The composers did so much justice to this song (and the whole OST really), they did such an amazing job of staying true to the original while also giving it a bit of a modern flair
At first I was listening and thought "the bit that plays before the loop starts again in the original is missing". But then I realize that there's several versions to this... not only does that part eventually come in (same notes pretty sure but they were more like beeps in the original) but the entire thing was extended!
IMO, Sweatshop is the best palace track in P5R behind Whims of Fate. And yes, I do include Gentle Madman. Ark is good, A Woman is VERY boring after a while, Days When My Mother Was There is OK but gets monotonous, Price is a banger and Gentle Madman is alright, but the alternate mix that plays in the final part of the palace gets on my nerves through no fault of its own simply due to that FUCKING RGB LIGHT PUZZLE.
Jesus they really went all out for this. i know theyre different composers but i was a bit disappointed with the barrel volcano remix in mario RPG which was my favourite dungeon theme in that game. For my favourite in TTYD they really went above and beyond.
I love this theme, but i will say that compared to the original, i dont like how quiet it feels compared to the original. Still great music though and the new battle theme. I love it too!
People have been so butt hurt about my comments on this soundtrack but I can objectively say, although I like the original more this is REALLY good. There are some aspects to this I even like more than the original

@@Charnutboy Nope it just had a single version of the song and that's it. All dynamic changes and compositions are entirely new to the remake.
