I'm always amazed at how much internal space these smaller boats have.
It doesn't look like the day head is set up for a shower. Look at me, an expert on en suites and day heads. Thanks Nick!

You can see the Showerhead to the left of the sink. - it is that vertical long object.

This boat should be required study for folks wanting to design "larger" yachts. If there can be TWO "usable" cabins on a 41' open deck boat WITH all the standard amenities, there is no excuse for some of the larger boats with their odd use / waste of space. This anomaly seams most prevalent in the 70' - 80' range. Shorter or longer vessels appear to be very squared away. Just a personal observation, not a dig. And speaking of dig - I DIG this boat...

Loved the convertible aspect of that table/seating aft that makes to a sunbed.
DISLIKED the helm station (only one, really? I mean modern looking but it needs at least two) and also the area right there to port.
Yes - they did a nice job with configuring the cabins and such down below, they did.
All in all I would never thumb down a video of yours simply because I don't like the vessel. Good job as usual.

Love the table at the stern. You and the good lady often seem to sit on the Smugglers Blues II beach club but this looks like an even better option for the sandwiches.

Unfortunately my claustrophobia requires a larger boat - (ie a lottery win)
I know its a personal choice but this would be my preferred layout, much rather have 2 good size cabins!
wow for such a small boat it has so many excellent features and a decent size galley to boot ..... that would be ideal for for a couple of couples out on a week's cruise

Smuglers Blues 3? It's absolutley gorgeous and the price is a more "down to earth" number. I'd love to see the coupe version.
I noticed that too - Im guessing with the name and German flag it's made in Germany yet seems to be nicer and cheaper than a US made Regal or Sea Ray.

A couple of years ago I chartered a Bavaria ht42 in Croatia. Great boat for a family of four on a weeks cruise. This looks like a modern version of that with the added bonus of the bigger master. A really nicely upgraded modern version.

Typically €4-6k a week in Croatia depending upon what time you go and what age, type of boat you get. More expensive in Spain or Italy.

I will be at the interboot this year but I have never been to a boatshow. So my question would be if you can just walk on the boats and have a look at them or if you need to call them in advance to get scheduled visits?
It depends on the boats and how busy they are, but there should be plenty you can get on

Wow that's a great use of space - I especially like the swim platform table setup. It doesn't leave a huge amount of room for toys as far as I can see, but I could live with that for the great view and atmosphere. A glass of wine and a fresh grilled fish off there would be wonderful!
I like the cabin layout too. Do you know if the beds in the front cabin scissor? I also can't tell if there's a shower in the day heads?
Either way, great tour as always and one of my favourite of your recent small boats!

Interior design very disappointing, very bland, very drab, lacks elegance. Those foldable tables are hideous. The price however is right with this one. (Did I see Nick wear Aquaholic embroidered socks???).

I like Bavaria, their sailing boats are great too and like this, reasonably priced.
Great price for such a wonderful boat. Most are soooo overpriced. To think a "yacht" not much bigger (if even given the space inside) can easily cost x10 and you gain practically nothing... you just end up scratching you head at the insane disparity of these crazy unreasonable prices that some seems to just make up.
Even with the limited access you made it a great tour. One of your shortest. lol They should have let you in that engine compartment. Don't they know who you are?! 🤣

Looks like a super boat, especially below. However, I didn't see signs of an awful lot of storage space for things like fenders, ropes etc. Sorry to be boring, but not having enough room to put things will soon become an irritation; that back table is great, but also where usually you find good storage space on a Bavaria. If I am wrong about that, apologies.

Great Video Nick :) This Boat is really fantastic value for only 276,000 euros, this might be a silly Q but I have been out of the U.K. since 2008 and moving back in Feb 2021, are these size of Boats allowed on the Canals in England or only Narrow boats?
I've no idea, I've never done canal cruising. It wouldn't be very suitable though, due to engine size

Very, very nice boat. In 3 or 4 years, I might buy one when the price is down to a comfortable level and it doesn't take such a bit hit every year. Overall, Bavaria is my favourite boat manufacturer on the market due its clever layouts and fairly low prices and still good quality.
As someone who only just started paying attention to any kind of boat within the last two weeks after a couple UA-camrs local to me bought boats, I gotta say that this is impressive for the size and cost. Would love to see the coupe version.
Would also love to have some water within a hundred miles to use it on...
and enough money to pay for it....
Maybe employment would be nice too... lol

Nice to see teak side decks on a boat this size although I'm sure they aren't a cheap option.
That aft facing dinette on the swim platform is worth buying this boat for on its own.
I couldn't get with the limited room above the bed in the master. Too claustrophobic for me.
I love how this boat is a small 40 footer, but it has the space of a 50 footer.

Interesting to view the Chris Craft Launch and the Bavaria back to back, as posted today! An extra 126,000 Euros gets a lot more functionality for cruising. Or, at least I get to ponder about the different functions for each boat and what the extra money purchases in a new boat as opposed to a late model pre-owned boat.

Really unusual to have a master cabin aft the full beam of the boat on a 40 something foot sports cruiser... Apart from of course the two other 40 something foot sports cruisers you've recently featured in the last fortnight, being the Prestige 460s and the Beneteau GT 46.
This boat seems to be one of the best values yet, that's a lot of boat with amazing features for that price! Does it have the option of turning the lower lounge area into a third cabin with bunk beds?

A comparably sized Princess would be say 5X the price. What are the main compromises you make by choosing this over the Princess?
A Princess would be maybe 30% more at a guess. Have a look at my Princess V40 video, that's the closest Princess, and judge for yourself.
