18:20 There is alot of evidence suggesting he was actually *_THE_* best player. The fact that he won 3 consecutive MVPs alone is enough to confirm that. Thats literally what the title means. And he is one of only three players in history who won it three years back to back. He was also second in MVP voting like 5 times and third twice. Thats top 3 ten times. Considering he was only in the league 12 seasons and only played 11 of them as he missed the entire 88-89 season due to double Achilles surgery, that kinda fakking insane. 10 out of 11 seasons he was top3 I doubt anyone else has such a high median.
Really appreciated ypur comment about the threes. Started watching the NBA in 1972. The low post was my favorite part of the game. It did get too rough aftr the mid 80s and needed some toning down. But, the league killed it. I haven't watched the NBA since 2014. All the best.
You’re enthusiastic which is really appreciated. But when you talk over the video you miss a ton of good juice tidbits. And you R correct on your thinking on bird!

@heavin6586 yea I got that screwed up. For some reason I thought he had coached the celtics. But it was the Lakers. He coached Miami heat too if I remember correctly now that I'm thinking about it. Idk why I thought he coached the celtics🤦🏼 I'll blame it on the ADD🤣

If you are going to go into 80's Basketball....you definitely need to watch The Greatest Rivalry in Sports History "Magic vs Bird'. I am old enough to have seen Larry play in person.....I have fond memories of those days.
Just a little tip, try not to talk over the narrator, pause the vid if you want/need to say something. Makes it a lot easier for folks watching your reaction, to get the full picture.
@Bumperump yea I've started working on that and my previous few videos I've stuck to pausing the video to talk. Thanks for the tips though, and for checking out the channel
Bird would absolutely *_annihilate_* todays league. He averaged almost 30 back then, when it was perfectly fine to hit someone in a way that wouldve landed a prison sentence outside the court. Imagine Larry today... Your not even allowed to look at him funny, nevermind touching him, without being fouled. Larrys skill set + no one is allowed to go near him? He would averagre 40-45. On top of that he has the perfect passing game for todays league, probably the highest IQ in history (thats equally relevant in any era) the best court vision ever and is probably one of the toughest SoBs to ever walk this planet. Only way hed lose to anyone in todays league would be if he couldnt hold his tounge. He'd be rejected for trash talking people into traumatic shock.
Bro …. You….my man….are watching a LEGEND. Larry Bird is one of the greatest players the NBA HAS EVER SEEN! His accomplishments as a player, coach, and executive are too much to type. He saved the NBA.. him and Magic SAVED THE NBA. Watch A Courtship of Rivals. It’s the story of Magic and Larry from college to retirement. ✌️
@johndardi1334 thanks for dropping by the video and channel. I'll deff have to do a reaction to that one. More than just yourself has requested it. Just uploaded a larry bird trash talk reaction. Part 2 will come tomorrow morning. But I'll deff check that courtship of rivals out!
@stevechrist8622 thanks for the tip. I didn't realize it was going to be so hard to hear myself talk. I'm still getting this channel going, so I still need to add the headphones and mic to the set up and get those adjusted with the software I use. Thanks for checking the video out tho🙏🏼
@michaelhamer6841 Jordan was more than good. Dude is a legend. I was trying to gather my thought process lol he was definitely a beast. I just did his mixtape reaction the other day actually

@michaelhamer6841 lmao absolutely. I feel that. Just uploaded a new Bird video. Got part 2 coming in the morning. I don't have the time to finish editing tonight. I've got alot of stuff coming out! Thanks for the support and visiting the channel🙏🏼💯
Yea, I stopped talking so much during the video and have been pausing to speak. Still new to reactions, and trying to figure out what people like the most or what they don't like. Also finally got an external microphone and Webcam for better quality videos. Thanks for the pointers, and dropping by the channel🙏🏼

New sub, great reaction. Please watch the documentary about Magic and Bird called: "A Courtship of Rivals". It;s awesome! It's 90 min, you can break it up or watch it all at once. Thank you
I was looking forward to this video. You ruined it by talking over it. I guess you were not interested in what the coaches and other players had to say about Larry. I stopped watching when you kept talking.

Agreed. I love the reactions, but I still want to watch Larry Bird in here with being fed on the video.
Yup. It's called a reaction video, not a talk over the video while not directly reacting to it.
I agree. I stopped watching.
They introduced the 3 point line in Bird and Magic's rookie year.
Great reaction
