@@DeathhAngel1 even more surprising how many people dont know the red liquid isnt blood....
Awesome eating, you champ. Fair play to the restaurant for not overloading the challenge with 50 onion rings and 2lbs of fries. Well done matey.
thank you :)
I think the most amazing part of these videos is that he almost always gets a dessert after.
The fact you made it through a well done steak of any size is incredible
save your fingers snob
I can’t even imagine trying to attempt this you’re a champ!
This is one of the best ones in my eyes haha if I could do one it would be this one
As a Texan, a lover a food, and a beard man. This is amazing to watch! You need to have a post about where your gonna be i wanna see this in person!!!
Reminds me of the movie The Great outdoors with John Candy and Dan aykroyd Great movie He attempted to eat a 96 oz Texas steak huge cut
With that salad it would most likely be a cucumber rather than a zucchini but it’s the thought that counts 😂
Mister beard you never cease to amaze me I don't know where you put it another great job look forward to the next one
I like how the waitress was just chillin like it’s no big deal that this guy is eating this much so food so fast and with ease
Its Texas. Children eat like this there lol
because she is twice his size......
Waitress still gets a tip probably
Murica
No wonder anymore why murica people need their "full size" suv's and pick up's...
Omg, I can't believe you were right down the road! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. ♥
cool! How is this place? what city again?
@@lobstermania4025plantersville. My wife’s boyfriend lives there.
How can a restaurant in Texas not have pecan pie?!
how can you order a well done steak in tx and survive lol
Seeing you with that steak reminds me of the chef from the movie "The Great Outdoors" 😂
Absolute classic
Great scene
Exactly my first thought when I read the title. The huge slab hidden at the back of the freezer. 😂 John Candy, the legend. And Beard ofc! 💪
Aykroyd listens to his stomach "processing nicely". Sleeper movie for sure. I love when he is telling the bear story to the family. Candy was the best.
@@1bcordell big bear, big big bear
I like how they don't give you giant amounts of fries or half loaf of bread that alot of these places use surprised they didn't have like three potatoes and an enormous bowl of beans
No pearl clutching over cooking temps or what sauces match when you're doing a challenge! What a fella as always!
Except it wasn't a zucchini, it was a slice of cucumber. lol. Well done as always! Country gravy fixes everything.
I'm glad you said it and not me lol
Or it was a boiled or baked sliced zucchini...
no it was definitely not that@@sosig8332
No, he mentioned the cucumber right before that. In the UK a zucchini is called a courgette, which is why he asked what it was called 8n the US, and then he said "zucchini.." That was a slice of raw zucchini. You can tell because it has a dark peel around the edges. Its my favorite salad ingredient. If you haven't eaten sliced raw zucchini and you like salad, please try it! You can also slice yellow squash raw and it tastes similar. Both are technically squashes and both are mild and crunchy. Perfect for salad.
@@sosig8332 You can eat zucchini raw. And that was raw zucchini he was eating. It's awesome in salad.
Good job, Beard! 👍 I had a 54oz medium-rare ribeye, french fries, mac & cheese, salad, and 2 rolls the other day, as a challenge at a local BBQ eatery. I was successful, if barely. So I received the meal for 1/2 price and got the all-important t-shirt. It definitely told me I'm out of practice, though. I wasn't running out of time, just capacity and jaw strength, because when I finished I had 14 minutes left out of a full hour.
I was reminded of “The Great Outdoors “, with John Candy and his 96 oz steak he ate. Great job!
Hell yea he was struggling towards the end
The ole '96er
🤣 🤣 there's nothing but grissel and fat on that plate
He’s not finished yet 😆
Nice!! Rip John Candy!!! Feel like he gets over looked. But I always loved him!
When he seen the looks of the place, hiring immediately sign, and nobody eating inside Beard said to himself im definitely getting the steak well done, I don't want to get food poisoning. Hey at least the A1 was old and sour 👍
"Couldn't fit that in my mouth, or anywhere else for that matter!" What the heck kind of kinks do you and Mrs Beard get into?!!
😂
Well let's all hope that it won't be "Texas biggest sausage" next or we might just find out 😂
He meant his cabinets obviously! Come on mate, get your mind outta the gutter! 😅
Lmaoooo you got a dirty mind buddy🤣
Saving that for OnlyFans mate
Seriously some of the best service I’ve ever witnessed.
Love your work Adam
Well done! Texas is proud of you!
You did GREAT, surprised at the lack of banter on their end (especially since it was quiet in there) and there should DEFINITELY be some kind of wall of fame. CHEERS!!
Man I love the fact that after a Monster steak you still went for the dessert 🤜 legend
Selling gluttony to a starving world.
I wonder what he is like behind closed doors. He seems like a good guy, strong, moral.
Dude is Legend! A major plus is he is so nice to everyone! Well done! Cheers
Man in Texas terms, you were basically down the road from me. Haha
One of my favorite things about a Beard episode is all the subtle differences between England and the USA
Like petrol prices? 😆
@@Beardmeatsfood Petrol was 69 cents a gallon in the US I saw today on the news lol. The gas station manager put up the wrong price and lots of cars came round, that mistake cost them 16.000 dollars and it cost the manager his job.
In my years of traveling one thing I've found about hole in the wall restaurants. The less they care about the external looks, the better the food is. I went to a Thai spot in Seattle that looked like they were squatting in it, but it was the best Thai food I've ever had.
Because they care about the food rather than shallow appearance. They're nicer people, too.
It actually is pretty common to get that gravy with a chicken fried steak, but not with a regular grilled steak. Either way, I could see it being good!
I usually ask, yes. But you can get it.
Not in the UK though
"I couldn't fit that in my mouth, or anywhere else for that matter". I'm dead 😂☠️
I lived in Plantersville for over 15 years. My parents still live right down the road from that place. I’ve eaten at that restaurant numerous times. That video brought back some great memories
I was just there last weekend. Went to P6 farms in Montgomery. Small world.
This episode was brilliant! Truly entertaining. Had me laughing from the bearded figure in the front entrance to moms dehydrated pot roast to the cheesy sauce! Great video Beard. 😂🤣
thanks mate!
Commuted past this place many years going to TAMU from Conroe and finally decided to go and do that challenge but chickened out and ordered a regular steak! Kudos to you and glad you made it to Texas.
I made that same drive from the Woodlands to College Station from 1983 through 1985. Gig 'em! Some of the best years of my life...
😝💯
Beardmeatsfood, this is your superpower. Wow, I am hooked and can't stop watching. ❤
It's always fun listening and watching your videos Adam. Always impressive
Thanks Simon
This is my kind of challenge. There are a lot of different foods I can not eat a lot of but when it comes to steak...........I am an animal.
I've had issues keeping my appetite recently and your videos are simply awesome. I actually get hungry watching your videos. I'm wondering if it would help my Nana to watch as well. She's 83 and losing her appetite recently. The doctors say she's underweight. I wish you the best and THANK YOU for sharing all of your yummy food challenges with us. The breakfast challenges are my favorite to watch. 😍 There's nothing better than sausage and bacon in over easy eggs (I call them "dunker eggs") and after I've eaten the yolk, I make a sandwich with the remainder of the egg and buttered toast. ❤️
so much information
This challenge seems more like a bit normal lunch the way Beard is takling while eating😂 - with the mandatory dessert. Well done!!
The Beard is a BEAST!! Only seen a few videos, but he crushes every challenge (time wise)!
Nice! The "courgette" was a cucumber, very common in salads here.
I can't to make sure someone commented this.
Squash
Texas doesn't know who it's messing with! Go beard!
they do in Amarillo....he can't do that one....big tex
In the movie the great outdoors. John Candy ate a 96 ounce steak.
The big texan steak ranch has a 72 oz steak challenge with a lot of sides and a peculiar time limit, the story goes that a cowboy ordered this steak with shrimp, potatoes, salad, roll and butter and at it all in less than an hour and the sides are not small.
It's not that difficult to do the Big Texan 72oz. I did it twice 1987 and 1989. Both times under 50 minutes. It's all in the two days prior preparation.
As a native Houstonian it is awesome seeing you visit so many places that I am familiar with! Love the videos, keep it up :)
thanks mate
when he got the cream gravy i actually shouted "YES!"
I was expecting them to offer him ranch dressing :D Texas' other creamy sauce.
My son and I love your videos we watch them every time they drop. He says he’s the beard man when he eats haha. Do the restaurants ever look mad when you finish the challenge and have to give it to you for free.
It’s always a good day when there’s a new Beard video, and you crushed it as always 🤘😊🤘. Hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and I’m lookin forward to the next one 🤘😃🤘
thanks mate
What an absolute legend. Been watching Beard for years now and I still don't know if the guy has a limit. That cheesy sauce though X)
thank you :)
Place looked really shady. Love the giant fork and spoon. You never fail to entertain us.
It’s always the shady looking places with the best food tho
I try
I’ve been a chef for 21 years and In London there’s a Somali restaurant that looks extremely shady from the outside but they have one of the most incredible foods I’ve ever tried!
@@AM-mv6ro i think it’s because they are like mom and pop kinda places so they don’t have much money but the recipes are like long passed family ones tbh
a lot of the 'hole in the wall' joints here in the south and midwest can be hiding some of the greatest food you'll ever eat, usually bbq of some kind. of course there are plenty of crap ones too.
75 minutes is just like walk in the park for Adam!
someone tell this man about country fried steak! he’d love it
The dessert request had me laughing at the end. The waitress was prolly thinking, "this man is insane!" Hahaha, you are a machine!!
thanks tom
