    hey this looks awesome, how well does the room hold the air and humidity inside of it?

    • @mountainviewmushrooms71

      Pretty well, the temperature of the room has a lot to do with it. In summer the air can hold so much moisture, and it can become supper cloudy, if not conditioned to a lower temperature. And in the winter it can become very dry. I'm also using a smaller humidifier then before and it works just fine. I have it running all the time at a temperature range of 59-64F

      @mountainviewmushrooms71 thanks for show us your work, looks great!! As a soon to be an oyster grower in tropical climate, can you give me an advice as to how to set up the ventilation in our 10 x 5 grow tent? (will be inside a room with an AC minisplit unit running 24/7), I'm planning to install the inline fan as negative pressure to suck the CO2 and spores out of the room, but I don't know if I must install a second fan to push cold air into the tent of if I must leave the door open to cool it. Also don't know if this vents must run 24/7. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks

    How often are you running your intake fans? And is that how you cool your grow room

      Currently only running exhausted fan and have a cracked window that will introduce new air. Everything is under negative pressure.

    thank you for this video, and showing your infrastructure set up. I'm at the point of figuring out mine with a similar climate zone up here in southern Ontario Canada. I heard you mention powerwashing the silver lined walls of styrofoam or whatever it is. No one shows the work involved with cleaning the fruiting room and how often it is required. I've only seen one other video of a guy who says he does it every batch of fruiting but he has those gorilla tents , no drains in the floor , he uses a shop vac . I found that video very interesting.... could you do one of the complete process of cleaning the fruiting room and other rooms? The cleaning cycle for a mushroom farm to me is important to know on two aspects. 1. So I know the amount of work and time needed and also methods you use such as a power washer. I'm thinking you have to use isopropyl on the shelves. Interesting about those doors and mold to. All stuff I'm trying to figure out. Keep up the good work , with 3 months into it your channel is doing very well in terms of eventual monitization if that's a goal. Personally I think there is more money in the mushrooms and how I am structuring my business plan to market it with products I am intending to refine but a youtube channel is part of a good marketing plan as well.

      Awesome Tom, I've been learning code for about a year now, have started software development of a software tool for all farms. Hoping to showcase it to all the farms watching the channel, my eventual goal. Yes I can make a video on the Grow Room cleaning aspect. Couple videos I'm working on now I'll put it in the queue👍 happy to hear you like the videos.

      @@mountainviewmushrooms71 That's really cool . I'd definitely check that software out. I actually program arduinos and raspberry pis among other controllers so I was intending to build a controller at some point which would have the ability to handle multiple rooms at various temperatures. I'm a ways off from that though yet. Keep up the great work on the videos and I'll be waiting for that cleaning video.

    How long have you had it for and do you have any concernes for mold due to humidity

    • @mountainviewmushrooms71
      @mountainviewmushrooms71  2 місяці тому

      If your place has insulation sealed really well on its very interior walls the moisture from the humidity coming from the humidifier shouldn't go anywhere other than the room you're growing in.

    Hi How you maintain temperature in winter?

    • @mountainviewmushrooms71
      @mountainviewmushrooms71  Рік тому +1

      I have a minisplit unit in the room connecting to the Grow room. Then fans that pull that heated air into the Grow room.
