THE INSTRUMENTAL FOR MKDR IS SO GOOD…..
I’ve been waiting to hear the MKDR/DSCF cover for a while now, and now I’m even more intrigued to hear the whole thing. I particularly can’t wait to hear her “ai ya iya’s” in this key.
Edit: I’ve been listening to the songs for the past 2 weeks since they released, and I’d say this cover is a strong contender for my favorite song so far. The sample they played in this trailer did not accurately convey the quality of the whole song, and seeing as I already thought it sounded good, it was a nice surprise.

@@lonelytac0 I would love that if that happened! That’d be great development for Futa. I don’t know what they creators are going to do, but I just hope Haruka makes it out of this trial alive somehow.
He, Futa, and Mahiru are my favorites, and it pains me to see them the way they are.

I feel bad for Mu, I think she won't get a happy ending regardless of what verdict she gets from now on.
To explain myself I'd like to talk about how I imagine she would have developed had she gotten a guilty verdict in the first trial. It's a bit long but bear with me.
In After Pain she has a few lines that people don't seem to pay attention to:
"But maybe some of it is my fault."
"Maybe it's okay as it is."
Now let's keep in mind this video is extracted from her MIND she can't lie about this. To me this feels like Mu is actually questioning if the bullying was actually her fault, not the murder mind you, the bullying she received.
She spends the entire video apologizing, probably about being a brat before the bullying happened in an attempt to get them to stop, but no one seems to care.
Mu has been clear on her way of thinking regarding how "The one who did wrong first should apologize", Mu apologized for being a rich-bitch-mean-girl-brat, which is what she thinks is right, she apologized because she did the wrong thing first. Now she refuses to apologize for the murder until the other party apologizes, almost like she wants to take turns on it, kinda childish.
Mu clearly is pretty immature.
Now my point is, I believe that if she had gotten a guilty verdict she would have gone back to those small doubts of who was at fault and start blaming herself for the bullying and murder, thinking that anything bad happening to her is justified. And seeing how Kotoko beat up the guilty people, she might have blamed herself for being beat up, thinking maybe it was okay that way.
"Maybe it's okay as it is."
Now I'm gonna talk about how I think she's screwed regardless.
If she gets an innocent verdict, she'll get even more arrogant, making people want to vote her guilty in the last trial which might end her life.
If she gets a guilty verdict she might start blaming herself for what she's been doing (as I said she has an immature way of thinking about this sorta thing), and once she gets a guilty verdict Haruka will end his own life, she probably will blame herself for this too.
There's also a chance she'll just go in denial about the whole thing which isnt much better.
Regardless Mu seems to be destined to have a bad ending and it makes me pretty sad since we put her in this situation. I genuinely think she could have become a better person had we voted correctly.
I think we have past beyond the point we can go for the good ending. The least damaging way for this situation is to vote her innocent. Being arrogant is normal and shouldn’t be voted guilty by just personality but we should consider that she is worth for the punishment or not. Not to “fix” her.
@@serokery8819 I think so too, but people don't understand that we're not voting on innocent/guilty- rather forgive/not forgive. A lot of people voted guilty based on how they wanted the characters to know that they were in the 'wrong' but it backfired and was ineffective on quite a number of characters (futa, amane etc) and milgram have obv added consequences and relationships as an additional element to try and change the tides. Despite that from a lot of comments I've seen so far people don't really seem to catch on so I feel like the same story will repeat this time as well :/
Mu was never given a fair chance even in the first trial, there was so many people against her based on her personality which lead to people discrediting her as a victim even though the mv was played pretty straight. Now that she's became arrogant, it just affirmed people's prejudices lol. The whole system was never a fair one to begin with.

I like how this project gradually turned from a virtual court into a waifu/hasubendo bait, where people blindly try to justify their favorite characters.
Weirdly enough, I think she’s still innocent.
Curious to see more about what she "did" before the bullying and murder. As someone pointed out once, the girl she killled wasn't in the group that was bullying Muu in her first MV.
I suspect the story might be that Muu was the leader of bully group originally and that they had a falling out that lead to Muu being the bullied one. I hypothesize that the girl Muu killed used to be the original bully-victim who Muu blamed for the "turn".

Also the characters covering deco 27 songs is like. Fitting. Both because deco 27 works on milgram, but they *know* their song in and out and are able to instruct vas or at least have influence over instrumentals/mixing (i’d assume!). It’s nice because you can almost guarantee the cover of a song is going to be good if you have the person that made it-helping you.

I’m interested to see if Mu is going to have any sympathetic qualities given to her this trial. Right now it seems like she’s going to be portrayed as very selfish and unfeeling, which makes sense since she was voted innocent last time, but the final vote was almost 50:50, so I feel like she doesn’t need to be made that unlikable since a significant portion of voters from last time already think she is guilty.
Or maybe the intent is to make her so unlikable that we’ll struggle to decide whether we’re willing to let Haruka die just to prevent her from being found innocent again and spiraling further into delusion. (Haruka explicitly said in his most recent voice drama that he’d end himself if Mu is not voted innocent. Given that he’s already been voted guilty this trial, I don’t think he’s going to hold back.)
I think Haruka is def guilty but I don’t want him to die before we get another banger from him. I love his songs, especially the range of the piano sounding like it’s going all over the place in all knowing and all agony. I also love his voice, it’s just so good. I might’ve rambled a bit there

@@zackj6751Possibly. Es’s reaction to his threat made it sound like it was feasible for him to do so, but they may not have been considering the restraints. Then again, it isn’t clear how restrained the prisoners are and whether it’s enough to prevent them from harming themselves. And Jackalope’s second trial announcement seemed to indicate that the restraints from the first trial were lifted at the start of the second, so I don’t know if there’d be anything to stop Haruka once he’s free. Furthermore, who’s to say that Haruka can’t act before he’s restrained? There’s too much uncertainty for me to consider him safe, personally. I want to believe that the creators would have all the prisoners be present for all 3 trials no matter what, but I’m not placing any bets on that with what we’ve been told.
