    I’ve just let my first attempt at this recipe cool down enough to try, having made brioche for years and years I was sceptical but I’m amazed how good it is, absolutely delicious! In no way a poor relation to “the real thing” thank you Philip Khoury.

    Hi, my daughter has a number of allergies and one of them is nuts. What can I substitute Hazelnut Butter with? As I have never tasted hazelnut butter, is it savoury like peanut butter or sweet like nutella? I have come across an american brand called sun butter which has a savoury and chocolate version. Many thanks.

      So sorry for this late reply! Hazelnut butter us usually just ground hazelnuts and it becomes liquid from the fat in the nut. It isnt sweet. Adding a sweet nutty spread would work nicely, and make it a little sweeter, but delicious nonetheless.
