Poor Scout! Eczema is not fun. My mother suffers with it and psoriasis. So funny, I literally just made the lotion that you made for Scout, for my Mum and I just got the notification for this video. Is it a sign? 😂 I'm happy to hear the "chlorophyll" soap is helping her. The soap came out so cool! Thank you for the awesome video!
Glad you tried the nettles in soap. The smell has been a worry for me, but I'll give it a go and add peppermint and eucalyptus EO to try to hide the smell. I've used it in cream and it was brilliant, but stinky. 😍 😍
I just made some dead nettle soap! I used dead nettle and made a tea and did half tea half water for the lye solution. I made it hot process and I used honey to help with lather. It was fun and interesting to make
I am literally about to make a nettle and mint soap right this second, all grown in my garden. Dried the nettle and mint, made into a powder and water substituted for concentrate mint tea. Now enough jibber jabber and time to make soap
What a coincidence; I made my first nettle soap this past sunday. I have my own nettle plant and have used this plant to cook food with also. Look at the foods she is eating. I have skin issues also but have it under my control.
My son who’s now 29 he has eczema really bad on the back of his hands and his knuckles would crack n bleed! Nothing I bought worked including prescription. So that’s when I researched how to make body butters. It took me 2 years to formulate a body butter that he would use because he can’t stand anything greasy. So it took a long time to get it to wear he uses it. It’s my best seller. His hands never itched at all ut just cracked and would bleed. He also luvs my calamine soap. It’s the stuff they make the pink lotion with. I got it from Ellen Ruth Soap’s. I have eczema and so does my other son just not as bad. Make her that calamine soap. Just it will seize on u!! Mix it w ur Essential Oil’s ahead w Ur oats and throw it in mix fast and dump it in the mold extremely quickly! I messed up 2 loaves before I dumped it in premixed hit it w a wish or spatula NOT ur stand mixer and dump it in. My boys and me no longer have the dry eczema. We will always have eczema. The longer have the dry patches using the body butter and that soap.
I have the same thing in one spot on my side by my hip the doctors said the same thing we first thought it was from laundry soap but I’ve used the same one for years but mine doesn’t start itching until it starts to get really dark pink but as long as you keep putting lotions on keep it moisture then it won’t itch I have try shea butter and castor oil by there self I do castor once a week it keeps my skin from changing colors get red or pink plus it helps fight bacteria and stuff I use castor on my head and around my eyes when I do any yard work my allergies are really bad it keeps the inflammation down and helps with sinuses headaches and migraine I’m sorry I’m late I’ve been so busy lately
Great video! Looking for healthy skin soothers for ideas on what I can do for myself and my grandson. I don't care that it doesn't smell the best as long as there may be some benefit to it. You know, something more than just getting me clean.
Have you tried pine tar? We can’t make claims but my customer swears by my pine tar soap, salve and hair conditioner and mask for eczema, psoriasis and other health issues including fungi, but again many don’t like the smell. I personally like the smoky kinda fragrance pine tar has. Love your colors
I could definitely use this soap.. but I would need one that smells better 😂 my eczema is awful! I get it bad on my feet.. but this year combined with some of my other medical issues.. I got hives all over my entire body that lasted for about 2 months and turned into some eczema under the length of my arms... it was sooo itchy and what makes it worse is scratching created more hives 😭 could you make this with a milk scent that would cover the smell? If soo. I would definitely be interested in giving it a try!
Okay so I'm pretty sure it was a Lone Star FO that caused the last chlorophyll. Am I going to go back check? Nope just gonna rely on my unreliable memory 😂
Chlorophyll.
😂

That's a beautiful soap. And, a crap ton of nettle. I absolutely love it and after seeing your result am upping my PPO nettle.
Highly recommend whatever company is listed on that bag! I get my food spices and my soapy additives from there. Great prices!
I can’t wait to try this, I have eczema and my mom has another skin issue and we are trying everything for her.

Definitely cool!
The color of the raw soap batter reminds me of Prid a drawing salve that comes in a little orange tin
Love it, it looks really cool❤

Flax seed is supposed to help with skin, but after using it more than 6 months...it did nothing to help me.
Everyone is different though.
Everyone is different, for sure! We are totally checking into what she’s eating - thanks for the tip!

I can't wait to try this! I have several family members with skin issues, maybe this will help at least one of them.
Awesome!

I can't imagine anything smelling worse than neem or laurel berry lol. Very cool! I need to try nettle for my kiddo.
looks beautiful on youtube.
I would like to try this for my eczema.

Had a patch of itch weed to clear out anyway. Now i know what I'm gonna do with it.

Mine got so dang thick! I think it was the Moroccan clay, because I used a FO that I’ve used before and it’s always behaved.
I have nettle extract for my shampoo bars but I’ve never try powder See the things I learn 😂
Oh yah, nettle stinks! I’m shocked Scout doesn’t seem to mind it !
I’m convinced she has no sniffer.

I’ll rely on yours more than mine because if it IS the Lonestar era, I’ve blocked that from my memory for my own sanity. 😂
