The Third Battle of Panipat took place on 14 January 1761, at Panipat, about 60 miles (95.5 km) north of Delhi between a northern expeditionary force of the Maratha Empire and the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Durrani with two Indian Muslim allies- the Rohilla Afghans of the Doab, and Shuja-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Oudh.
Result:-
- The result of the battle was the halting of further Maratha advances in the north, and a destabilization of their territories, for roughly 10 years.- This period of 10 years is marked by the rule of Peshwa Madhavrao, who is credited with the revival of Maratha domination following the defeat at Panipat.- In 1771, 10 years after Panipat, Peshwa Madhavrao sent a large Maratha army into North India in an expedition that was meant to: - Re-establish the Maratha domination in North India - Punish refractory powers that had either sided with the Afghans, such as the Rohillas, or had shaken off Maratha domination after Panipat. - The success of this campaign can be seen as the last saga of the long story of Panipat.

Sir I have question from modern India history which is, what were the reason for the supremacy of the portguese in India during the 16th century???sir plz reply it
Arab traders became jealous of the rise and success of the Portuguese and hence caused enmity bred between the Portuguese and the local king Zamorin. The hostilities grew and led to full- fledged military face- off between them. King Zamorin was defeated by the Portuguese. With the victory over Zamorin, the military superiority of the Portuguese was established.
Sir decline of Mughal empire Kai baad bhi btana pls

Bhai 3rd panipat ki jaankari dena hai to sahi tarike se do.
Hello sir
The Marathas were actually not so soundly defeated, it's just a historical lying narrative which we Indians have failed to correct. The circumstances all suggest otherwise. Firstly, the Marathas deployed long range artillery guns and imposed heavy casualties on the Afghan army in the first 3 days only. A letter was written to Balaji bajirao by Sadashiv Rao which clearly says that the Maratha army had all but routed the Afghan army in the first 3 days only, and the Maratha victory was eminent, this letter is cited in all history books. Secondly, even after the war Delhi remained under the control of the Marathas under Vishwas Rao, which wouldn't have been the case if the Afghan forces had really won as is the common narrative. Thirdly, the Sikh army also looted and plundered the fleeing Afghan army when they were on the run. Fourthly, the jats who had fought alongside the Marathas already withdrew from the war which clearly meant that their objectives of defending the country was well achieved. Only, the Maratha general refused to come to any kind of agreement with the fleeing Afghan army and fought to death because of patriotism, and this fact had been employed by British to create the false legend of an Indian defeat by the Afghan army. The legend of these camel mounted canons magically defeating the Maratha army after receiving heavy beating in the first three days is a false British Islamic narrative. Had the Maratha army been really defeated by Afghans in 1761, India would have bee an Islamic State by now. However, it is true that due the economic calamities imposed by the war, the Indian States did become weaker and the British eventually did come to power, but only after five more Anglo Maratha and Anglo Sikh wars over a period of atleast 50 to 60 years. The false narrative of an Indian defeat in 1761, was spun by the British and Islamic institutions to weaken the morale of Hindus.
