One hour to finish a huge burger, piled high with beef patties, chicken, bacon and cheese; sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches, a bowl of chilli cheese fries, three tacos, onion rings, chicken wings and a bowl of cereal of your choice! Get it down and a free meal and t-shirt are your rewards...fail and it's $50!

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

I am a fast eater and sometimes think about going into competitive eating but I wouldn't be a really good one because I just hate my hands getting dirty while eating. I use utensils for every occasion which can slow me down.

I might be catching you a bit late but because of your videos I tried my first food challenge in this place called The Round Table just outside St Louis in Belleville, IL.
I wish you coulda seen how big my eyes got when they brought out the biggest omelette I’ve ever seen in my life! I managed to get down the omelette in the 30 min time limit, but I barely touched the couple pounds of hashbrowns it came with!
It was a lot of fun and if you ever came out to the St Louis area I think it would give you a run for your money! 😂

Love to watch you do your thing. You are so self conscious when eating like this. It makes me feel more normal. I constantly judge myself while I act and i see my "internal thought process" plays out in your narration and actions. Your Beard Cleaning Routine provides a nice break to the eating sprints and that "pace break" makes your videos mesmerizing.

Awesome restaraunt. I work in Killeen, it's my favorite burger joint by far. They also have an epic cereal bar.
My bf and I live in Killeen and the food and service at the Galaxy has always been awesome!

haha, the waitress warns, "You only get an hour to finish everything"! Beard then spends well over a minute trying to make a hasty plan on the fly of the order of consuming. I always wonder how the staff feel about the 1 hour limit when you do it in way less than half.

I think I have a very can do challenge for you beard a m&m eat challenge a English gent bonds the record for the most m&ms stacked which is 5 .so I was thinking the most in 24 hours you chose peanut or plain I know 24 hours is a long time but would set a true record and a dedication by using 24 hours would set a powerful record and a new eating challenge to be beat . Keep the beard clean skip from the state of Michigan and United States would love to see this and so would some others that I've talked to when I was thinking of a good challenge.
For serious eaters, competitive or not, once the time goes over 15 minutes or so, it becomes a non factor.Good to have the longer time for the amateurs and the brave adventurers.

What always never fails to surprise me is not how much he eats, but how fast he eats.

Even though he has an hour to do it, he still rams it all in his mouth as if he only had 10 mins. to eat it all.
faster you eat, the easier it is. You have a limited time before the brain kicks in and says "Hey dummy, stop doing that."

I loved going to Galaxy Bar when I was stationed at Fort Hood. It was about a 2-3 minute drive from my house. Truly a unique place, and it’s so cool seeing you go to places where I have been/lived.
You know why I like watching you? Your personality/humor. There are others that do what you do, I won’t mention any names, but they seem so dry and not as friendly.

Those cups he was drinking out of take me back to my childhood. My dad had them in our house back in the 90s and they were my favorite to drink out of. Slowly they each broke as the plastic got more brittle over time and they'd each probably been washed 1000+ times.

I have seen a lot of your challenges. I can´t imagine that you eat all this stuff without vomiting. The food isn´t chewed well so your stomach can´t digest it really. It´s a miracle.

@@larrymosher5045 My understanding is these competitive eaters expand their stomachs so much doing this that things sort of stop "moving on down the road" for a while. So it's really not until the next day they finally start working some of it out. It can take days in some cases to fully process all of that food. A normal person who hasn't trained their body to do this would likely feel a lot of pain trying this and be hitting a toilet pretty quick. These guys have literally changed how their stomachs operate, similar to how some carnivorous animals will eat entire large animals but only eat once every few weeks. Apparently the human body has the latent ability to do that, and these guys basically activate that ability through the methods Beard and others have discussed. A lot of these guys don't even feel full after doing this.

For me, I thought the grilled cheese was the tastiest part of the challenge, which seems odd, but it was. My chicken breast was rubbery 😂. Unique challenge for sure!
