That's what I am exactly going through now. Trying to understand the difference between different types of pants fits and what looks best on me. I've bought myself 2 pairs of chinos (as I recall they are slim fit), light blue regular fit jeans and best I could afford total black slim fit jeans, really like them all on me! Especially that I used to wear 2 pairs of random secondhand dark blue jeans for years for every occasion 😂 Would be great to know more on that topic from you, Alex ❤

Never did skinny fit, but did slim. Now I can't stand slim. With many designers doing regular taper or athletic taper, you have all the fit and comfort and avoid the sloppy pantleg. I don't follow trends, but I pay attention to "evolutions". For example, working from home during Covid meant shorts, sweats, hoodies, COMFORT. Had to go into the office the other day and wore upscale athliesure and was dressed more comfortable yet dressy than most everyone in the office. It felt good, and took as little effort in planning and heading out than throwing on sweats. Later that day, I wore the same outfit to a MLB game. Versatile. Get inspiration from influencers, but think before hopping on trends.

Skinny fit was actually a very clownish style. Looking back, seeing myself on older photos wearing tight jeans makes me want to laugh at myself. I think most of us didn't even realize how bad it actually looks, such style works for women, but not for guys. Regular sized clothes are the way to go, slim fit shirts are also nice when you want to emphasize your physique, but never skinny fit.

For shirts go with "medium regular fit" and with jeans or pants go with "slim fit". (It'll help fs)
