Muddy's solo was a supreme example of sublime creativity. The way he received his applause was so graceful and humble. A truly exceptional human being :))))
Phenomenal display of his prowess! Just molten slide play by Waters! And you can see and feel that he is still a heart and soul blues man to the core. Love how he encourages his guitarists in their solos! First Primer , an ace, with an incredibly beautiful tone, then Kreher with some very tasty licks. Such humbleness and generosity belie the confidence of a master with nothing to prove.
Lovie Lee (piano), John Primer and Rick Kreher (guitars), Mojo Buford (harmonica), Earnest Johnson (bass), Ray Killer Allison (drums) - Muddy's '81 touring band.
Anyone who likes this and wants to hear Muddy live in his prime, check out "Live at Mr Kelly's" recorded in 1971 in a small club in Chicago, no Stones guesting just great solid blues from the master.
F da stones muddy jus tolererated em..good fo bizness!!! BTW he let my lil brother sit in on harp back in 72 Santa Cruz California, did " Caledonia" n improv instrumental loves ya Mudd you the greatest n a good generous man! RIP
Wasn't too impressed with his solo but he has potential. His tone was very meh. Lot of notes not a great pocket and not really letting the solo breath. Seemed very noodley and without intention. Needs to unleash that guitar.
Could not help my own self from smiling all the way thru this tune.
Wonderful solo by Muddy. It's so wild and dirty!Wonderful solos by John Primer and Rick Kreher!Carnival of souls!

The Master of bleus.
If really exists "the best" blues guitarist in the world, he's Muddy, not Hendrix, a clown!
The real white boy Rick on rhythm guitar lol 🤘🤘
great - no Stones around - not that they're not so bad!
IF YOU WANT A HARD COPY OF THIS IT IS ON DVD. FRANKLY EVERYTHING ELSE on it PALES IN COMPARISON INCLUDING THE STONES.
