambien. He stopped taking Ambien after that.

Ambien fucking sucks big time. This happened to me so many times when I used to take it. Army prescribed it to me and I would go to work the next day of videos of me dancing in the barracks and even drinking on a Tuesday night and would have zero memory of it completely.

I sleepwalk bad, when I was younger I slept with my grams and I would get out of bed. If I didn't come back for a minute she would come after me, she caught me getting ready to piss in drawers close baskets and everything 🤣👏🤣

he's on Ambien and that can make you hallucinate and do all kinds of weird things. they have done lots of testing and experiments to see if things like this really happen on it and it does and this isn't even close to how bad a lot of people get. but they aren't asleep this is when they take it and it kicks in and they are still awake. it's a sedative and it effects men way more then woman typically

@bird up.... Youve definitely never seen or been around a sleep walker before.. This isnt someone just "fighting their sleep" while being on ambien or xanax etc etc. Its once theyve already fallen into a deep sleep, then they get up doing things in a daze, all while not being awake what so ever

Are we sure he's sleep walking and not just high as fuck from the ambien? Ambien legit will make you high as balls if you don't sleep right away. I have felt like there was peoole around me while awake on ambien and was laughing at everything and talking to myself. Mind you at the time I was taking ambien I was also pretty big into harder drugs so I do not have a low tolerance to drugs what so ever and it still made me act weird as fuuuuck.

Dude is not asleep. I don't care what anyone else says, that's not sleeping. His brain is not sleeping like normal people's does, there is alot more of the lights on for him. Therefore we really need a new and more accurate word or phrase for sleepwalking, because they aren't sleeping.
