How do you get six months of battery life out of the outdoor camera ? Please explain

Guess I hadn’t really thought about it but I use these at my cabin and I’m guessing the battery life is tied to the fact that they don’t get triggered very often. So they are always watching but seldom being triggered and consuming much battery power.
