go 7-28g for other people wondering the same. Because 28 is really the heaviest you will go with like fladbukken and stuff. But sometimes it can be really good to go with lighter and smaller lures closer to shore.
@@Bronk0999 I'd disagree with that given that one use a somewhat premium rod, as they are of such quality that they will not break easily and one can actually fish a tad bit heavier than rod specification. Still, it's bad planning if one suddenly decide to go outside of weightrange, lol. If one has a cheap rod then one should keep within the weightrange to avoid damage to rod (and to oneself!), I'd say. Also, fishing a 20 g bait with a rod specified for 8-28 g is perhaps perfect, as one is close to the optimum casting parameters somewhere in the middle of weightrange.

The max weigth for a 8-28g rod is 20g, not 28. Unless you want to break them. Btw, i use also an 7-28g Savage Gear Salmonoid.
