Then, dominating an elite younger generation with 16 years of difference in an individual sport, one by one defeating your opponents in 3-4 hours matches, with all the pressure solely on you, every other month of the year. Besides that, there are a dozen more records above everyone ever that Djokovic achieved, and still continues to break records at 36 years of age. He is definitely the greatest athlete on Earth today.

You need to put into context, Australian law at the time wasn’t allowing ‘anyone’ into the country that hadn’t been vaccinated to prevent the spread of Covid, it didn’t matter or you were a famous tennis star or an ordinary person, the rules were the ‘same’ for everyone. As soon as those laws and restrictions were lifted Novak like other people were allowed back into Australia. Australian’s at the time we’re upset that Novak was getting special treatment, one rule for him but another for others. It was actually a bureaucratic error that allowed him to fly to Australia, then a further mistake by Australian Border authorities for not allowing him access to lawyer before putting him on a return flight which is why it ended up in Court. But the simple fact ‘at the time’ Novak wasn’t eligible by law to enter Australia in the first place, you have to abide by their laws when traveling to other countries.
